I walked through the school hallways in thought. Why will Sophie do such thing?
I stopped when I saw Sophie talking with Xander. He seemed really impatient.
I quickly hid by a locker so I could spy on them.
He shoved her off but she quickly held his face kssing him.
I gasped at the sight.
“What are you staring at?”. Someone said behind me.
I turned. “You?”.
“Yes me”. He looked behind me. “What were you looking at?”.
I turned to see Sophie no longer there. Just only Xander staring into space.
“You were spying on him?”. J.R asked surprised.
I tapped him. “What?!! No”.
He crossed his arms. “Then what were you looking at?”.
“Umm, something like, uh, yeah, something”. I said nervously.
He raised an eyebrow. “Something? Come on, you are totally a bad liar”.
I sighed. “Okay fine. But whatever I tell you, promise me you will keep it secret”.
He bit his lowers lips softly. “Depends on if its juicy or not”.
“Okay. I just saw Sophie kssing Xander”.
J.R didn’t say anything. He just kept looking at me.
“Who else knows about it?”. J.R asked.
I shrugged. “I don’t know, maybe, Samantha because I heard Sophie telling her that she is in love with Xander”.
“Let me get this straight, they kssed?”.
“Sophie kssed him”. I defended.
He scoffed. “Of course I know she was the one who kissed him. Xander can’t kss any random girl like that”.
“So what do we do?”. I asked.
J.R looked at me weirdly. “We? Who’s the we?”.
“What do you mean by ‘who’s the we’ “. I said. “Don’t you think Sophie did it for a reason?”.
“All I know is that Sophie is a cr@zy psychotic btch”. He said disgusted.
I gasped. “Wait. You don’t like her? How can you not like her? I mean, she’s Adrian girlfriend and_”. I rambled on.
He cut me off. “I get that Adrian likes her but that doesn’t give her the guts to play with his feelings”.
“How long have you known she likes Xander?”.
“Ever since the day_”.
“Hey guys_”. Audrey interrupted him coming over.
“Audrey. What are you doing here?”. J.R asked.
She ignored him facing me. “I can see you guys are bonding”.
My cheeks lighted up. “No we were just_”.
“She did it again. Sophie”. J.R interrupted me.
Audrey frowned. “What do you mean by that?”.
Lily came over. “What’s up guys? Am i missing something?”.
“Sophie kssed Xander. Again”. J.R said.
Lily’s eyes widened. “Holy sht. That btch”.
I paused. “Wait a minute! What do you mean again? Has she done this before?”.
“We have got to tell Adrian this”. Liky said.
I agreed. “Yeah and Ashley too. I mean, it was her boy-friend who got kssed”.
“But how will Ashley respond”. J.R said. “Because the way you girls react to situations like this are_”.
Audrey cut him off. “Wait Lily, you remember what you told me this morning?”.
Lily furrowed my eyebrows. “That we should ditch class?”.
Audrey shook her head. “No not that, the thing about Sophie and Ashley”.
“Oh yeah. I only asked why Sophie hated Ashley”.
Audrey snapped her fingers. “This could be the reason. Sophie might have figured out that Xander is totally nuts for Ashley”.
“Its all making sense now. What if Ashley’s leg sprain was on purpose”. I said.
J.R chuckled. “You are way off point”.
“Ignore him. Continue”. Audrey said.
“What if Axel planned Ashley’s leg sprain so that Sophie can have some time with Xander for a while”.
J.R smirked. “You make a pretty good point. Nice one, glasses.
I frowned. “Seriously, first you called me chatterbox earlier then you now call me glasses”.
“What can I say? I’m great at making nicknames”.
I rolled my eyes. “So what we do?”.
“Jessy, you need to make sure Sophie doesn’t go anywhere near Xander. J.R, you stay with Xander for the rest of today”.
I nodded. “What about you and Lily?”.
“We’ll keep an eye on Axel”.
The bell rang immediately.
I groaned. “Finally. Gym class is over”.
