Chapter 10.

Xan made a stop at the door, placing one arm to lay on it.

Then, He stared at his polished shoes, sighing.

” Vixen. You can’t bring Amy into our home. It would become a bomb of disaster” Xan said, easily.

” Ha. That would be fun. I would love to see that disaster, xan. Show me.” Vixen muttered, stepping forward.

” You don’t understand what i mean, vixen. Amy won’t last with you if she comes over.”

” Are you saying that…you would steal her from me?…Huh? Well, I’d like to watch you take that step” Vixen grinned.

Xan turned around, filling his pocket with his hands. There was an evil smirk signature on his cheek.

” I thought you were the smart one to have guessed what i meant. But you are suddenly a foo!.” Xan muttered.

Vixen flared up immediately, grabbing xan by his shirt collar and pinning him to the wall of the next room.

” How dare you refer me as a foo!. What are you, a coward?!” Vixen gritted, breathing like a suffocated patient.

Xan remained calm, unruffled by his actions. He crossed his arm, scoffing.

” Let make this more simple, brother. You can bring Amy into our home only in one condition.”

Vixen threw xan a dirty glare. He picked Xan’s front hair away from his eye and looked at him more properly.

” I don’t receive conditions when the home is mine as well. Amy is coming down here, like it or not” He said, letting go of his shirt.

Xan simply adjusted his necktie.

” Amy wouldn’t come over if she hears that I also accommodate the house.”

” Oh…is that so?”

” Well, she thinks I’m a monster. she hates me now so i don’t wanna care if she comes or not.”

Vixen placed one arm on his shoulder, grinning darkly.

” We’ve discussed the issue many times and i was able to influence her again. She has agreed, expect her tomorrow night”

” Why not tonight instead?” Xan grinned with a smirk.

Vixen stared at him for a while with a complete blank expression.

He began to step towards the door to pull it open but Xan’s voice interrupted him again.

” Vixen.”

He stopped, holding tight to the knob.

“i know you are bringing amy into our home just to make me more jealous. Yes I’d be…cus i still like her. But there’s going to be another turn around for me while you achieve your plans.”

” Well nonetheless of the turnaround Xan, i still end up arriving as the winner at the end of my revenge” Vixen laughed and stepped out, slamming the door.

XAN’S MANSION

That Night….

The chaffeur got the door open and vixen stepped into the mansion, getting greetings from the lines of workers.

The maids took his cross bag while they left him to go up to his room.

All vixen wanted to do that night was to plan about Amy’s coming. He wanted to make sure she felt welcomed in their large home.

As he strode up the stairs, Sean approached him with too many good intentions.

” G..good evening boss!.” He greeted with a slight bow, making vixen stop and turn halfway in the stairs.

” Why are you greeting me today, exception of other days we’ve met?” He asked, crossing his arm.

” I’m sorry about that, sir. Actually, i have something very important to tell you.” Sean said, fiddling with his phone.

Vixen stared at the phone in his hand and returned to gaze at him.

” What is it about?”

” Should we discuss this out here because i..i..think its quite private…”

” Geez, just Go on. You have three minute to talk out your trash cus i got other things to do.” Vixen said leaning on the stairs rail.

” Thank you. Thank you!” Sean bowed. He cleared his throat and looked around before he began;

” It’s actually about what happened five night ago. I’ve been feeling very uneasy about the whole thing.”

” About what?. What happened five night ago?” He asked, raising his brows.

” The incident which you asked me to kidnap amy and you made me lie to her that it was xan…”

” Shss..Id!ot!” vixen yelled, running down the stairs. He stopped to give sean a big aching knock.

” Are you crazy?!. How can you say that too loud!!. What if…” He stopped to look around, left and right at both sides.

Hopefully, no one was nearby. They were the only ones present in the livingroom.

He scoffed,

” So?. If you feel guilty about what happened how’s that my business?”.

