CHAPTER 19
Zane wanted to leave for work since Annalise was still asleep but she immediately stood up
“Where are you going Zane?” She asked
“To work, where else?”
Off-course he would be going to work but for some reason she wants him home today
“Aren’t you tired?”
“Why would I be?”
“Can’t you take a day off?” She asked again
“No” he replied coldly
“Just one day won’t make your company go bankrupt right?”
“It will”
He walked towards the door and Annalise gritted her teeth
“He wants this the hard way right?” She thought glaring at his back “fine, he’ll get it”
She ran past him to the door and stood in front of it, spreading her short arms, Zane sighed and rolled his eyes
“And what is this supposed to mean?” Zane asked
“I want you to stay, at least if you’re not gonna explain where you were at then take a day off and let’s go do something fun”
“Are you high?, Have you perhaps been taking drugs behind my back?”
Annalise silently cursed him and locked the door, taking the keys with her back to the bed, Zane chuckled
“I do have spare keys yunno”
“Fk it!” She cvrsed silently at her stupidity
Zane opened the door with his spare key and walked out, Annalise immediately ran after him
Zane ran downstairs hastily and Annalise chased hotly behind him
“What’s your problem?” Zane asked still running
“Can’t you stay home today?” She whined
“No”
Zane headed towards the door but unknowingly bumped into Kai who came from the sitting room when he heard the sounds
He and Kai fell together making Annalise catch up
“Get off me dude” Kai snapped, he was under Zane
“I think I don’t want to?” Zane snapped back standing up, Kai did the same cleaning his body
“This little headache won’t let me go to work, I have no idea what she took while I was away” Zane said glaring at Annalise who pouted
“Then stay back with her” Kai shrugged and Zane threw him a kilpler glare
“What?, It’s not like the company’s gonna crash if you don’t come” Kai said and turned to Annalise
“He’ll stay with you” with that Kai left and immediately the butler locked the door
“Why’d you lock the fucking door?”
“Mrs Cassandra just pulled up” the butler replied the drive way
Immediately Annalise who was holding her waist ran upstairs and Zane followed, they both ran to the room and locked the door
“Where’s Zane?” They heard Cassandra asked
“They’re upstairs ma’am” the butler replied
“Zane’s upstairs?” Cassandra asked again
“Yes, he’s in with Miss Ford”
“What are they doing?, Are they preparing for the making of my grandbabies?”
