*Scoff*
He stared at her, she dragged Cindy who was about to enter the office back
“Don’t go in there” she said and Cindy furrowed her brows
“Why?, I just want to sir the files he had asked for earlier” Cindy said showing the files to Layla who still shook her head
“Don’t go”
“But…”Cindy wanted to insist
“You can leave the files with me, I’ll give them to him later, he’s a little busy now” Kai said and Cindy nodded handing the files over to Kai before going back to her desk
“Who knew you could be considerate?” Layla wiggled her brows at Kai who ignored her
He turned to leave and she immediately followed
“Why are you following me?” He asked
“Well, I can’t just stand there and wait until they’re done, who knows what might happen next” she said smiling and Kai shook his head
She had dirty thoughts and was really silly, though she wasn’t far from the truth what if Zane really takes it to the next level.
Meanwhile back in the office….
Zane slowly broke the kss, Annalise was staring at him breathlessly, they kssed.. for the freaking second time
Oh the dream she had long awaited for.. butterflies were throwing party in her belly right now, her heart was racing as she watched him stand straight
“You should learn to keep your mouth shut” he said coldly and she creased her brows at him
“What?”
“What were you about to tell Kai just now?” He asked
“Ohh, that you were scared of horror movies” she replied and he glared at her
“So it was a secret” Annalise smiled mischievously
Zane knew she had something on her mind
“You’re not going to tell him are you?” He asked and she stared at him again
“Off-course I will, I can’t keep my mouth shut, the world and your friends needs to know what a scaredy cat their proud handsome richest CEO is”
Zane raised his brows when she had called him handsome and richest, well that felt good
“You think they’ll believe that?”Zane asked Annalise nodded
“I’ll tell them, and I’ll tell Kai too”
“Then I’ll kss you again” Zane responded folding his arms
“That wouldn’t be so bad” Annalise mumbled
“What are you saying?” Zane asked and she shook her head
“Nothing” she started walking to the door
“Thanks for the kss…..” Annalise said and immediately covered her mouth Zane raised his brows
“I mean the lips….. Whatever bye” she immediately ran out embarrassed and Zane chuckled
“Eisshh!, So embarrassing” she bit lips and ran before he could see her
Meanwhile Zane nodded with raised brows smiling unknowingly, he had heard her say it wouldn’t be so bad to kss again and his smile widened
“Aww so cute” Zane said touching his lips
That was the scene Kai met when he came into Zane’s office
“Dude, why do you look so weird, was the kss that good?” Kai asked and Zane immediately put on his poker face looking serious
“What are you talking about?” Zane asked not meeting Kai’s eyes
“You can fool Gary not me” Kai said lazily and sat on a chair
Zane sat on his desk and faced the computer looking serious.
