“ohh lemme guess you are the Barbie kind of girl”he said
“no” I replied back
“oh favorite color “he asked and I felt like punching him
can he just keep quiet already
I shut my eyes tightly as I tried so hard not to punch him in the face
Finally the car came to a halt and i came down Immediately, leaving him behind
“Hey wait “he half running behind me
Gosh is there anything I can do to get him out of my life
His so annoying just like his sister

I was running around in the company trying to put things in order
Turns out being a CEO isn’t as easy as I imagined
It’s a whole lot more than I could ever imagined
Since I was the one in charge ,I had to make sure everything is in order
There were alot of meeting I had to reschedule till Mr Dave is back
The landline rang and I picked up immediately
“Hello”I said
” Benita,I will forward the file for the event this weekend” Clara said
“okay..but what is it actually about” I asked
“it’s a yearly event being held by the company “she said
“ohh okay”I replied
I checked the file and read through it
If this event is this weekend that means I need to get it all set up
I wonder why Mr Dave didn’t even tell me about it earlier
I began making calls and booked hall were the event will hold
I made arrangements for event planners and other stuffs

I packed my things up and hailed a cab to Chris school
I saw him walked out with Kulture and I smiled widely
At least they are walking together,I really want them to be friends
Kulture needs to loosen up .
“Hey “I called smiling at them
“How was school today”I asked Kulture in particular
“fine”she replied and my jaw dropped
I could see Chris smiling at me widely ,am really happy she replied
Driver stopped and we all entered ,Chris and I talked all through the drive and Kulture kept quiet starring at the window
We arrived and both went to the room
I quickly changed into a casual outfit and start cooking
“Do you want to join me “I asked Kulture and she took time before nodding her head
we both entered the kitchen and I told her what to do
To my utmost surprise she has a smiling face on,I guess she was really enjoying it
In no time we were done and set the dining and began eating.
We ate in silence and Chris helped me clear the dishes.
My phone began ringing and I saw it was mr Dave
I didn’t know why but my head skipped a bit
I picked it up and placed it on my ear
“Good … Evening sir”I said
” How are you doing “he asked
“I’m fine “I replied back
“so I just talked to Kulture and funny enough she isn’t complaining about you”Mr Dave said
“so how’s the company”he asked
“fine sir”I replied
“how is the event coming up,I’m sorry I didn’t tell you earlier”he said
“Its okay sir ,I’m working on it “I replied
“thank you so much Benita”he said and I blushed
Thank God he isn’t here to see me
“Goodnight” he said
“Goodnight sir”I replied and the call ended
I smiled widely as I went Into the room,took a shower and collapsed on the bed
I’m just happy things are going pretty well
