It’s Sunday and we went to church
Since I don’t have much money on me,Chris and I decided to walked back to the apartment
it was more like a twenty minutes walk but we could do it
“I didn’t know all this place even exit”I said to Chris starring arround
“yes it does but you know ,for the rich only”Chris replied
“Sis see”Chris yelled pointing at a note board
“I rushed to what he was pointing and read through it”
“they need a cook”I muttered
I looked at the time frame and it was perfect
I could squeeze in and still go to work and back
This what exactly what I needed
“Do you think they will employ someone like me”I said looking down at my dress
“of course”Chris said and dragged my hand to the building
I took a deep breath and and pressed the door bell
“Excuse me ,Hi ,I came here for the cook post I saw outside”I said
He first took a glance at me before gesturing me to come in
I held Chris hand and we walked in
My jaw dropped as I had a proper view of the whole building
The owner must be insanely rich
We rang the doorbell and the door opened
“I’m here to see the owner about the cook job”I said to the middle age lady who opened the door
“come in”she said politely and we walked in
Amazing was an understatement
This was like all those house we watch I. movies and the house I dreamt of living in one day
sadly I’m not sure if that will ever be possible
we sat down on the comfortable couch and looked arround
I heard a footstep coming downstairs and my body tensed immediately
we quickly stood up and I almost ran out of the house
it was my boss
the handsome one
“Good …Good day …sir “I shuttered
I could see he was also shocked starring at me
“sit”he said and I did
His eyes went to Chris who held my hand tightly and back to me
“How did you find my place”he asked
“I was actually passing by when I saw the cook job offer”I replied
“so you want to be my cook”he asked starring at me like he was searching for something in my eyes
“yes..yes sir”I replied
“Are you sure you can do it with the fact that you work for me”he asked again
“yes definitely I can”I replied
“Do you have any experience”he said
“No sir but I can cook very well”I replied
“okay you are to prepare breakfast by six every morning and night buy 7pm”he said and I nodded
“Good your works start tomorrow”he said and I nodded
“Sir how is Kulture and her health” I asked
“she’s stable and went to her grandparents”
he replied
“What’s your name young boy”he asked starring at Chris
“Chris “he replied and he nodded
we left the apartment and went back home exictedly
G0sh I can’t believe I got another job
Finally maybe I will be able to make enough money and get a new apartment

I walked downstairs and saw her
I was surprised to see her again,in my house
I saw a young boy who looks so much like her and of Kulture’s age
I didn’t knew she was married or have a child
But her records she summited said single
Maybe she’s divorced
I could see her nervous she was when she told me about the cooking job
How could someone be working for me and still want to work as a cook
this is going to be alot of stress ,I just hope she can handle it
I decided to give her the job at least to appreciate her for helping my daughter the other day
I just hope Kulture likes this idea
