As busy as always, keyboard was typed away on, elegant fingers drumming rapidly on the keys without a care in the world
Ryan, the sole entrepreneur of LOKI, sat leisurely lost in thoughts which was unlike him
Ryan was either playing games or doing something that was more ‘Ryanific’ rather than staying idle
His workers whispered amongst themselves while some minded their business
“Hello everyone”
A sweet voice rang out, silencing the entire hall that you could hear a pin a drop silence throughout
👥🗣️: Haaa!, isn’t that Anabelle? Reacher’s Ex?
👥🗣️: My eyes aren’t deceiving me then, thought it was just me
👥🗣️: What is she doing here then? is she back for Reacher?
👥🗣️: Let’s see his reaction
Whispers and murmurs erupted in the hall, the people present discreetly watched Ryan to see his reaction
It wasn’t everytime people get to see their ex’s showing up in front of them, in their office
Anabelle looked straight at Ryan who ignored her presence like she was air
Seeing that she was being ignored, annabelle’s face reddened in shame
He wouldn’t even give her some face in front of these people?!
Well anyways, she was going to accomplish what she came for
She threw a file on Ryan’s desk
“That’s all you need to know about your newly found girlfriend, what’s her name again….. Louise”
Annabella’s eyes darkened when she noticed Ryan’s eyes flicker slightly
“You’ll probably thank me later, I’ll wait for your call Ryan”
She leaned down and gave him a kss on his cheek taking him off guard.

Ryan paused in anger and then dragged Annabelle out of the hall
Everyone Just shockingly stared at the duo till they were out of sight and then mumurs began
“What Ryan?! What?! why are you treating me this way? You know I came back for you”.
Anabelle yelled out of frustration now that they were alone, earning a scoff from Ryan
“Look Anabelle”
Anabelle was taken aback by the way he called her full name instead of the usual ‘Ana’ he calls her when they were together
“You need to understand that your reasons of coming back to this city isn’t important.
At least to me so stop bothering me, what happened to the ‘I ain’t happy staying with a boy who isn’t matured enough to make me happy’?
Does that ring a bell, you vanished totally after sending me a text with those contents, a text!
Not even bothering to meet and say that to me in the eye and now after so many years, you came back and then you think you could just walk right into my life like nothing like that ever happened!
Oh so I’m now a man matured enough to make you happy huh?
Ryan bellowed with shaking fist
To her or anybody else, his outburst might seem to be him getting hurt and still had her in his heart but to him.
His violent expression was because he had lived his life all those years in grief and deprived of the will to love someone else and realizing how he had been missing out on love untill he met Louise made him more angrier
How could he allow her to destroy his life like that!
“The next time you make such advances on me without keeping your distance, I’ll throw away the little feeling of humanity I have towards you”
Ryan warned and that didn’t sound like a threat.
