CHAPTER 57

I and Seth gasped while looking at Ryder.

“You guys never knew, I killed her and I don’t feel any remorse so I’ll just end the both of you here and if she decides to follow you I’ll kill her too”.

“You’re a psychopath Ryder, you seriously need help . Jealousy is your heart even towards your own friend and killing the person that brought you into this world.

This is why you’ll always be one step away from Eric, ” Seth said, spilling it out like it was venom.

Ryder raised his gvn and before I pushed Seth away he shot him twice on his shoulder.

“Seth, I rushed to him.

But he ignored me and then screamed”now Nyx “.

Nyx bit Ryder on his arm then kicked him on his balls before running towards us.

I immediately hugged her .

“Get the h’ll out of here I’ll hold Ryder”.

“I’m not leaving you ”

“Get Nyx out of here first then you’ll come get me”.

I hesitated at first but I just ran with Nyx in my arms.

Immediately Eric and Nyx were out. I looked at Ryder with a smirk before standing up.

“What a nice act Seth?”

“You know me too well “.

“I wonder when you’ll tell Eric “.

“I wonder when you’ll shut that mouth of yours”.

“We were supposed to be the closest one not Eric, I’m your step brother “.

“A psycho one, my step brother died a long time ago. Don’t think I didn’t know about you killing your mother.

Point of correction, you’ll always be an illegitimate child”.

“You bastard, ” Ryder said.

“I should be calling you that name because you’re the bstard child ” I said smiling.

“Let’s just end this now “.

I rushed to Ryder as we started to throw blows at each other. I shot him in the leg before hitting him hard, making him fall on the floor.

I kicked his gvn far away, pointing mine to him.

“You’ve forgotten who you thought”.

“Just kill me already, “.

Looking at Ryder I knew I could never kill my own brother even if he was my step brother .

“I’ll just hand you to the police, so I walked away.

Immediately I took Nyx outside, I told her to stay there while I went to meet Seth back..

I didn’t wait for her to say anything before I rushed inside but to my surprise I saw Seth looking unharm.

“Eric, there’s something I want to tell you after all this is over”.

I just ignored him as I rushed and hugged him, “thank God you’re okay”.

“I’ve got you, I’ll always be at your back”.

“You are always there when I need you “.

“That’s what best friends are for ” he said, giving me the most heart warming smile.

“What about Ryder ?”

“He’s….”

But he was caught off when I saw Nyx.

“What the fking h’ll are you doing here”

” I just … wa….nted to check if you’re okay “.

“Get…th–

But it was already too late to complete my words when Ryder pulled the trlgger pointing at Nyx.

But Seth was fast to push Nyx away while the bvllet hit him right directly in the chest.

My hands started to shake as I rushed to Seth.

“Seth, Seth you’ll be okay . Call the ambulance”.

I said talking to no one in particular.

“E.. Eric, ”

“Just shut up you’ll be okay”.

BI.ood started to come out of his mouth, while his bI.eeding wasn’t stopping.

“Br..other” I looked at Ryder confusedly who was shocked trying to come close to Seth.

“Don’t fking come near him, you did this to him”.
