“Master” l called and bowed slightly.
“Did you get the ring?”
“Yes master” l replied and recalled how l got the ring.
“How did you get it so easily?”master asked.
“I requested for it and he gave it willingly and l exchanged it, l returned the fake you gave me to him” l said.
“That was a smart move” master said.
“This ring lies all his black magic, this will be our first evidence against him.”
“You have done well Lonrenzo,now l want you and Dreyfus to enter into the state perspector’s Manor, you are going to get the Northern prince on our side.”
“How do l do that master?”
“The northern prince, is currently in the care of the state perspector, he refused to take the prince to our clan for reasons l know about, but we have to be fast about this, the emperor trust him so much and that’s disheartening.”
“You and Dreyfus are going to enter the the state perspector’s camp tonight, and make sure you bring the northern prince back with you.
Be very careful, the state perspector’s soldiers are trained with black magic and they are as dangerous as their master.”
“Yes master.”
“How did Clarissa get the magic turtle Lonrenzo?”master asked.
“I really don’t know” l lied.
“She won the treasure hunt for finding such powerful treasure.”
“Wow! Clarissa won the treasure hunt?”l asked in disbelief.
“Yes she won, the magic turtle was the best treasure that was found.” Master replied.
“What about the pythons pearl?”l asked.
“The pythons pearl is not an ordinary treasure Lonrenzo, it stays with the person who finds it.”
“Does that mean the python pearl is inside Clarissa’s body?”l asked.
“Yes, somewhere in her body and it’s gonna remain there, she is it’s master.”
“She has three seals remaining, she can be able to live a peaceful life if those remaining seals are not broken but if they are broken, then she has to be killed.” Master said.
“I will make sure her other seals do not get broken master, that way she can live peacefully.”
“Go find Dreyfus, before you leave for the mission, transfer some energy into Dreyfus body for safety.”
“Yes master” l replied.
“Lonrenzo, no matter what happens in the future, you are Dreyfus can’t be enemies, do you understand me?”
“Yes master, but why are you saying so?”
“There are some things that should be left unsaid Lonrenzo, always remember what l told you today, whatever happens you and Dreyfus can’t be enemies.”
“Yes master.”
“Where is Skylar and Maya?” Master asked.
“They are doing fine but they keep saying they want to go home, they are worried about their uncle.”
“Their uncle?”
“Hahahaha! Hahahaha! Hahahaha!” Master laughed
“Master why are you laughing?”
“This is hilarious, those kids don’t know who their uncle really is, if they knew they won’t be worried.”
“There uncle is a mortal who picked them up when they were little and have been taking care of them” l said.
“You are still naive Lonrenzo, l bet Dreyfus knows already.”
“Knows what?”
“Who their uncle really is.”

I ran home happily.
Uncle Noah! Uncle Noah! I called happily as l got close to the house.
“Uncle Noah! I called as l got to the house.
The house was unusually quiet and the door was locked.
I walked to the corner of the house and saw all our belongings and uncle Noah was at the side of the house shivering terribly.
Uncle Noah! I called and ran to meet him.
He was shivering terribly and gnashing his teeth.
“What happened uncle?Why are you here and shivering badly? Where is Maya and Skylar? Why are our belongings outside?”
“Uncle talk to me, what happened to you?l asked as tears started to fall from my eyes.
“We …..have…. been…….. thrown out” he managed to say through greethed teeth .
“What! Why?”
“Maya and Skylar,they gone missing”he said.
“What? Maya gone missing?”
“Am sorry uncle, l should never have gone to the treasure hunt like you said.
l would have helped in doing the chores and found a way to look for Maya and Skylar, am sorry uncle.”
“I will go beg the prime minister to take us back.”
“No……clar …issa….. it’s useless.”
“No l will go beg him, please uncle let me go beg him, where do we go from here? We don’t have anywhere to go!”l said.
I was really happy that l won the treasure hunt but it’s all useless now.
“Clari..ssa …you ……won ….the. … treasure. ….. hunt, that’s…. great…… come. .. here my.. child” he said and l engulfed him in a hug.
“You. ….did …….great….. Clarissa, Never. ….. you call your… achievement…… useless,do. …..you….. understand?”
“Yes uncle.”
“Wow! Wow! Wow! Look what we have here! I feel like crying” she said and faked tears.
“Baby your father finally threw them out, this is awesome” she said and pecked Lindon on the cheek.
“Let’s go Aries” Lindon said.
I scoffed and rolled my eyes.
“Babe, did you see that, she rolled her eyes at me” Aries said.
“Let’s go Aries, please” Lindon said.
“Why are you siding with her? Am gonna teach her a lesson” she said.
“Stop it Aries” Lindon yelled but it was too late,a heavy wind sent uncle Noah flying and he hit his head hard on a stone.
