Chapter 13.
Amy stood there feeling emotionless with the two men watching her patiently for her next reaction.
None of them dared to move closer to hold her, especially for vixen who had started to feel out of place.
She gazed up at him as if she was trying to grasp every of his ev’l thought at that moment.
Soon, tears began to fill and crowd her lids and it aimlessly crawled out of her eyes staining her glowing cheeks.
She instantly palmed her nose, shaking her head as she sobbed.
” No. It’s not true. Please tell me that this is just a dream!. Everything i just heard is not true.” She sobbed.
Xan looked at Vixen silently telling him to step forward and do his thing before her fragile legs would fail her.
Vixen lazily pulled himself out, stopping once he got at the front of amy.
He quickly pulled up her tender hands, wrapping them in palms.
” Amy, please. I…i…don’t even know where to start from. Like seriously…my words are all stuck in my throat.”
Amy raised her gaze upwards till she could stare at his brown pupils.
” Vixen. W…what did i do w..rong to… you?.” she asked, panting as her tears failed her.
Vixen subconsciously swallowed, kssing the back of her palm.
” I know only an apology can solve this…
” No words or apology is going to make me alright, vixen. Are you even human?. Can you imagine all you just said!. Why would you think of hvrting me this way”
” Sigh…listen to me, Amy. i never meant any of the things i said. I would never try to hurt you.”
” Oh. Good. So You mean if i hadn’t hear your conversation, you would not try to hurt me afterwards?.”
” Amy. You know I’d never try to hurt you in anyways.”
” Lies!, Vixen, you lie. Why did you hide the truth from me!. You played with my feelings, i foolishly loved you!”
Vixen kept mute, staring down in defense.
She sighed, smiling bitterly at him. She wiped her tears with the back of her palm.
” I just learnt a great lesson today. I guess everything that happened was all my fault. I failed. I failed totally.” She said.
Vixen sighed, shutting down his eyes, brain and the rest of his thinking abilities.
Amy tugged his shirt, pulling him hardly.
” Do you hear me?. I hate you ten times more than how i hated xan. I Hate you, i hate your h®rrible face full of lies!”
Vixen lowered his gaze, he bit his lower lip in pain.
” You don’t understand anything, Amy”
” Of course, i don’t understand you. Your lies stink alot that’s why. Such a d’vil in an angel’s coat!” she yelled, stepping away.
She turned around to leave but she suddenly halted. She palmed her forehead.
“My head…t..they hurt alot now. I’m…I’m so confused…” she winced.
Her eyes had began to travel anti clockwise making everything around her spin and fade.
She blinked, slowly running her fingers into her hair.
She closed up her eyes stumbling from behind and Xan was quick to hold on to her before she would aim for the floor.
” Amy. Amy!!.” Xan called her name, shaking her desperately. She didn’t move. He looked up at vixen.
” What happened?. What’s wrong with her?” xan asked, utterly shocked.
Vixen scoffed heading towards the dark coat placed on the table. He picked it up and began to put it on himself.
Xan saw him head towards the door aimlessly.
” V..vixen. Where are you going!.” Xan yelled but was replied with the loud deafening sound of the door.
He turned to look at the girl in his arms before pulling her up.

