ELI’S BEDROOM**
Eli lay on his bed, feeling so restless as Ruby’s words and actions kept on flashing on his head.
“How can she be so impulse?” Eli screamed as he sat up.
“Ki…ssing me out of the blue like that.. Does she think I’m that easy” Eli stuttered and slowly his hand moved to his lips as he caressed his lips with a smile.
“Wait a minute, what the hell do I think I’m doing?” Eli snapped out of his thoughts then went out of his bed, placing his hands on his waist.
…..”Eli let’s date”…..
Ruby’s words kept on ringing his Eli’s ears and he boost into laughter as he blushed hard.
“Since when did she develop feelings for me?”
“Am I that good looking?” Eli questioned with a wide smile as he stood in front of the mirror, admiring himself.
Eli placed one of his fingers on his lips as he reminisces on his kissing scene with Ruby.
Eli ran and fell on his bed playfully.
“How can she fall so hard for me? How do I deal with this one? She looks like the difficult type to handle. She doesn’t take no for an answer” Eli smiled as he tried to hide his excitement.
He picked up his phone deliberating on giving Ruby a call.
should I give her a call? She might still have lots to say to me? I’m not calling her because I miss her, I just want to hear her elaborate more.
Eli thought with a nod. He was about dialing Ruby’s number but he threw his phone aside and ruffled his hair frustratedly.
“Why am I making it so obvious? This isn’t the first time a girl confessed to me but what’s wrong with me? For some strange reasons I feel happy” Eli said almost in a whisper and he looked around foolishly to see if anyone was eavesdropping on him.
Come on, I’m acting even more strange right now. Eli groaned in his head and buried his faces on his pillow and screamed.
“I’ve finally lost it”
Eli’s phone started ringing and he picked up his phone in a hurry.
His eyes widened as Ruby’s name popped out as the caller.
He covered his mouth with his palm in excitement.
Eli lay back on his bed, resting his head on his pillow before taking the call.
“Yes Ruby, why are you calling? It’s late already” Eli asked coldly.
“It’s late already but why aren’t you asleep yet?” Ruby asked over the phone and Eli cleared his throat.
“I was about falling asleep when your call came in so you’re basically the reason I’m not asleep yet” Eli said and he raised his eyebrows.
Wait a minute, is it just me or I just sounded like I’ve been thinking about her. That’s a bit too obvious. Eli groaned in his head.
“I see” Ruby sulked.
“But why are you calling?” Eli asked.
“I’m calling because I can’t fall asleep. I’ve got you crowded in my mind and foolishly I was hoping you had me in mind as well” Ruby said slowly and Eli smiled widely.
“Don’t you have other things to think of, besides it’s late you should get some sleep” Eli nagged.
“Eli are you sure, things won’t work between the both of us?” Ruby asked dispirited.
“Of course, I remember telling you this. It won’t work out so stop trying, you will only get hurt” Eli uttered patiently waiting for Ruby to butter him up.
“Okay, good night” Ruby said and hung up.
Eli looked at his phone and laughed out angrily.
“Okay!”
“Good night!” Eli repeated with a scoff staring at his phone.
“Fine, good night to you too” Eli half yelled at his phone and tossed it aside.
“I can’t believe she just said okay. What’s okay? Will okay erase the kss or will okay unkiss the kss? I can’t believe she just used that lame word on me. Okay, wow bravo Ruby”
“You really ended up pissing me off tonight” Eli said angrily and shut his eyes.

Weston drove Jemma back home.
“It’s getting pretty late already, you should get some sleep” Weston said with a smile.
“Thanks for dropping me off. You should get some sleep if you get home as well and about what happened earlier at the hotel, I’m hoping you don’t take Caleb’s words seriously.
It’s obvious he said all those things out of jealousy” Jemma comforted and Weston gave a half smile.
“It’s all under the drain, don’t let it bother you. I’m just worried Caleb will try doing something even more stupid or harmful to you” Weston said worriedly.
“What harm can he possibly do to me? We’ve both lived together for years, I don’t think he’s that harmful” Jemma said and Weston frowned.
“That’s the more reason why you should stay away from him and be watchful.
I can’t bare to see you in any sort of danger or should I get a warrant from the police?” Weston asked and Jemma laughed.
“It hasn’t gotten to that extent. Let’s not get the police involved, I don’t want the spread of unnecessary rumors and I don’t think the kids will like the idea either.
Let’s just watch it for the time being and thanks a lot for tonight” Jemma smiled.
“Just like you said, I’m hoping he doesn’t get out of control. I don’t think I will be able to hold myself back if he does anything to you.
Give me your hand” Weston said softly and Jemma stretched out her hand.
Weston brought out an ointment from his pocket and applied it on the spot Caleb grabbed on.
“I’m sorry. I couldn’t even stop him from touching you” Weston uttered in remorse.
“Come on, you gave him a punch on my behalf. I think that’s more than enough, with that I don’t think Caleb will pull such an act again” Jemma smiled and Weston blew air on the area he applied the ointment.
“Make use of this, after freshening up. It will help heal the reddish spots before tomorrow” Weston fakes a smile as he still felt some guilt.
