“Am scared Maya, l had a dream and you know my dreams always come to pass” Skylar said.
“What did you dream about?” Maya asked curiously.
“Clarissa l think she is in danger” l said and Maya hissed loudly.
“What’s wrong Maya?” I asked in disbelief.
“It’s a good thing, she is in danger alone,this time around she didn’t drag anyone along with her” Maya said.
“My goodness! Maya is this you, are you being manipulated or something?” I asked as l stared hard at her.
“Am not being manipulated okay!
“For real and you are acting like this?”
“The earlier you realize she is the cause of all our problems the better” Maya said.
“Who knows how uncle Noah is faring,l pray he stays strong for us, all he cares about is Clarissa! Clarissa! Clarissa” Maya said.
“It’s useless battling words with you,but please Maya this is not who you are.
Having this kind of mindset can let you be easily manipulated by those who wants to hurt Clarissa, l will not forgive you if you are a part of anything that might happen to her.”
“Yeah! Yeah! Whatever!” Maya said and rolled her eyes.
The door opened and Dreyfus walked in.
“Dreyfus!” l called happily and ran to meet him.
I was surprised as he engulfed me in a hug.
“I missed you Ariana” he whispered and hugged me tightly.
Ariana?
“How are you doing?” Dreyfus asked Maya.
“Am fine” Maya replied.
“You girls are looking good, am happy to see the both of you but you have to help us with something important” he said.
“What happened?” Skylar asked.
“Yes, how may we be of help?” Maya asked.
“It’s Clarissa” Dreyfus said and Maya sighed.
“What happened to Clarissa?”Skylar asked anxiously.
“We need a plan to rescue Clarissa, she is in the underground prison in the prime ministers Manor” Dreyfus said.
“What!” The twins exclaimed in unison.
“The underground prison?” We said again in unison.
“Yes” Dreyfus replied simply.
“What happened? Who could be so inhumane to keep her there?” Skylar asked.
“Why won’t they keep her there when she can’t cease to cause trouble?” Maya said and Dreyfus gasped in surprise.
“Maya! I called in disbelief.
“Skylar come with me” Dreyfus said.
“What about me?” Maya asked.
“We won’t be needing you” Dreyfus replied.
“Ari….. sorry Skylar.”
“Who is Ariana and why do you always mistake me to her, do we look alike?” Skylar asked.
“We can’t discuss it now Skylar, we have a more important matter at hand.”
“You were once a maid in the prime ministers Manor so you are gonna help us with just one thing.”
“What’s it?”
“Sneak into the Manor and poison the Madam’s drink.”
“What?”
“How do l do that?” I asked worriedly.
“Don’t be afraid, it’s not gonna kill her, it’s only gonna make her say and do whatever l want for the meantime.
In other words the poison is gonna manipulate her into doing things l want her to do.”
“When do l leave?”
“Now” he said.
“Now?”
“Yes” he replied.
“This is gonna be difficult” l said.
“Yes but we have to do this to save Clarissa, no matter how powerful one his they can’t survive the underground prison for too long.”
“What are your plans?”
“Don’t worry about that, take this powder and add it to her meal or drink, make sure you do it appropriately and watch her eat or drink it, do you understand?”
“Yes, l understand.”
“You must not fail Skylar and please be safe,we are gonna use the mind communication, so be at alert, when you are in danger you can call for help through the mind connection.”
“I will” l said.
“What about my sister?”
“Am gonna tell the firmament master to have her grounded,she is not in a right state of mind and can be easily manipulated.”
“Thanks Dreyfus.”
“You are welcome Ariana, please be safe l will leave now” he said and to my surprise he hugged me again.
“Remember to be safe” he said and disappeared.
I took the powder and changed to my wolf form in order to get there on time.
I kept running but suddenly someone blocked my path.
I knew her scent immediately.
“Maya, what are you doing here? Why are you blocking my path?”
“I can’t let you to go rescue Clarissa” she said and $tabbed me with a knife.
“Am sorry sister” she said as l shapeshift to my human form.
“Help me Dreyfus l said in my mind as l fell unconscious.
