CHAPTER 33
“Ordering, you’ll have no choice because even if you end the call now, I’ll keep on calling you” she giggled and Kai shook his head
“Where are you?” He asked
“Uhhh… Oops I don’t know”
“Stop playing around or else I’ll leave you there”
“Okay, okay” she said and told him the address, he immediately hung up the call
“Huh” Layla stared at her phone “is he coming or not?”
But soon, Kai came in looking cold and dvilishly handsome in his work suit, the girls around the club stared at him lvstfully but he walked straight to Layla
“Great you came” she smiled nodding drunkenly
“Let’s go, you’re such headache” Kai said but Layla stopped him blinking cutely
“I haven’t paid and my dad seized my credit card, please help me out this once” she pleaded
Kai sighed frustratingly and paid for the drinks before helping Layla up and carrying her outside
“Where’s your car?”
“Dad seized it, he took everything from me” she said ” sorry I lied”
“What’s the use” he said and took her to his car instead
“Take me to my house” she screamed throwing her arms in the air
“Where else would I take you” he scoffed driving off after she had told him..
They got to the apartment she stays and Kai pulled up in the driveway, he took her inside she told him her passcode to open the door
He carried her to her room as she requested, immediately she jumped down from his back and walked to the bed, laying on it flat
“Home sweet home” she smiled rolling around the bed
Kai scoffed angrily
“So you can actually walk Ana you mad me carry you up here?”
“The feeling” she wiggled her brows at him
He turned to leave but she dragged his arm, making him fall on the bed beside her
She suddenly went close to his face staring intensely at him, he had freckles though they looked almost invisible she still saw them because of how close they were
She stretched her finger and ran them through his face
“You have freckles, they’re beautiful” she muttered staring at them but Kai’s focus was on her
Such guts to touch his face, a face not even his friends could touch, she wasn’t scared at all, she was just like Annalise
But he wasn’t pushing her away even if he wanted to, he was also staring at her, from her black lashes to her button nose and then her thin pink lips…..

Kai snapped out of his thoughts and pushed Layla away
“Take a rest and don’t you dare touch my face ever again, also next time find someone else to call” Kai said angrily and stormed out slamming the door behind him
But Layla was in another world to notice Kai’s absence, she was smiling sheepishly to herself, her cheeks burning red
“He’s so cute” she giggled.

At the five star hotel Gary and Frenchie had lodged. Frenchie just came out of the bathroom, she had a robe around her body but it wasn’t properly covering her chest
She opened the door because she had heard knocks on it, in front of the door stood Gary
He stared at her, her hair was wet was sticking to her face, his brows furrowed when his eyes caught something on her chest, it was a tattoo like drawing
Frenchie covered her chest properly when she saw Gary’s line of sight
“Sir, is there a problem?” She asked laughing awkwardly
“No just wanted to check how well you’re settling in” Gary responded lazily
“Uhh well I’m setting good sir thanks” she said smiling
“Okay, we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow” he said and left.
