“Be fast Dreyfus” l said impatiently.
“Am coming” he said.
“Today am acting as the crown prince that l really am.”
“I don’t want my father to know about this, you are gonna deguise as my personal bodyguard.”
“Finn will send the letter to the prime minister, telling him am coming to visit.”
“I will tell a servant to get me a robe, but l only have a problem.”
“What problem?” Dreyfus asked.
“I don’t want Clarissa to know that am the crown prince” l said.
“How is that a problem?She is gonna know sooner or later” Dreyfus said.
“She can’t find out now, l don’t want her to know.”
“So what are we gonna do?she is definitely gonna find out this time” Dreyfus said.
“Let’s go” l said.
“Wait! Dreyfus said and closed his eyes.
“What is it?” I asked.
“Skylar she is in trouble”Dreyfus said.
“Fuck!” I cussed.
“What do we do now?we are running out of time, Finn will have delivered the message already.”
“She has an important role to play, we have to help her” Dreyfus said.
“Off course we will help her” l said.
“Let’s go” Dreyfus said.
“To where?”l asked.
“I know where she is, let’s go” he said and held my hands and we teleported.
“Where is this place?”l asked as we got to a bush path.
“I don’t know, but l can sense she is here” Dreyfus said.
We kept walking ahead and saw a building, thick smoke were coming out from inside.
Why is there a building here? Where exactly is this place?
“She is in there” Dreyfus said.
“That building?”l asked.
“Yes” Dreyfus replied.
We walked towards the building and the smoke thickened.
“Do you notice that the more close we get the thicker the smoke?” I asked Dreyfus.
“Yes let’s hurry” Dreyfus said and held my hands and we teleported.
I used my palms to cover my nose as we got inside by the building.
The place was dead silent and there was no smoke or whatever but the place was smelling terribly.
Dreyfus stared at me in disbelief.
I knew he was wondering why we weren’t seeing any smoke.
“Where is she?” I asked Dreyfus.
“Immediately we got here, l stopped sensing get” he said.
“This simply means she is here” l said and Dreyfus nodded in agreement.
The doors opened and closed itself severally leaving a terrible sound.
“Be prepared, this place is dangerous” l said.
“Yh!” Dreyfus said.
We walked towards the door and it opened authomatically.
And closed itself immediately we entered.
The place was so dark that l couldn’t even see Dreyfus.
We had to hold until each other.
Hmm! Aaaah! We heard someone whimpering.
We walked slowly in that direction, it was so dark that we stumbled severally.
We got to a place filled with light.
And we saw Skylar.
She was whimpering and breathing heavily.
Dreyfus took his hand from mine in an attempt to help the Skylar but l held him back.
“She is in pains, let’s help her quickly” Dreyfus said.
“They are playing mind games with you Dreyfus l don’t think this is Skylar” l said.
“Help me Dreyfus!” She whispered.
“Don’t!” I told Dreyfus.
“Wait here, l will help her instead” l said to Dreyfus and he nodded.
I walked up to her and stared into her eyes.
I got up immediately.
“She is a fake” l said and before l could say more she disappeared.
“Dreyfus smacked his forehead aggressively.”
“How did she end up here? someone did this to lead us here on purpose” Dreyfus said.
“Yes!We were being led here through Skylar.”
I said.
Another door opened by itself, and the room glowed brightly.
We walked inside the room and a light shone on us.
“What was that for?” I asked in surprise.
We saw a large book on the table.
It was tittled “Phoenix high school”
“Phoenix high school!” Dreyfus and l said in unison.
“A book tittled Phoenix high school!
This is unbelievable.
The book was filled with dust.
I used my hand to wipe it .
I tried to open it but it didn’t bulge.
Dreyfus tried too but it didn’t open.
“Stop!” We heard a voice and in a blink of an eye the book disappeared.
“What?” I and Dreyfus said in unison.
“Get the book Dreyfus” l said as l saw it reappear and disappeared.
“That’s not why we are here” Dreyfus said.
“Yes but we can’t leave that book behind” l said and ran after the book as it kept reappearing and disappearing.

Lonrenzo ran after the book and l saw a door open by itself and suddenly l could sense Skylar again.
She must be in there l said and entered the room.
I could hear someone whimpering.
I traced the sound slowly.
“Maya!”I called in surprise as l got close to her.
“What are you doing here?how did you get here? I asked.
“Please help me” she whimpered.
“Where is Skylar? What happened?” I asked instead.
“Over there” she replied and pointed to a direction.
I stared stupidly at the place she pointed and then l remembered, she might be a fake.
Like l thought something hits me suddenly and l used my back to hit the wall.
She is a fake.
I heard my arms as blood gushed out.
“Who are you?” I asked the so called Maya.
“Am Maya” she said and smiled.
“It’s just few seconds and Skylar will be dead” she said.
“What? Where is she you devil? Where is she? I yelled.
“Stop screaming or you are gonna awaken some things you won’t like to see” she said.
“Who exactly are you?” I asked and she laughs.
“Am Maya” she replied.
“You are not Maya, where is Maya? So you have been a fake all this while, where is the real Maya?” I asked.
“I said shut up” she said and stretch out her hand to me and l started choking.
I opened my palms and snakes started crawling out from every corner of the room.
“What are you doing?” She asked and released me.
I used that as an opportunity and hurried to the direction she pointed earlier.
“Stop right there” she said but couldn’t step an inch because of the snakes.
I got in there and heard someone whimpering.
Who knows what is in there this time.
I traced the sound and saw Skylar.
I Rushed up to meet her immediately.
she was gasping for air, she was stabbed severally and bleeding badly.
Why isn’t her injuries healing?
What if she is fake?
“Skylar” l called.
“Dreyfus, she is not Maya, find my sister” she said.
“Skylar, who did this to you? Who did this to you?” I asked angrily.
“Find my sister” she said and gasped for air.
“Hold on! Hold on okay! I said made her sit.
I sat behind her and transfered some energy to her.
“Please find my sister”
“Please find my sister” she said and slumped and l held her quickly.
Lonrenzo came running in with the book in his hand.
“You found her” he said as he stared at Skylar.
I kept mute cause words can’t describe how l feel at this moment seeing Ariana like this and not being able to protect her.
Lonrenzo touched her body and shaked his head.
He checked her pulse and shaked his head again.
“What is it Lonrenzo?”l asked scared.
“She is dead!”
“What?”
“She is dead Dreyfus.”
