“Show yourself” l said as l terrible in fear.
“Give me your blood” Give me your blood” the voice kept screaming.
This must be an illusion.
The voice got louder
Give me your blood” it kept screaming and l got a glimpse of an image surrounding me.
Aaaaaaaah! I screamed and covered my ears.
“Give me your blood” give me your blood” it screamed for the last time and everywhere fell silent.
I slumped to the floor as my breathing became heavier.
It’s an illusion.
My goodness! It’s just few minutes remaining.
I need to get out of this place since my powers don’t work here.
How do l get out?
Where am l actually?
I saw an opening and rushed in an attempt to take a peep but it closed up immediately with a bang.
I stepped back in fear and turned around and almost fainted at the sight in front of me.
A python?
I recalled what happened the order day when l fell into a python’s den.
It kept glaring at me.
It was so huge, l will have to stop thinking about how huge it is else l will die before it attacks me.
I opened my palm and the the sword Lonrenzo gave me appeared.
What Finn said earlier kept playing in my mind”Never say you can’t, You can do it.”
“You can do it Clarissa” l encouraged myself.
I waited for it to make the first move but it kept glaring at me.
I adjusted and gave it a reasonable amount of distance.
It started coming towards me and l started running.
I saw an opening and ran facing that direction.
It kept chasing after me.
I got to the opening and saw l could pass through it.
Finally l said and fled.
To my surprise is kept running after me.
I kept running panting heavily.
I held the sword firmly and threw it at it.
It groaned and kept chasing after me.
I opened my hands and the sword came back to me.
I kept running and panting heavily.
What should l do?
It’s 5 minutes remaining.
I stared at my necklace.
Lonrenzo! Lonrenzo! l called as l kept running, l don’t think l keep up anymore.
Lonrenzo! Please help me l said and slumped to the floor.
With the last strength in me, l threw the sword and it hit it right in the head.
It groaned loud in pains but kept crawling towards me.
I shrieked in fear and closed my eyes but opened them immediately as l heard a loud thud.
It dropped on the floor dead.
I sighed in relief opened my palm and my sword came back to me.
2mintues left and l will be Stucked here.
I got up quickly, dusted my uniform,l have lost my backpack.
The python started to fade off as it turned to ashes and the ashes turned to a pearl.
Wow! I exclaimed and took the pearl and that was it l found myself in the school compound.

I gasped in shock and used my palm to cover my mouth as l saw miss Chloe in the pole of her blood.
“Miss Chloe” l called as tears flowed down my cheeks.
“Miss Chloe, l called and tapped her slightly.
“Aries l………..will …die …now, Clarissa she……is……. the……..”
“The what?”
“The……… girl…….. with……” She said and gasped.
“Hold on miss Chloe” l said and sobbed.
“Miss Chloe! Miss Chloe! Miss Chloe!” I screamed.
“She is dead” The martial arts teacher said as she walked in.
“The school must not know about this now, we have to wait for the treasure hunt to be over” she said.
“What happened to her?”
“She was under an oath, and she failed.”
“What oath? How come you know about it?”
“I don’t know why she died Aries, l only know that witches who die like this were under an oath and failed to carry out their promise” she explained.
“Stop crying Aries, let’s freeze her body” she said.
I closed my eyes and we joined hands together.
We chanted incantations and her body was frozen.
“Inform the council of witches, the school, no one in the school premises must know about this for now, do you understand miss Aries?”
“Yes ma’am” l replied.
What miss Chloe said kept playing in my head.
Clarissa she is the girl with the……..
With what?
I need to find out everything about Clarissa and how she is connected to miss Chloe’s death.
Am going to destroy you Clarissa.

I tried using my mind to communicate with Finn but l don’t think it’s working.
Damnit! I need to leave this place.
There are lots of things l need to find out.
“Don’t even think about it” master said as he appeared in front of me.
“Master” l called and bowed.
“Your principal is dead!” Master said and my eyes widened.
“What? How did it happen?” I asked.
“Miss Chloe was under an oath, like l know witches who died that way failed to keep to an oath.
But we still have to investigate her death, and find out what oath she sworn and to whom she sworn the oath.”
“The minister of finance house is in choas and great mourning, your father said you should come to the palace, don’t even think about declining” master added.
“But l don’t want to go to the palace” l protested.
“You must go meet the emperor and that’s final.”
“The state perspector will be coming also, you know what to do Lonrenzo.”
“Yes master.”
“Good,her third seal must not be broken, l repeat her third seal must not be broken Lonrenzo, stay away from her.”
“I want you to find all evidence that the state perspector is behind the recent happenings, don’t be rash and don’t fight with him.”
“Yes master” l replied.
“And one more thing! Clarissa found the pearl.”
“What pearl master.”
“The pythons pearl, from now on she will be more powerful and can go berserk if she doesn’t control her powers and most importantly, when she loss control of her powers she might forget the faces of her loved ones and you know what that means.
She is getting dangerous by the day Lonrenzo.
Kill her.
Kill her Lonrenzo.”
