?Melanie pov ?
“Is this a joke or something”he said starring at me
Doing this really hurts but still i have to do it,its the only way to make him stay away
“Its not a joke alex,i dont want to be with you anymore,i just want to be with rex”i said still clutching rex hand and i really hope that rex wouldnt break it all and tell him the truth
“That wasnt what you were telling me yesterday”he said walking towards me
“Everything have ever told you is a lie alex,i dont love you,i never did”i said and saw the look of hurt on his face
“You are breaking my heart with your words Melanie “he said moving close to me
Not as much as its breaking my heart,i thought sadly
“Do you think i care about your heart,i never did and that wont start now”i said
He starred at me in a sad way and then he turned and walked away
Just watching him leave,i burst into tears and rex pulled me to him hugging me tightly
“Its okay”he said patting my back but i kept on crying
“He is really leaving”i said between sobs
“But am here,am right here”rex said
A while later i sat with rex in the waiting room,expecting news from the doctor
Rex has really been a good friend,he had stayed with me and had even offered to take me home yesterday but i had refused and when i woke up today he was already waiting on his bike to take me to the hospital and i know that he is eager to know what just happened between me and alex but i just cant tell him not yet and am glad that rex isnt trying to pry
The doctor got out of the operating room and immediately i ran to him
“The operation went well,she is still heavily sedated,so you cant see her now”he said to me
“When can i see her”i said
“Maybe in the evening or tomorow”he said
“Okay”i said feeling so very happy
“You see,i told you your mom will be okay”he said and i nodded feeling happy
At least something good came out of everything,i thought
“Would you go to school or would you go home”rex said
“I would rather go to school,it would keep my head busy”i said to him
“So then school it is”rex said
“But you dont have to go back to school with me “i said
“I have to go to school to do somethings too and dont forget we have to work together on the music competition”he said
“Oh that,have really forgotten about it”i said and together we both went to school
I only hoped that alex isnt at school,i really hope so

“You havent been paying attention alex,whats going on with you”andrew said to me as we sat in the reharsal room
“Its nothing”i said feeling so very angry
Melanie just used me,she toyed with my heart
“I dont love you,i never did”just remebering her words got me feeling so angry
“Hey man!!”andrew said to me
“Whats it”i said
“You arent here man,there is something wrong,its Melanie right ”
“She is a liar Andrew ,she used me”i said
“What rubbish are you sputtering,melanie never lies and she never uses anyone”
“Well she did,she doesnt love me,she never did”
“Did she tell you that”
“Yes”
“And you believed her”
“Why wont i?”
“Melanie isnt impulsive and one thing i know about her is that when she gives her heart,she gives it with all her might and thats what she did with you”
“But she told me she doesnt love me”
“Then something must have happened for her to say that to you,where was she when she said it,what was she doing?”
“She was at the hospital and……”
“Wait a minute,she was at the hospital but why”andrew said
” i never asked her”i said feeling like a fool
Something must have happened to her and thats why she must have been in the hospital and maybe thats what made her say all those things,i thought to myself
“If your thinking what am thinking,then i think you should go and talk to her”andrew said
“Your right “i said and ran to search for her
I found her in the school caffeteria with rex
That piece of thrash is trying to steal what belongs to me but i wont let it happen
“Melanie we have to talk”i said pulling her hand
“But i dont want to”she said jerking off her hand
“You are coming with me okay”i said
“She doesnt want to go,leave her alone ”
“Just mind your business Rex ,stop meddling”i said and pulled her off with me
I got to my private room at school and locked the door
“Why are you so stubborn,i said i dont want to have anything to do with you”i said
“I dont believe you “i said
“Then its your own choice,excuse me”i said about to walk off but i pulled her to me and kssed her
She tried to fight back but i was much stronger,i pulled her closer deepening the kiss
“I love you melanie,why are you trying to pull us apart”i whispered gently to her
“Its because i dont love you”she said
“Thats a lie,what really happened?why were you at the hospital”i said gently nibbling her lips
“Mom was sick and so she was taken to the hospital”she said
“And how is she ?”i said
“She is doing okay now”she said
“Is she the reason why you are leaving me”i said and just then she pushed me away
“We cant be together alex,we just cant be together”
“Why?what happened?tell me”i said
“I love rex….”
“We both know its a lie,why are you doing this melanie”i said
“I dont want to be with you anymore ,i just dont love you like i did before,alex please lets just stay away from each other,please”she said and walked off
