It was really hard to believe but it was true.
Robert and Cassie are together now and she’s heavily pregnant!
I finally smiled and stood up to hug her.
I was dmn so excited.
It was unbelievable that my enemies could turn back to be my friends.

An hour later,after everyone left, Cassie and Robert stayed back with Davey and I.
“I know I messed up big time, Marianne.
Now I know it never pays to be the bad guy. I’m not worthy to tell you to forgive me but please,can you?” Robert asked and I smiled.
“It’s all in the past now,Robbie. Look,let’s leave everything behind us and move on.
It’s no big deal. I already forgave you guys before now.” I said softly and looked at Cassie.
She quickly averted her eyes and I smiled.
“Let’s get some drinks downstairs.” Davey said and left with Robbie, leaving us all alone.
Cassie sighed and looked at me. “Look..I know I’m not worthy to say sorry…”
“I’m sorry too.” I cut her short with a smile.
“I’m the one who’s supposed to be sorry for trying to destroy your marriage with Davey. I feel.so ashamed Mari. I feel so dirty. I’m sorry.” Cassie wept and we both hugged.
Taylor came in, cradling my baby in her arms. “Okay. What’s going on here? Some happy reunion??”
Cassie and I laughed and disengaged.
“She’s sleeping.” Taylor whispered and placed the baby in her cot.
“So pretty. What name did you decide on?” Cassie asked and I smiled sweetly at my sleeping beauty.
“Cherry.” I replied.
“Wow! Awesome!” Cassie and Taylor sighed.
“You can say that again.”I replied.
“Well well…I’ve got a surprise for you Marianne.
“I’m getting married next month!” Taylor announced and I gasped.
“Wait a minute! Oh my God!! You crazy chick!” I laughed and hugged her tightly, jumping to my feet.
“You are getting married?” Cassie asked a smile.
Taylor rolled her eyes before answering. “Oh yeah and I hope some home breakers won’t cross paths with me cos they are gonna regre…”
“Tay!” I chided her before she could complete her statement.
I knew she was talking to Cassie.
Cassie smiled and bowed her head. “I’m sorry.” She mumbled.
“Oh you should be. You are so lucky you did not even die of the guilt.” Taylor threw at Cassie and she closed her eyes while I gasped.
“What’s wrong with you? That’s enough!!” I exclaimed.
“Whatever.” She replied and went silent.
I sighed again and looked at Cassie. “Taylor is a good chick. Trust me. You are gonna love her when you get to know her.” I said with a smile and Cassie smiled back.
“I can’t wait.” Cassie replied while Taylor only rolled her eyes again.

“He’s got the nerve to bring in a woman into my brother’s house!” Tess yelled as they sat in the park, drinking soda.
They already had too much to drink and unknown to them,they were becoming tipsy.
“Did you see that look on his face when he put his arm around her. G©sh …that ba$tard!” Jess added, gulping down her drink furiously.
“He only used us sis. That imp! And now he’s gonna have a baby! I pray the baby grows up to kill him!!” Tess cried out and fell off laughing.
Jess laughed too and people began to glare at them.
“Come on. Let’s go back home. Marianne needs us.” Jess said and belched.
“Huh? To the house? When that imp is still there? I’m not going!” Tess stated.
“You still love him don’t you?” Jess asked.
“Love sucks!… what’s wrong with me? Hey Jess…you are smiling stupidly. Stop it.” Tess mumbled.
Jess laughed and tried getting up only to fall back on the bench.
“You are drunk,girl!” Tess mocked and got up to.
She fell back on the bench and Jess returned the laughter.
“Oh shit!” Jess wailed and laughed again.
People had began to look at them and laughing.
Two guys walked up to them and shook their heads as they glared down at them.
“You Austin,carry this while I carry that.” One of them said and carried the girls while they kept on laughing, oblivious of the cute twins carrying them to their cars!??

Taylor’s wedding day came, bright and clear.
She got married to a cute doctor who helped Cassie in delivering her baby.
Yes… Cassie gave birth to her baby girl in Taylor’s fiancee’s hospital before Taylor’s wedding.
It was a blast!
The reception was a grand one.
Robert and Davey became best of friends.
They became tight family friends.
Two weeks after Taylor’s wedding,the three ladies-now beat friends sat in Marianne’s room talking and laughing.
“I can’t wait to have my own baby too. I would like a boy really.”Taylor said.
“Of course you will. Trust me ” Cassie laughed.
Just then,the door opened and Mrs Cooper walked in, looking exhausted.
“Mother! Are you okay?” Marianne asked, alarmed.
“How can I be okay when Jess and Tess won’t stop dating those twin guys?
Twin girls dating twins guys? Where is it done!!” Mrs Cooper wailed.
Marianne and the two others laughed.
“Mom…just let them have fun. They’ve been heartbroken too.” Marianne said and Mrs Cooper sighed again.
The house maid brought little Cherry to her mom and when Marianne carried her baby in her tender hands,her mind travelled back to the first time…when everything started.
Her mind did a little flash back to the time she thought she was meeting Davey for the first time not knowing they had been together in the past.
Her mind travelled to the time they fought and quarrelled over little things.
Then her mind travelled to the time Robert and Cassie were trying everything to break them apart.
And now….the unbelievable part…her enemies suddenly turned back to be her friends!!?
She sighed, looking lovingly at her baby.
Now she’s got all she wanted in life.
A happy home with a handsome husband who cares a lot,a beautiful baby and loving in laws who treat her like she was their own daughter.
What else would someone wish for?
“Marianne….you are crying.” Taylor said softly.
“Is she?” Mrs Cooper asked.
“Yeah. ” Cassie replied.
Marianne smiled and shook her head. “I’m not crying guys. These are tears of joy. I’m just too excited.” Marianne said and everyone else smiled.
“Yeah… everything is in the past now. The future matters now.” Mrs Cooper said, picking up little Cherry.
Marianne nodded. Yes,the future.
She looked forward to the future cos sitting right there,she knew and could feel it that the future is gonna be brighter and better.
