Leah’s phone rang breaking the quiet and emotional moment

Seeing the caller ID, Leah’s entire demure changed into one of happiness

Georgia didn’t have to guess who called
It must be Garfield
The beginning of every relationship is always like that

She felt that way when she was with Raymond, it was during her sophomore years did she meet him, he was her senior then in school and somehow they had a crush on each other which led to them dating and their engagement

Why can’t love ever find her?
or maybe it did find her but it never stays

Georgia sighed as she watched Leah step out to answer the call

Few minutes later Leah came hopping like a teenage girl excitedly

“Hmm, did you win a jackpot?
Georgia teased

Leah didn’t pay attention to Georgia’s teasing because she was too excited to notice..

“I’m going out on a date Gi! Gosh what am I going to wear? oh no, I need to go now Georgia, see you later…. don’t miss me too much”
Leah shouted and ran out of the Villa

With a light chuckle and a shake of head, Georgia stood up from the couch to clear the table when Kreme hurriedly came to her side and packed the glasses instead

“You shouldn’t stress yourself Miss”
Kreme spoke gently as his gaze discreetly went to her flat stomach

Georgia was too tired to even notice kreme’s odd behavior nor his gaze and didn’t bother arguing with him, after all, he does that always, never allowing her to do a thing

She slowly nodded and began moving to the stairs but halted

“Kreme?
She called

“Yes miss”

“Should you still be here?

“I don’t understand Miss”
Kreme said

Georgia smiled sadly
“I’m-I’m no longer with your boss, we aren’t in a relationship anymore so should you still be here? with me?

Georgia asked because it confused her
Dylan hired Kreme to be her guard before he went into coma but now that they weren’t together anymore, she was puzzled why Kreme was still staying with her

Kreme nervously scratched his head

How was he going to answer the question without exposing his boss’s plan???!

“Um…..well Miss, the thing is that….I- we guards often get attached to our assigned boss and if we stay with them for so long then it’s impossible to stop being loyal to them even if they aren’t our hired boss”

Kreme never knew he could think of such a lie in such desperate situation but luckily he did

“Ohhhh…… okay but I would advise you not to get too attached to me Kreme”
Georgia uttered

She said that because in the future when she would have to leave the City because of her pregnancy, she wouldn’t want anyone she knew in her life to know her whereabouts or follow her

Even though Dylan, the father of her child doesn’t want anything to do with her, she would never abort her baby

This baby is her flesh and bI.ood

Georgia thought bitterly and subconsciously caressed her belly then turned around and proceeded climbing the stairs

When she was out of sight, Kreme narrowed his eyes slightly

Was it his imagination or is his Miss always conscious of her stomach for some time now?

Kreme started having strange feeling the day they came across Georgia’s stepmom and sister at the boutique

That day her sister had tried to push his Miss and the first thing his miss did was to shield her belly with her arms

He wasn’t all that suspicious then but then his Miss stopped taking drinks that contained even one percent of alcohol in it and only took fruit juices and yogurt

That wasn’t all, she also feels nauseous whenever she wanted to eat some of her favorite dishes before like omelette and porridge.
