Zane wanted to yell but Annalise stood on her toes covering his mouth
“I’m not sure I can give an answer to that Mrs Cassandra” the butler bowed
“Then I’ll go check for myself” Cassandra said and soon Annalise and Zane heard the clicking of heels coming upstairsKindly
“Shit what do we do?” Annalise panicked and Zane scoffed
“Speak for yourself”
“As if you also want your mom coming here”Annalise eyed, “but I’ve got an idea”
Zane nodded
“How about…..” She whispered into his ear and he glared at her
“Take it or leave it” she said and he roughed his hair frustratingly..

Cassandra walked majestically towards Zane’s room but stopped when he heard weird noises, she raised her brows and went closer to confirm
“Yes, Zaniee
“Ah babe… More moreee
“I love you, keep going..”
Cassandra smiled at this and turned to the butler whose brows were furrowed
“You didn’t tell me something like this was going on, why’d you let me go up then?” Cassandra asked with an obvious smile playing on her lips
“I’m sorry” the butler bowed
“I’m going back, don’t tell them I was here” Cassandra ordered before leaving
“Yes ma’am” Smith bowed again until she left, he then turned to the door
“She’s out” he said and as he had expected the noise died down, he chuckled and left, kids!
“What kind of stupid suggestion was that?” Zane asked
“You think I had a choice?, And besides you literally did nothing but stand here and glare at me while I was saving our asses” Annalise snapped and Zane pushed her head backwards.

Layla woke up to the rich aroma of fried chicken, her favorite
“Smells good” she grunted her eyes still closed
“I know right?” She heard someone suddenly say beside her
“Aahhhh” she screamed and fell on her bvtt
“Oh my God!, Are you alright?” Gary asked rushing to her
“Yes, yes I’m fine, I’m alright” Layla said standing up, sure immediately noticed she was in Gary’s house
“What’s with me and waking up in guys houses” she asked aloud and Gary creased his brows
“Guys?”
“Where’s that chicken coming from?”
“Here” he stretched the plate to her and she grabbed it, it’s been like 24 hours since she had chicken
She immediately rushed it like she had been starving for days
“I’m sorry” she apologized when sure noticed the weird look Gary was giving her.

“It’s alright, I just found you cute” he smiled stretching his thumb, he wiped off sauce from the corner of her lips
Layla felt her heart skip beats as she stared at him, his eyes were on her lips, it looked pink and inviting, slowly he moved forward, she blinked her lashes at him and slowly adjusted backwards uncomfortably.
