Am in my car heading to the office and i still can’t believe what Georgeis doing . I don’t think he realizes it but the relationship he has with Merghan is so unhealthy! He might just see it as fun but am sure she’s fallen hard for him.
It’s kind of my relationships with Lisa and thank goodness, that she is now in my past.
I think that Merghan over heard everything me and George were talking about in his bedroom ,because I found her standing close to the door acting all mysterious when I left the room.
Am sure this is not going to end well!
” Good morning sir, ” That’s my secretary Camilla.
” Morning, I need you to help me catch up with everything I’ve missed for the past two days. ”
” Yes sir, and there’s someone waiting for you in your office. ”
” Who? ”
” A certain woman who claims to soon be the mother of your child. ”
” What? !”
The mother of my child? What the fk!
I walk in the office just to find Ivy sitted comfortably .
I should have seen this coming, this girl is totally nuts!
” Hi Alex, morning. ” She stands and walks towards me.
” What the heck are you doing here? ”
” I came to see you. ”
” I told you that I would call you when I need you ivy! And why are telling everyone that you you are the mother of my child ? You know that this is supposed to be a secret!”
” Am sorry okay? Your secretary didn’t want to let me in and that’s why I told that. ”
” Don’t ever do that again! ”
” I wont, i swear, ” she says sounding sincere.” I was just tired of waiting for you to call me and so I decided to come and ask you when we are, supposed to start with the act. ”
” We are not starting anything anymore. I’ve decided to tell my mum the truth once and for all. ”
” But… When did you decide that? ”
” Actually…just now. I can’t deal with all this drama right now! ”
” Isn’t that going to affect her health ? ”
” It might but continuously lying to her will also make it worse. Don’t worry, am still going to pay you your full amount. ”
” No. ” She says confusing me.
” No? ”
” Yes, no. I always love working for my money Alex,” she says sitting opposite me. ” I only agreed to this because I love been near you but I’d never take advantage of you. I see you as a respectable guy mainly because you’ve never tried to take advantage of me, even after I practically threw myself at you. ”
Well, that’s new!
I wish Stacy was more like her.
” Okay….. I guess you are not as crazy as I thought. ”
” Oh am crazy all right, no doubt about that ,” she says and I can’t help but smile. ” Okay… I’ll let you work now. See you when you see me and don’t hesitate to call if you ever change your mind, ” she says with a wink and walks out.
Well, at least that’s over and done with.
I decide to call Ava and find out what she and vee are up to.
” Hi sis, ” i say as soon as she picks up.
” Hey bro, what’s up? ”
” I just called to check up on you and vee. How’s she doing? ”
” Awww…thats so sweet. ”
” What is? ”
” You calling to check up on vee. I knew you’d fall for her sooner or later, ” she says and I can tell she’s smiling.
” Am not falling for her!am just concerned.”
” Okay Alex, anyway…… Oh my God vee! ” she yells and the suddenly, the call is disconnected.
What just happened?!
I try calling her again but her phone is off. I call Leo but he to is unreachable and that makes me more worried.
Fk! I cur$e my heart beat increasing as i dial Liam’s no. He’s one of the bodyguard that I hired for Ava.
” What’s happening? Is vee alright?!” I ask the second he answers.
” She’s fine but she was almost run over. ”
” What? are you sure she’s okay?! ”
” Yes but I don’t think it was an accident. The person on the car had every intention of hitting her. ”
“Are you sure about her? ”
” Yes I am. The driver is a so called Merghan and your sister seems to agree with me.
Merghan? I knew this was going to get messy!
Am one hundred percent sure that this is all about George and there’s no way I’ll let them get vee involved in their crazy relationship.
” So where are you guys right now? ” I ask.
” Leo is driving Vee and Ava to the hospital and am right behind them. ”
” Okay.. Make sure they are safe. I’ll call you later. ”
” Okay. ” he says and I hang up.
I take my car keys, walking to the door but before I can open it, my mum walks in.
” Where are you going? Aren’t you supposed to be working? ”
” Something important came up mum and i have to take care of it right away. ”
” I bet it has something to do with that sister of yours, right, ” she says walking towards me, standing next to the desk.
” Yes and please don’t insult her. Don’t you think its about time you start mending your relationship with her? She’s been through a lot and I know she’d love it if you went to see her and showed even a little concern. ”
” That, I can’t promise but don’t worry, I already went over to see her. ”
” You did?! ”
” Yes and I met my future daughter in law to, ” she says all smiles. ” Why didn’t you tell me that you two had already moved in together ?”
Daughter in law? Could Ivy have gone to my apartment, before coming here?!
” I don’t know what you are talking about. ”
” Really now! Why are you trying to hide her from me? If you are scared that I won’t like her then don’t, I already like violet alot. ”
Vee? What’s happening?!
” Did she tell you that she was my girlfriend? ”
” Yes, why? ”
” Nothing. ”
Why would she do that?
” Okay. Anyway, you two have to start planning the wedding already.I don’t want my grandchild to be born out of wedlock, ” she says and I look at her, my eyes wide open.
What’s with mum and weddings?
” Why are you so surprised? ” she asks. “Weren’t you planning on marrying her. ”
“I was but don’t you think it’s way to soon for that? ” I say deciding to play along. Am not sure why vee lied to my mum but I know she has must have a good explanation for this.
” What do you mean to soon? Violet is pregnant and you two are already living together! ” she says looking at me like I was crazy.
” Okay mum, we’ll talk about that later. I really have to go. ”
” Okay, I’ll wait for your Dad. I need to have a talk with him. ”
” Okay, bye, ” I say walking out
Am in George’s office in about twenty minutes and am not surprised to find Merghan there.
” Am glad I found you two together ? ” I say glaring at her. ” So, what makes you think that you can drive around, trying to kill people and get away with it! ”
” It was an accident Alex. ” George is quick to defend her. ”
” Did she tell you that? ”
” Yes she did and I believe her. Meghan would never do something like that intentionally. ”
” What is wrong with you? Why can’t you just see it? ”
” See what? ”
” The fact that Merghan is crazy about you and she’s jealous of Vee and that’s why she tried to kill her. ”
” Am not in love with him. Whatever happened was an accident and I already apologized to Vee, ” Merghan says standing up, crocodile tears falling down her face.
“I don’t believe you. ”
” Come on Alex! Why are you being so protective over Vee all of a sudden? ”
” Vee is like family to me now and no one messes with my family! ”
” You know that I’d never let anyone hurt her and if Merghan had any bad intentions, I’ll find out and make her pay myself,” George says.
” Okay, but stay away from Vee while you are at it. I wont let you anywhere near her until you are completely done with Merghan ,” I say looking sternly at him.
” You can’t do that! ” he says getting up in anger.
” Watch me do it and you , ” I say turning to look at Merghan. ” If you ever try to hurt Vee again in any way, I’ll make you regret it! ”
With that, I walk out of the place leaving them both speechless.
Vee is already dealing with a lot and I wont let anyone mess with her again. Not on my watch.
