I went around the school searching for melanie
I feel like a fool,why did i let my anger and jealousy take over
I should have just asked about what happened than just jumping into conclusion
I always mess up with melanie,she must really hate me now,i thought as i kept on searching for her
The bell rang and it was time for us to go home but there wasnt a sign of Melanie
Her bag was not in the class and i had left it there a while ago
It definitely mean that she had come back to get it
Running back outside i saw her getting into andrew car
“Melanie!!!”i called
She turned and on seeing me,she looked away and andrew drove off
She is really angry at me,i thought as i stood starring at the car
Her eyes were all red,she had been crying which means that i hurt her deeply
I just hope that i can make it up to her this time,i thought sadly
I got back home feeling sad,no one asked me where melanie could be well except martha the busy body
Where could she have gone to with andrew
I feel so very jealous right now but i had to keep my cool
My jealousy had taken over earlier and it had made me say things that i didnt mean
“Your Highness ,your father wishes to see you”martha said bowing
“I will be right away”i said and she nodded and left
All through the walk down to dad room,i wondered why he had to see me
I got to his room and found him by the window he was busy looking at some pictures
I bowed before taking my seat
He threw the pictures on the table and i saw it all contained melanie and i
“Care to tell me whats going on”he said
“Have you been spying at me”i said
“Just been watching,ever since you broke it off with sarah,i knew they must be a reason,is it because of her”he said
I dont know if i should tell him because melanie doesnt want anyone to know about our relationship and i had to put her into consideration
“Answer me Alex ,dont you know that she is nothing but a maid ,a maid who isnt fit for you ,you just had to set your eyes upon someone who is below our class “he said
I got so furious about the way he belittled melanie and in anger i lashed out at him
“She is not below our class dad and you cant teach your heart who to love,she loves me and i love her too,so please dad leave us alone”i said
“Alex!!!!”
“No dad have always listened to everything you said to me but not now ,i really love Melanie and i will fight you and everyone if that is what it takes to be with the girl i love”i said
“Alexander……”
“No dad,not anymore,just accept my relationship with melanie cause i wont leave her alone,not now or ever”i said as i left the room
I got outside to see melanie mom by the door
She was starring at me,it only means that she heard everything
“You both are not meant for each other”she said
“We are meant for each other ,i love your daughter and i wont let her go,not now or ever”i said
“You shouldnt be saying that your highness “she said
I know she thinks that i wont be able to protect her daughter but i will prove to her that i love melanie a lot
I held her hand and starred at her
“I really mean everything i said,i love your daughter and i will protect her and cherish her”i said
She starred at me for a long time and pulled her hand
“You guys are from two different worlds,you cant be together,you dont belong to each other “she said and walked off
I starred as she walked off,no one understands us
Its just melanie and i and we will defend our love from everyone else but before that have got to find a way to apologise to her

“Are you sure you will fine here by yourself”andrew said
“I will dont worry and thanks “i said giving him a hug
“That alex is a real fool”he said holding me
“Yes he is and i wont get back with him”i said meaning my word
“All i want is for you to be happy”he said
“Thank you andrew,thanks”i said
Life wouldn’t be so complicated if i had just fallen for my bestfriend but instead i had fallen for a prince
“You better get going,i will be on my way now”i said as i waved him off
I used the back entrance cause i didnt want anyone seeing me
I got to my room and saw mom packing our stuffs
“Whats going on mom?”i said
“We are leaving”
“But why?”
“You still have the nerve to ask why,dont you know that the king knows the truth about you and alex,i had told you right,break whatever relationship you are having with him but you just wont listen and now your darling prince had to just tell it all to his father,so before they send us away,we should leave”she said
“But mom?”
“No dont but me Melanie,go and pack your things,we are leaving”she said
“Mom i dont want to leave”
“Its because of that prince right?”
“I love him mom,please dont make me leave”i said
“Cant you see that your world are apart”she said
“Yes we are world apart but we love each other a lot and am not willing to let melanie go”he said from the doorway
When had he gotten there,i thought as i starred at him
But he didnt spare me a glance,he was only starring at my mom
“You both are just foolishly inlove,very soon you will see that this love of yours is not worth fighting for “she said
“It is ma’am,melanie and i never planned to fall for each other but destiny brought us together and if she has been destined for me,i wont let her go”he said holding my hand
“Mom what we feel for each other is genuine,just let us be together”i said
“If i did allow it,what about the king” she said
“I will handle my dad myself,just give us your blessing”he said
“I cant give you that yet but i will let you see each other,i just hope that my daughter wont get hurt in all this”she said
“She wont,i love melanie a lot and i promise to love her for the rest of my life”he said
I starred at him and he gave me a smile making me believe that he really loves me and i with him………