“Bye guys”. I said walking away.
I went to my next class. Luckily, Sophie was here which made spying on her easily.
She kept on showing Samantha a video on her phone and they giggled everything. I have a bad feeling about this.
Classes went by fast and school was finally over.
I went to the school’s nurse to see Ashley. I entered and met no one.
I walked out only to bump into a nurse.
“I’m so sorry. I wasn’t looking”. The nurse apologized.
“No its fine”. I said. “I’m actually looking for someone”.
“Oh. You mean Ashley?”.
I nodded. “Yeah. She’s my best-friend, i thought i’ll find her here but_”.
She cut me off. “I called her parents and they picked her up earlier”.
I let out a gasp. “Oh. Thanks for the information”.
I went out of the office disappointed. Well at least I get to see her later when I go over our project.

“For the last time, i’m not skipping detention”. I said to J.R.
“No one will even notice that we weren’t there”. J.R argued.
“You got us detention in the first place”.
“Well we don’t need to go, Lets just skip”. He persuaded me.
“Okay fine but if we are caught then i’m definitely denying you”.
He chuckled. “Fine by me”.
We were walking to Adrian’s locker but I stopped seeing Ian with Sophie.
“Why did you stop?”. J.R asked.
“Nothing. Just go ahead”. I said.
J.R crossed his arms. “Seriously? You are acting this way because she kssed you?”.
“How did you know_”.
He cut me off. “Doesn’t matter. What matters is that we warn Adrian before its too late”.
“He won’t listen. He’s cr@zy over Sophie”. I replied.
“Then we will tell him that you are dating Ashley”.
I frowned at him. “Are you nuts? How’s that going to help?”.
“Sophie kssed you and you are Ashley’s boyfriend, if Ashley finds out about it then she will be hurt. And if Adrian knows you two are dating, he will be hurt because Ashley’s hurt because_”.
I cut him off. “Just stop there. You are confused”.
“The point is, Adrian will do anything for Ashley”. J.R explained.
“And how does that help in making sure Adrian does not get a broken heart?”. I asked him amusedly.
“You are his best-friend so figure that one out”.
I chuckled. “You are cr@zy”.
“So good-luck with that”. He said pushing me forward.
I paused. “Are you not coming?”.
“What!! No way. I’m heading home”.
“I’ll go with you”.
We went to the school driveway and he paused.
“What is it now?”. I ask.
“Lets drive in the your car. I’ll call my driver to pick up mine”.
I shrugged. “Fine by me”.
We got into my car and I drove off. Soon, We got to J.R’s mansion.
The gates opened automatically and i drove in. The mansion was really big and was glittered in Diamonds.
I unlocked the car.
J.R stopped me. “Wait”.
He took out his gold-decorated mask and wore it.
“You had that in your backpack?”.
He nodded. “Of course”.
We got out heading straight for the main house and entered. The sitting room was really dazzling.
“Lets just go to my room”.
We ran upstairs to his room and we dropped our backpacks.
I fell on his large bed tiredly.
“So .. You staying the night?”.
“Yep. Don’t feel like going back”. I replied.
He sighed and came over by my side. “You are being hard on your Mum, you know that right?”.
I frowned. “I don’t wanna talk about it”.
He raised in surrender. “Fine. I’m cool with that”.
“I’m worried about something else”.
He snickered. “What? Puberty”.
I smacked his head. “No dumbs. How am I supposed to tell Ashley that Sophie kssed me?”.
“Yeah, you are right. She’s not gonna take it right”.
I rolled my eyes. “So help me”.
He shrugged. “Just tell her. She’ll understand, i mean, she trusts you”.
“Yeah maybe”.
“But don’t you think she did it for a reason?”.
“What?”. I asked.
“Sophie. She might have kssed you for a reason”. J.R explained.
I furrowed my eyebrows. “She can’t just kss me out of the blues”.
“Exactly”. J.R exclaimed.
“So what do you think she has in mind?”.
