CHAPTER 65

After two hours of waiting I heard Eric’s car driving in.

Immediately stood up rubbing my sweaty pam on my clothes.

As he entered inside he didn’t notice me as his eyes were glued on his phone.

As he made his way upstairs I called his name nervously.

“Eric” with that he froze.

It’s been six months since Nyx left and the only thing I could do for her was watch and take care of her from afar.

Even if in my head I try to hate her but the heart is something you can never deny.

I knew I was just fooling myself because I love her so dmn much.

I became more cold and my employees suffered from it.

But I knew they understood because I still haven’t gotten over Seth’s d.eath.

Coming home to that empty house was something I wasn’t looking forward to.

I tried staying in my hotel but everything keeps reminding me of Seth.

The hotel was where Seth and I chill whenever we don’t want to stay at home .

My house was even the worst, reminding me of two people Seth and Nyx.

Office Seth .

And my nightmares have become so bad that I can’t even sleep for an hour.

Reaching home , I got an email from my assistant that I’ll be having a meeting around 7 in the morning.

But then I heard my name.

And I knew who that voice belonged to.

It was no other than Nyx. I froze in my step thinking I was hallucinating again .

As I decided to take another step I heard my name. Slowly I turned and I saw her with the most beautiful smile . The smile I missed so much.

God knows how much I thought of fleeing to New York to see her but I just shut myself out, afraid to get hurt again.

She started walking toward me as I just stared at her.

She was now standing in front of me and she pulled me into a hug.

I missed this hug so much. I missed her so fking much.

My eyes started to become teary.

As I was about to hug her back she pulled away.

“I’m so sorry Eric, please forgive me. I know you still haven’t forgiven me but I’m sorry.

I missed you” she said

You don’t know how much I missed you, I wanted to say that.
