“Open this door Neil,” Iris snapped as she turned to face him. “I can’t do that Iris,” Neil replied. “You have to, you have to let me go. We are over! Why won’t you accept that!?” She screamed.
“No… I’m not letting you go, not again… My heart can’t handle it,” he cried. “You walked away Neil, if your heart could handle it then it should be able to handle it now,” she replied and walked towards him.
“Open this door, I don’t want to stay here!” She screamed and he bowed his head. “Neil please, let’s stop punishing ourselves…, we are only going to hurt more if we keep this on, let’s make it simple and let go of each other,” she pleaded.
“It wasn’t easy Iris, living without you was not easy!” He yelled. “You should have thought about that before walking away!” She retorted.
“I am still in love with you Iris, I didn’t want to let you go then but I had to, now I have a choice and I have choosen not to let you go,” he said holding her hand.
“I’m in love with someone else Neil and we are engaged,” she blurted and he smiled. “You mean Elias Del Vera? The run away groom?” He asked and she sIapped him.
“He didn’t run away! He is not an animal like you!” She screamed as tears streamed on her cheek. “He is no where to be found yet he isn’t reported missing, so where on earth is he if he isn’t with another woman?” Neil asked and Iris shook her head sideways.
“My Elias loves me and he will never cheat on me!” She yell and moved away from him. “Will he still love you when he find out about your past?” He asked.
“What are you talking about?” She asked with a trembling lips. “You and I, our dead son,” he blurted.
Iris felt her heart shattered as those memories flood into her head, she held her head and shook her head sideways.
“No!” She screamed as tears fell for her eyes, Neil regretted reminding her of it but he had to. He thought doing they will snap her into right state of mind.
“It wasn’t my fault,” she muttered as she felt her heart break to pieces, her head felt heavy and her legs wobbly. She fell on the floor and hugged herself, everything in her past was haunting her.
First it was the twins and now Niel, why did they gang up against her? What has she ever done wrong? She raised her head to look at Elias when she heard footsteps.
“Don’t come closer!” She yell and he stop. “I’m sorry Iris, I just want you to stop living under the illusion that you are perfect, think of what he would do if he found out that you had a son who is now dead?” He suddenly asked.
“I don’t give a dmn about what he thinks, he will learn to love me because that is my past!” She retorted.
“What about your ¢ruel personality? The fact that you don’t help dying people in knights street because that was where your far d!ed?” He asked and she stared at the floor.
She bit her lips so hard that it bleed, she took a handful of her hair as her vision became unclear. The ground was shaking as if an earthquake was happening, her fingers suddenly grew longer, and her head was spinning.
“I hate you Neil,” she mumble and lost consiuosness. Neil carried her to the room and covered her with a duvet, he regret leaving her but he has no choice back then.
Now they everything is going according to plan he is not letting her go, he hated hurting her but he justy keeps doing it.
It was six years ago, shortly after the de.ath of her father they were walking in knight’s street. There was a wounded girl who needed medical attention but Iris ignored her and stopped Elias when he wanted to help.
She said everyone in that street deserves to d!e because they ignored her dad. She was pregnant by that time but she gave birth prematurely and the baby d!ed.
She hates it when Neil bring up the dead child’s issue, it makes her hate herself for being irresponsible.
“I will do whatever it takes to keep you beside me,” he said and peck her hair.

Adrian was dressed in a surgical coat, they didn’t let anyone into the room except Zoey, a nurse and a doctor.
“Are you ready?” Adrian asked Diana. “I wish I can see Aunt Romina one more time,” she uttered sadly
“Don’t speak as if it’s going to be your last day, aunt Romina will visit after your surgery,” Draco assured.
“It’s time,” a nurse informed and Elias nodded his head, he turned to Diana and pat her hair while he tougher Draco’s hair.
“Wait for your sister,” he told Draco. “Be strong for your brother,” he told Diana.
“I’ll be strong for everyone, for you, Draco, Aunt Romina, Miss Nicole, Mrs. Drake and for myself,” she stated with a smile.
“What about Iris?” Elias asked. “Hell with Iris,” she mumbled and Elias shook his head negatively. Two nurse rushed in and helped Elias push the bed out of the ward, Nicole and Nora (Mrs. Drake) were standing by the door, they tried to touch her but the nurses didn’t wait so the couldn’t.
Diana was transferred to a bed in the OR, Elias and the assiting doctor went to get ready while the nurse got Diana ready.
“What is her vitals?” Elias asked as a nurse helped him to wear the surgical gloves. “Stable, we can start,” another nurse replied.
“I will commence the surgery now,” Elias said moving closer to her Diana who was fast asleep, only a space on her stomach was visible the rest were covered.
“Scapel,” he ordered with his hand open and a nurse gave it to him, he opened her up and started the surgery.

“Should we buy dinner?” Steve asked as he strolled with Romina down the street. “No there is somewhere I have to be,” she replied.
They were coming from a warehouse, Romina asked for his help in hiding the Important files.
“Where is that?” He asked. “Not a place I can tell you,” she replied and he chuckled.
“In happy you are not bothered by your problems,” he said and she chuckled. “I guess I can handle them,” she replied.
“We should hang out often, I can help you clear your head,” he suggested. “I have someone who does that,” she replied and a smile appear on her lips as her mind flashed to Elias.
“Who is it? I’m jealous,” he said with a childish pout. “Don’t be it’s Zoey,” she replied.
“Zoey? She is back?” He asked with a hint of excitement. “Yes and she is more like human, we should upgrade her when we are less busy,” she suggested.
“What more does she need?” He asked because as far as he could remember she (Zoey) is 9.999 percent more like human than any AI ever built.
“She should be able to eat,” she replied. “That is impossible Romina,” he said and she chuckle.
“I know I just wish we could, we have to go our separate ways now,” she said and stopped beside her car.
“You coming to work tomorrow right?” He asked. “I’m not sure,” she replied.
“You should come, I wanna buy you lunch,” he said and she nodded. “Good night Steve,” she said and got into her car, he stared at the car until it was out of sight, he muttered. “Good night Romina.”

Iris groaned as she sat up on the bed, she reached for her phone and checked the time it was past eight in the night.
She had seven missed calls and one message from her mom, she asked her to go home so they could settle the dispute.
“As if you care,” she mumbled and got our of bed, she went to the sitting room and met Neil setting the table.
“You are awake, I wanted to wake you up once I was done,” Neil said turning to face her with a smile but she kept a straight face.
“You must feel tired, come and have something,” he gestured at the food, she stared at it then back at him.
“I’m not hungry, I have to get to the hospital,” she said walking toward the door. “Hospital why?” He inquired.
“My sister-in-law is sick, I need to be there,” she said and scanned the room hoping to find a way to escape.
“You don’t have to be there, it’s not like you care,” he replied. “I am a changed person, falling in love with Elias changed me,” she said and found a key which she guessed it’s for the door.
“Changed? I don’t believe that,” he said and she walked towards the stool the key was on. “Believe it or not, I don’t care!” She spat with her gaze on the key. Neil stared in the direction she was looking at chuckled.
