CHAPTER 14
A car stopped abruptly in front of her, she slowly stood up hoping it’ll be taxi, but Kai’s cold face came to view, he was holding a black umbrella
He stood tall and straight with his longs legs, he stared coldly at her she walked back slowly not meeting his eyes
“Get in” he said in a cold voice bit she shook her head
“No”
“Get in or I’ll leave” he said again
“I’ll … I’ll wait for a taxi” she stuttered, her teeth clattered in cold
“They’ll be no taxi coming here soon, get in now”
“No” she shook her head
He turned to leave, he said there weren’t going to be any taxi soon and she might die of cold is she doesn’t get in
“Wait” she whispered and he stopped turning to her “I’ll go with you”.
The drive was long and silent, Kai’s face was only staring ahead while Layla was still shivering
“Where’s your house?” He asked not looking at her but she didn’t reply
“I’m asking a question” he said again, still no reply
He turned and saw her sleeping, she had her head rested to the window
He stopped by the road side, what was he supposed to do now, he doesn’t want to take her to his house and he doesn’t want to wake her for some odd reason to ask for her house address, eventually became to a final decision, he was going to take her to his house.

Layla groaned and turned, opening an eye and staring around, she noticed she was in an unfamiliar environment, she opened both eyes and stared around
“Where am I?, Am I dead?, Even if I was heaven isn’t supposed to be painted in ash right?”
“Who told you you’ll go to heaven if you die?” She heard a cold deep voice and she turned, it was Kai, he was in a black hooded singlet showing off his muscular white arms and black pants
She immediately stood up setting a Kung Fu stance
“I’m not that weak, I can take you down within seconds” she said with a serious face that Kai found himself laughing
“Is that so?” He asked amusingly
“What?, You think I can’t do it?” She asked
“I know how strong you are Mrs but please can I get my shirt back?”
Layla blinked twice, slowly she stared down at herself and realized she was in a big black shirt, with wide eyes she covered her chest with her arms
“You…”
“What?, It’s not like you even have that much bbs anyway” he said shaking his head like it was nothing
“What??!!, You str!pped me without my knowledge?”
“Relax, you’re not my type, there weren’t much to see” he said again
“This is an offense” she screamed and Kai nodded
“I know but give them back now” Kai said stretching his hands
“You expect me to nked myself in front of you?, Go outside and I’ll change into my clothes”
“Your clothes aren’t dried yet”
“You want your clothes when mine aren’t dried?” Layla screamed and Kai nodded calmly
“Nope, no way, you’ll have to compensate me by feeding me and getting me a new clothes or these aren’t coming off” she said
“I could rip them into shreds than seeing them on you so better take them off now”
“No” she shook her head moving far from him
“Mrs”
“It’s Layla”
“Whatever, give them back now”
“No way” he made to catch her but she ran out of the room downstairs
Kai sighed and shook his head
“Women are complicated” he said.
