I held Davey’s hand as we came down from the car.
Finally, we are home agasin… Not in the hospital anymore or the police station.
Mrs Cooper and the twins followed behind as we all got into the house.
“Ah! Home sweet home!” I breathed in, so relieved as I led Davey to a couch.
He sat and smiled up at me. “You are an angel.” He said and k blushed.
I turned around as soon as I heard foot steps from the stairs.
I looked up and saw Cassie approaching.
I smiled. Just what I needed.
“Davey… Thank goodness you are back! I missed you!” She ranted, hurrying toward Davey.
As soon as she made to pass me by, I stuck out my foot and tripped her.
“Ouch!” She shouted as she fell and landed on the ground with her face.
She gasped and glared up at me. I folded my arms and glared back at her. “How does that feels? Painful?” I asked and watched bl©©d drip down her nose.
She wiped it angrily and stood up on her feet. “What was the meaning of that? Why do everyone keep staring at me! ” She yelled, looking at everyone.
” You bch… ” Tess hissed out the words and made for her but I held her back. “Let me deal with her.” I said, looking at Cassie who scoffed.
“Deal with who? You had better watch your tongue!! ” She yelled at me and I smiled.
I moved closer to her and $lapped her hard in the face.
Cassie gasped again and snapped back to look at me. “What??” She raised her hand to $lap me back but I was so ready for her.
Before she could bring down her hand, I moved away and grabbed her hair from behind.
She screamed and tried to attack me but expertly, I kicked her legs making her fall on on her knees and held her hair tightly.
“Let go of me?!” She screamed.
“I will ask you this one time Cassandra. Are you pregnant?” I asked and she scoffed with pain.
” Of course… Ouch!! ” She screamed as I pulled her hair tighter. “Okay! Okay… Fine!! I’m not!” She cried. “Just let me go!”, She cried again and Jess and Tess fell off laughing.
” Wow… She begged!” Tess laughed out loud.
Davey sighed and stood up, coming nearer and hugged me from behind.
“That’s enough darling. Let her go.” He whispered and I shook me head, still holding on to Cassie.
“I’m not gonna let her go until I deal with her!” I kicked her in the stomach and she screamed, rattling around the floor.
I made to go after her but Davey held me back and I struggled against him. “Davey.. please..!!”
“It’s enough!!” Davey ordered. ” You are carrying my child. Don’t hurt it.” He said again.
Mrs Cooper walked over to Cassie who was still panting on the floor. “If you know what’s really good for you my dear…. pack your filthy things and run for your life else I’m gonna get the police right now!! ” Mrs Cooper yelled.
” Hell no mom. Hold on. She’s going no where. I’m calling the police. She’s got to write an understatement that steak never gonna trouble this family ever again. ” Jess said and everyone agreed.
” I’m not done with you yet for trying to destroy my home! Don’t ever cross paths with me in your life!” I yelled at Cassie as Davey led me upstairs.

Twenty minutes later after Cassie was taken away by the police,The twins and I gathered up at the kitchen to make lunch.
“Wow. Marianne… I must confess that you are a super woman!” Tess gasped and I laughed.
” I had to teach her a lesson. She’s so lucky Davey intervened. I would have dealt so much with her. What a wtch!” I said..
” Davey must be so lucky to have you ” Jess sighed and I shrugged.
We all laughed and continued cooking.
?? Nine months later ??
It was a funny story when I went into labour months later and had to deliver my baby at home.
It started when I woke up that morning a and felt a sharp pain under my stomach.
I stared and lifted my heavy self off the bed.
Almost immediately,Davey jumped up from sleep and held my hands.
Davey ..he’s been my angel and my guide,always there for me through the months of being uncomfortable and touchy.
I smiled as he held my hand getting up. “I think I wanna use the bathroom.” I said softly and he escorted me.
I got into the bathroom but couldn’t do anything as the pain begin to increase.
I screamed out loud and held Davey tightly. “Davey. …I think…it’s the baby!”
“Oh?? G©sh…I thought the doctor said…oh my God..” Davey said and led me back into the bedroom.
The door bursted open and Jess rushed in. “Marianne..I heard you scream. Is it time??” Jess asked impatiently and I smiled weakly trying to fight back pains but it was unbearable.
I screamed out again.
“Quickly I’m gonna get the things we need. I’ve prepared for this cos I knew better!” Jess said hurriedly and ran out of the room.
Many minutes later,the cry of my first baby was heard.
A bouncing baby girl who took after the twins.
Two hours later after delivery, the room began to fill up with friends and family.
My grandma also was around and I was so excited to see her after a long time.
Davey sat beside me on the bed, looking so proud.
“Oh my….. she looks like us.” Jess sighed softly carrying the new baby.
“I was thinking we should name her after you Jess” Mr Cooper said and Tess protested immediately.
” That’s unacceptable! It should be JessTess then. ” She said and everyone laughed.
” That’s an awful name.” Taylor added and laughed.
I only smiled and rested my head on Davey’s arm watching everyone.
The new maid Davey got came into the room to announce another arrival of a visitor.
“Who’s it?” I wondered cos everyone I knew would come visiting was already inside.
“Let them in, Miriam.” Davey said and she left.
Minutes later,the door opened and I looked up as soon as the visitor came.
I gasped on seeing who it was.
Cassandra…and her stomach was big!
She’s pregnant… heavily pregnant.
Davey stood up and just then, someone else came in, putting his hand around Cassandra and smiling.
I gasped again.
Robert???
He laughed. “Relax guys. This is not another prank. This time around,this woman and this unborn child here is mine.
We come in peace to celebrate with you guys.” Robert said and smiled genuinely.
Wow!
Robert and Marianne…married??
Am i dreaming??
The two game masters are married??
What a world!!
