10 years later

“Seth,” I screamed . We named our first child and first son Seth.

He’s more like his father but also has Seth MacFarlane’s funny attitude.

He’s like the mixture of Eric and Seth .

“Mommy, when is daddy coming home it’s Christmas” he said.

I looked at my 7 year old boy. He’s the carbon copy of Eric .

“Very soon baby and come help mummy in the kitchen”.

After an hour in the kitchen, and setting everything up I heard the four openings.

I rushed and saw Eric as I ran and hugged him, taking his coat off him.

“How was work?”

Before he could answer Seth rushed and jumped on Eric’s body as Eric carried him in his arms.

“That’s my big boy”

“When I grow up daddy I want to be like you”

“You’ll even become better”

“What about me?” I asked

“Mummy you’re to soft and fragile ”

“Wait what”

Eric and Seth burst out laughing and I couldn’t help but join in.

After dinner we made our way to the Christmas tree.

“So what do you want for Christmas so that Santa will get it for you?” I asked.

As Eric took his phone ready to get whatever our little baby says.

“I want a baby sister”

Eric choked on the apple juice he was drinking as I stared at Seth in shock .

“I always want a sister that I can protect so no one will come or hurt her”.

“Then you get it,” Eric says, giving me a wink.

“We’ll just have to make mummy ready for bed so we’ll start with the process ” he said, giving me a smirk.

“What process ”

After we finished opening the present and tucking Seth to sleep Eric carried me to our room as he kissed me passionately.

At this moment I knew everything was going to be okay. Having a lovely husband and our son was the best thing in my life.
