Eric Williams

I looked at Seth who was in shock, staring at me.

“You really don’t remember Nyx” he said

Who the h’ll is this Nyx, I don’t even know who she is.

“No,” I replied.

Seth immediately ran out and when he came back he was with the doctor.

“Why the h’ll did Eric lose his memory of Nyx?” he shouted.

The doctor looked confused and so was I

“Whose Nyx?” he asked.

I watched as Seth took a deep breath before he said “she’s someone dare to Eric and he really loves her”

I Choked on my food as I stared at Seth who was also staring at me.

I burst out laughing while Seth gave me a disturbing look.

“I think you got it all wrong the only girl I ever loved and cared about was Ariel” I said.

Seth just ignored me as he continued to look at the doctor demanding for an answer.

“Eric did you remember why you were drunk that night”

I tried to remember what made me become drunk because the last time I drank so much was three years ago.

I tried remembering but the only thing I could remember was running out of the meeting looking for someone but I was in so much pain.

I told the doctor that I remembered that I was in so much pain.

The doctor took Seth outside as they talked outside while I just continued eating my food.

But my mind kept telling me who the hell is Nyx.

Seth will never lie or joke with someone because he knows that the only person I cared about was Ariel. And I know he’ll never use someone else’s name as a joke.

Thinking of it brought pain to my head, making me whine in pain.

The only thing I knew was that this girl called Nyx causes me pain anytime I think about her.

I just brushed the thought of get away as I focused back on eating while waiting for Seth who was busy with whatever the doctor was telling him.

I walked outside with the doctor, I looked at Eric one last time hoping he was joking but he was really serious. How the hell did he forget Nyx?

“I think I know why Eric doesn’t remember the girl he cared about, what’s her name again” the doctor said.

“It’s Nyx”

“Right, the night before the accident was Eric hurt by her”

There was silence before I finally nodded my head.

“I think that’s what resulted in his accident. I mean he must have been hallucinating that she was there which led to his accident.

To him forgetting about her, he must have felt so much pain that all he wanted was for it to just go away and due to that the memories of her he once had was gone”

I listened to what the doctor said as I stared at Eric through the door who was watinyhis food in peace.

“Is there any way he can remember her”

“I don’t know if it’s up to him. I’ve done my part as a doctor, the rest is in Eric’s hands.

I just nodded my head entering back to Eric’s room.

“Seth, ” he called.

“Hmm”

“When do I have to leave this place? I have a lot to cover “.

“You need rest Eric and your father will be here any minute he’s being the one watching over your company “.
