CHAPTER 12
The person that had taken the wine glanced down at her with lazy cold eyes
“That was supposed to be mine” she muttered but he ignored her, he turned to leave but another guy stood in front of him and took the wine from him
“Not cool dude” the guy said giving the bottle back to Layla who grabbed it with both hands
“At last” she said hugging the bottle
“At least try to be cold to guys only” the guy said again and the person who had taken the wine from her left without a word
“Don’t mind his cold attitude” the guy said stretching his hands at her “I’m Gary”
“Layla, thank you” she responded shaking his hands
“That cold guy is Kai, my friend and we’re also friends with Zane”
“No wonder you’re handsome” Layla muttered
“You think I’m handsome because of Zane?” Gary asked running his hands through his hair
“Yes” Layla replied shortly “thank you for saving this wine, it’s for I and my friend, see you whenever I see you” Layla wanted and left
Gary stared at her as she stopped in front of Annalise and gave the bottle to her
“Her friend is Zane’s little wife?” Gary raises a brow interestingly.

“From now onwards, since you’re both an official couple now, you’ll be staying together” Sandra said
“Haven’t we?” Zane asked in a bored voice
“Like you have to stay together in one room”
“No!!”
“Never!!”
They both screamed
“Then how am I supposed to have grandbabies?”
Annalise choked on nothing when she heard this
“Sorry?, grand.. grandbabies?” She stuttered
“Yes, orrrr are you both….” Sandra creased her brows staring from the bored looking Zane to the wide eyed Annalise
“Are you both gays?”
“No!” Annalise screamed
“Mom” Zane glared
“Are you both embarrassed?, You’re 23 and you’re 25, you’re both grown ups, please give me grandchildren”
“You should have thought about that before bringing a random rat for me to marry” Zane said and Annalise glared at him
“Did you just call me a rat?” She asked staring up at him with her hand on her waist
He glanced down at her and shook his head
“The butler is going to take Anna’s stuffs into your room” Sandra said and walked out
Zane took his suit jacket from the chair and walked out also, Annalise folded her arms angrily
“Can’t believe he called me a rat” ..

“Then… Then he said βyou should have thought about that before bringing a random rat for me to marryβ.. that little…”
“You’re the little one bestie, I feel your pain” Layla shook her head patting Annalise sympathetically
“Marriage life is difficult right?” Layla asked and Annalise nodded
“Anyway, I have to go early, I applied for a part time job and my shift should be in like ten …fifteen minutes” Layla checked the time and gasped
“Sht!!, it’s in five minutes, gotta go Anna I’ll see you tomorrow bye” she pecked Annalise and ran off
“How in God’s name can you be rich and still apply for a part time job?” Annalise wondered
“People around me and their own characters” she shook her head.