AMY’S ROOM…
Xan pushed the door to Amy’s room open. He met the nurse placing some cold clothes patches on her head.
He stepped in casually, pocketing his arm.
” How’s she feeling now, nurse?” He asked.
The nurse leaned up, giving a faint smile.
” Her body feels a bit manageable. She only fainted because she was suffering from depression. It caused her a slight brain turmoil. But she will be alright.” The nurse assured him.
Xan sighed, rubbing his thumb on his chin.
” Does she needs any drugs?”
” Not really. She just need enough rest, nutritious food and some yoga exercise, that’s all.” She said.
” Yoga exercise?.” He muttered to himself. How the dmn h’ll would he make her do yoga exercise.
He turned to stare at Amy who was widely awake, before turning back at the nurse.
” Okay. Don’t worry, she’ll perform her care routine everyday.” He said.
The nurse picked her up bags.
” I’ll be taking my leave. I’ll come to check up on her every weekends” She said and Xan nodded in agreement.
She daringly kssed Amy goodbye before she left through the open door quickly.
Xan slowly stepped towards her bed, exchanging eye contact with her.
He leaned down to sit next to her before slowly picking her hands.
” You see, Amy. You need to be very careful now. You almost endangered yourself because of vixen.”
” The nurse said i need to rest daily so just get out of here!” she pointed towards the door.
Xan pulled her hands down and stared at her eyes affectionately.
” I knew a day like this would come, Amy. I warned you but you didn’t listen. You preferred to be with your hot lover boy, vixen.”
” Pst…hot lover boy!. I hate the sound of his name. Wherever he is he should never return cus i won’t spare him!” she said, her tears failing her.
” Perhaps, he’s some where in the desert, searching for plan B now. If he comes back, I’m sure he will be more de.adly” He grinned.
Amy sighed, wiping the extra tears on her eyes.
” After my medication, Please take me home” she said.
” Your home is being reconstructed after the damage vixen caused. I would take you home whenever it’s fixed” He replied.
She turned sideways on her bed, covering up herself including her head.
Xan saw that she needed some rest so he quickly stood up, began to step out of the room.
” Wait!” Amy sat up. Xan stopped and turned to stare at her.
She immediately climbed down the bed quickly and stopped right infront of him. She had to do this just to get her gut feeling away.
She quickly threw her hands around him hugging his body tight.
” I’m very sorry, xan” she pouted.
” Sorry?…For what?” he asked, raising his brows.
” For not believing all you said. For all my ill treatment towards you. For….calling you coward. I know they are alot. But I’m sorry.” She said and looked up at him shyly.
Xan grinned, pulling her closer as he twirled his hands around her.
” I’ll forgive you, Amy. But let agree that we are no longer friends, just two normal people living under one roof.” He scoffed.
She stepped back, away from him.
” Definitely Agreed!. No longer friends!” She said doing like a scout girl.
Xan stared at the big smile on her puffy cheeks.
He was trying hard like hell to make her jealous too but she was finding everything like sweet fun.

” Sure . Not friends.” Xan nodded, shaking her hand in return.
He pocketed his arm and stepped away from her before halting to a stop.
” I’ll be bringing in my fiancée to the house tonight.” He grinned, wearing a notable smirk.
” Fiancée?. You have a f..fiancée?” She asked, peeking up to find his face. He quickly turned to stare at her expression.
Her face was still merely with any emotion. He walked over to her and pinched her chin raising her face up.
” What do you expect, little fruit?. That I’m still single?.” He asked.
” Um..No!…no!…” She lowered her gaze, looking at everywhere but him.
He leaned up, adjusting his necktie.
” Good. So be at your best. I need to see you with good manners when she arrives here. Do you understand?”
” Yes..yes” She replied with a nod and smile.
Xan sighed. She was still not giving out any jealous expression at all.
He knew he was so bad at making people jealous.
He thought that, maybe he deserved to show Amy how it felt to be hurt and made jealoused of too.
He would love to see if she truly loved him or not. He actually had no fiancée to talk of.
He turned her head around and nudged her back to go back to bed.
” Go have some rest and sleep. I’ll be in my room if you need anything.” He said .
She climbed up the bed and pulled the duvet up to her shoulder as she watched him leave.
She raised both her feet on the bed and palmed her face miserably.
” So he has a fiancée. Gosh…it just me and pink now. Goodluck to you amy!. You caused this!. You failed to listen when you had the chance to change. I guess you should face your part of your pvnishment as well….

UNKNOWN TOWN.
Vixen pulled the door open to a large building and found his way up the stairs.
He arrived inside a large empty room with only a single bed in the middle.
He dropped the black bag he carried and pulled off his coat before plonking himself on the bed.
A young lady of about Amy’s height walked in with a blue jumpsuit and black mask.
” Change my looks. completely.”
” Complete? Why?.”
” i want to go back home in disguise for a second revenge” He uttered.
