If I could stop time,i would do it right now.
I really wanted this moment to lasr forever.
We both pulled away, staring at each other with our foreheads touching.
It became extremely awkward.
“Um..i..i…”
I was cut off by the knock on the door.
“Nikky, open up,we need to talk”
“It’s my uncle” i whispered.
“I have to leave”
“Just be careful”
Brandon sneaked out through the window.
I went ahead to open the door.
“Are you ready to talk?”
“Yes,uncle”
He came inside and we both sat on the bed.
“You remind me so much of your mother, you look like her alot”
“I miss her, uncle,i miss mom so much”
“I miss her too but you should know that your dad loves you”
“If he does love me,then why he accuse me of whoring myself around”
“He just got so angry”
“Sometimes,i don’t know him,he acts so secretive,you also, it’s like you two are keeping something from me.”
“No, honey,we are not keeping anything from you”
“Then tell me,how did my mom die?”
“Car accident, remember?”
“Somehow i don’t believe that”
“Well,you should because it’s the truth, Nicole,your dad loves you a whole lot”

I don’t want the same thing that happened to your mom happen to you.
“You were a little harsh on her” Elias said as he walked in.
“I know,Eli,i just lost my cool,you know how dangerous it is if she goes out and they recognize her”
“I know but we can’t keep the truth from her much longer, she’s beginning to ask questions”
If Nicole finds out the truth,she will hate me a whole lot.

The next day,i was downstairs ready to leave for school.
“Nikky” My dad called.
“Yes, dad,do you wanna accuse me of something?”
“Am so sorry,honey,i just got so angry,am sorry”
“Dad,i would never sleep around and you know that”
“I know and am sorry”
“It’s okay,i have forgiven you”
We hugged before i left for school.

“You two kssed?” Jason asked so surprised.
“Yeah and it was amazing but we didn’t have time to talk about it”
“You love her,bro”
“No,i don’t and i don’t want to”
“You can’t keep denying it”
“Look,when i was in her room,i saw a picture of a woman that looks exactly like Nicole,i think it’s her mother but i can’t seem to get her face out of my head, it’s like i have seen her but don’t remember ”
“Nicole’s mom died when she was 6 and you were also little so how can you have met her before?”
That’s true, maybe am just imagining things.

“YOU TWO KSSED?” Bella yelled.
“Shh,keep your voice down, dimw!t” i said.
“How was it?how many minutes?Did you like it?” She asked excitedly.
“It was amazing,Bella, super amazing but it made me realize one thing”
“What’s that?”
“That am in love with Brandon”
“Really?” Bella said holding my shoulders.
“Yes,Bella”
She squealed excitedly and hugged me.
I can’t deny it anymore,am in love with Brandon.
“You have to tell him” Bella said.
“No way,i can’t,what if he does feel the same way about me”
“Oh,come in,he does, it’s in his eyes,the way he looks at you”
“Am not so sure”
“There he is,he’s coming this way, Good luck” Bella said and walked away.
I suddenly became nervous,i have never been so shy in front of Brandon.
“Hey, Shawty”
“Hey,how are you doing?” I said trying not to sound nervous.
“Good, Nicole,we need to talk about yesterday”
Oh, Goodness, what’s he going to say?
“Okay,am listening”
“Am really sorry i kssed you,we are friends and we aren’t supposed to kss,it was stupid”
He’s apologizing,he even called it stupid.
My most memorable experience,he called it stupid.
It’s so clear it meant nothing to him,i should have known,am so stupid.
“It’s.. it’s okay,you are absolutely right” i said trying hard not to sound hurt.
He was about to say something when an announcement sounded through the speaker.
“Good morning, students of Xavier high,we want to inform you all about the 6 days camp coming up this Friday, so get prepared to have fun”
“Wow, camping will be fun” Brandon said
“Yeah”
Maybe I will use this camp to get rid of any stupid feeling i have.