” I don’t like it that my boss is very unhappy. I just want to end this guilt I’m feeling and just tell him the…”

Vixen grabbed his ears painfully and sean found himself wincing and begging.

“Listen…and just LISTEN with wide ears… my plan is to torture xan and make him feel miserable for the rest of his life, so you dare not indulge into this or try to reveal this to anyone. Understand?!”

” But.., sir!”

” if this plan get spilled, just know you are seriously done with!. Like…why the fk I’m i speaking with you!. Just get your stinky bvtt lost!”

” This is not the best thing to do, sir!. But I’ll kindly take my leave.” He said bowing, and then he left immediately.

Vixen turned around and tugged his hair, scoffing.

” I love my brother just like anyone else. No one understands how i feel because they think I’m the bad one. I’m only doing this to unleash my pain towards xan.” He sneered before he started to poll up the stairs.

Outside the building…

Sean walked out with his phone and leaned on his car, sighing with relief.

He had just taken a step that he had been scared to do. He stared at his screen with a satisfied look in his face.

He had made a record of vixen’s conversation all through the whole time they were speaking.

He was ready to show Amy this voice information as a proof for her to believe xan was innocent and be totally free.

He knew his boss would be glad, very glad if amy had realised it herself what vixen was planning all along.

Tonight was going to be a judgment day between the two brothers and he knew xan would win this time.

He opened the door to the car and got in, driving out of the compound in a dashing speed.

AMY’S APARTMENT

As soon as vixen got to Amy’s front yard, he didn’t want to waste any more time of his time.

Getting the voice message to amy was his last life at that moment. He could even move faster than time.

He flew out of the car and began to run across the road, towards her apartment.

He saw the light inside the room was still blinking behind the curtains which meant she was still awake.

He pulled her door open in a lightening speed, rushing in with the same manner.

Amy sprang up from the sofa in the livingroom, staring at him with complete disbelief.

” Amy..” He began to step towards her.

Amy quickly ran and meekly hid between the tables shrieking with so much fear.

” W..what are you doing here. Get away or I’ll call the police!” She yelled, breathing faster.

” I’m not here to hurt you Amy. I’m here to show you something.” He calmly spoke to her.

” I..i..don’t want to see anything!. Just go away if you don’t want to suffer!!” She screamed, dragging the tables and chair noisily.

Sean rested his palm on the table, stopping her actions.

” What is just wrong with you. At least try to listen to me for once!!” He yelled.

Amy picked up her mopstick, shoving it towards the direction to back him off.

” Stay away!. I know you want to hurt me. I know you planned to fool me like how you did before!”

Sean scattered the tables, walking towards her direction with a mon$ter like face.

She stepped back with fear, she arrived at the champagne table and sweeped her hand on the surface to search for her phone.

” Today. Like it or not, you’ll return back to your senses. You must listen and hear me out!” Sean said, jotting towards her.

Amy bit her lower lips, sobbing silently. She luckily found her phone and quickly dragged her fingers to the call logs.

She tapped on Vixen number and set it on an emergency call.

Sean stopped infront of her and brought out his phone, raising it high for her to see.

” Look Amy, I have found a proof. This proof will let you know that xan is innocent.”

” No!. I don’t want to believe any proof!. Any proof you show is all a lie!. Xan is not innocent”

” Okay fine, i know i betrayed, xan my boss. But this time, I’m not here to fool anyone. You need to listen to this!”

” Stay away!!” Amy used her mop to kick his phone away.

Sean gritted his teeth with anger. He leaned down to search for his phone.

He ran back to pick amy up on his shoulder.

” Stop, keep me down!!. Hey, drop me at once!” Amy screamed, wiggling her little legs in the air.

Sean obeyed her orders, throwing her on the longest sofa in the livingroom.

” Now listen to this…i won’t play it twice!!” He yelled, tapping on the phone screen.

The two male voice started to play in the background and Amy sat up, listening with keen interest.

Soon, Before the voice audio could go halfway to the main point, the door gave a loud deafening thud.
