Chapter 47
Amy was sobbing her face on her mother’s belly. Vixen walked up to xan, palming his shoulder.
” I never knew that’s her mother?” He said.
” I’m speechless for her, vix.” Xan said, sighing.
” Speechless that?”
” Amy still pity her mom this way. She loves her mom very much. I just wish my mom could love me this way too.” He said and vixen instantly scoffed, walking away.
Amy looked up and found vixen. She ran to him and held his shirt.
” Vixen!. What were you thinking to have h!t her!. Were you that drunk!” Amy squirmed loudly.
” Amy i had no intention in klling her. Afterall, she wanted the death herself.” Vixen shrugged, speaking calmly.
” What if she had died!. Don’t you know she is the only surviving family i have left!” She said and weakly left hold of him.
She walked to katrina.
” Katrina…”
” Yes, Amy.” Katrina held her firm, close to her body.
” I’m sure you must have a general bIood group type. Please for the sake of anything, please help my mom!” She cried.
” I’m_ I’m sorry i don’t. I don’t possess it” She replied, shaking her heads.
Xan came forward and pulled Amy to his body as they moved to a seperate place in the room.
He held her hand and stared into her swelled eyes that were prickly to fall out tears soon.
” I still can’t believe you still want to help her after everything she did to us. But i understand she needs to be given a second chance.”
” Nevertheless, xan. She is still my mother. i love her from my heart. I’ve grown to cherish her no matter anything.” She said.
Xan heaved loudly and looked over to her sickbed.
” You are right. She is still your mom and_she still deserves to be loved.” He said.
The doctor then walked in. Amy left hold of xan as she rushed towards him quickly.
She folds her sleeves.
” Take my bIood, share it for both of us. Please doc do it quickly before her oxygen runs out.” She said getting impatient.
Xan came forward and held her wrist firmly.
” You can’t use yours, amy. You already lost enough after losing the baby. I’ll give out the donor.” Xan said.
” You…you will?” Amy asked, blinking her fleek lashes.
Xan turned to face the doctor.
” Take my bIood instead. I have the general group type” He said.
The doctor nodded in agreement and led him away towards the door.
Katrina went forward to hold Amy in place as she led her to sit on the sofa. Vixen also joined them.
” It’s okay, Amy. Cheer up.” Katrina said, cleaning her wet cheeks.
” It’s not okay, kate. It’s not okay until i say it’s okay.” She said and fell her head on vixen’s shoulder, sobbing silently.
Vixen grabbed her closer and rubbed her head and back gently.
” Don’t worry Amy. Everything will be fine. I’m here with you, so don’t feel bad, okay?”
” Mn.” she nodded, wrapping her hands around him. Vixen intentionally looked up only to receive horrible glares from Kate.
Kate yanked her from his brace and made her rest on her shoulder instead.

8: 00pm. FOUNDER HOSPITAL ?
Xan was waiting at the reception and Amy was laying her head on his lap, sleeping in awareness.
It’s been seven hours but Amy decided to remain in the hospital till her mother moved a joint.
The nurse stepped out of Mrs qin ward and informed them she could open her eyes now.
Amy and xan rushed to their feet and both of them ran towards her room with so much expectancy.
Mrs qin saw her door open. She quickly rubbed the tears that had been running down her eyes.
Xan walked in and Amy stood by the door, hugging close to his shirt nervously.
” Ali_cia…” mrs qin raised her arm weakly.
Xan looked down and smiled at Amy.
” I told you she will be fine.” He said. Amy pressed her head on his shirt as she formed a smile too.
How relieved she felt!. She left hold of him and stepped towards her mom’s bed.
” Mom…” She said, sitting down.
” Alicia. Alicia…Is it too late to say sorry?. Or for how long I’ve i been dead?” She asked, palming her daughter’s cheeks.
Amy held her mom’s palm as she smiled. A single tear fell off her cheek.
” Mom…”
” Fate keeps denying my death, Alicia…”
” Mother…” Amy moved closer.
” And in the end, you still helped me. I Don’t even deserve a second chance at all…”
” Mom, i love you. What wouldn’t i have done without you, mother. Sometimes when i remember my past, there’s alot good you’ve done for me than bad.”
” Alicia. You are forgetting something. I’m A bad mother. what good mother will let their daughter loose his womb and kll his grandchild.”
” Mom. I Understand that you did it out of anger. But everyone makes mistake. I know xan was cruel to me back then, believe me mom, he’s changed now.”
” I can totally testify that he is. He truly changed. I’m sorry i failed to understand, I’m sorry for all those days of ill treatment” Mrs qin sniffed her nose and broke into a sob.
” I’m sorry that there are alot to be sorry for but i might not have been able to remember. Deep down, I’m truly sorry.”
” Its fine.” Amy said rubbing her mother’s palm gently. Mrs qin got helped to sit up on the bed as well.
” The doctor said i was given a bIood donation.”
” Xan.” Amy looked behind her.
Xan had been leaning himself to the door with one kneel on the wall. He made himself visible and came forward to share a sit on her bed as well.
Mrs qin covered her nose. She couldn’t contain her feelings. The pain she felt right then was more than what she faced at Amy’s sickbed.
She picked xan arm and sobbed in his palm.
” Xan. Still the same xan i hated and tried to kll by thugs. Still the same xan i chased away and klled his baby, is the same xan who volunteered to help me today.” She sobbed.
She picked Amy’s hand as well.
” I’m very sorry. It takes time to heal a broken heart and i know my forgiveness is still across. Just know i remain guilty for what i did and i’m sorry.” She said and fixed their knuckles together.
Amy stared at xan and xan raised his eyes to meet her face. A smile slowly crept on their cheeks.
” I don’t know when I’ll come out of the hospital with a broken leg but let me do this…” Mrs qin said.
She kssed both of them at the back of palm and breathed out a sigh.
She turned to xan.
” Go on with your marriage, Xan. Have has mutiple kids as you want and live a happily ever after family life with my daughter. You deserve Amy. You totally do!.”
She finally met Amy’s face and she realised they were as wet as hers as well.
” Alicia dear, you dont have to worry. You will have kids okay?. Dont ever give up on yourself”
” Yes, yes i know i will. I wont give up, never ever!. I’m going to bare my own kids” She sobbed loudly.
Mrs qin embraced xan and pulled Amy closer to join them as well as they held tight to eachother.
