Episode 22
FINAL MISSION
Author’s POV

“Let me out of here, stop this madness and let me out” Desmond shouted ferociously.
” Good luck, have fun” the warden said waving as he left.
As desmond made to turn one of the men grabbed him by his cloth and fling him away like he was nothing.
” Hope you’re ready for what’s to come ” the man said and charge at him, desmond quickly stood up and defend himself.
He dodged all of the man’s punch and punch him back but it’s not too effective as the man grab his hand and punch him in the face.
The rest of them were cheering the man as he beat up Desmond and there’s blood all over his face.
The man continue punching him very hard and it seems desmond is giving up then he remembered the voice of warded.
” if you want to save your family, then you have to survive ”
Desmond saw a f©rk on the ground beside him then he picked it up and $tab the man on the neck.
” Ahhhhhh” the man yelled which caused the rest to stop and look what’s happening.
Desmond stab the man multiple times till there’s bl©©d all over his body , then two more charged at him.
He saw them then charge back at them, the two of them tried to hit him but he dodged it.
The first one tried to punch him, he dodged it and $tab him with the f©rk, the second guy tried to kick him then grab hold of his leg and $tab his leg as well.
Desmond pulled out the f©rk and then $tab them both on their head till they become motionless on the ground.
The rest of them got angry and they all charge at him together, desmond tried to run away from them but they caught him.
They all continue punching him very hard at every chance, one of them carried him and throw him away.
He landed on one of the weight, two of the men charge at him then Desmond pick up one of the weight hit them with it which cause them to go down immediately.
Three more charge at him and the first one tried to grab him then he hit him hard with the weight which rendered the arm useless.
He did the same to the rest of them hitting them with the weight which did a lot of damage on them.
They either have a broken arm, broken leg, dislocated shoulder, broken neck and contoured face with blood everywhere.
Immediately he fought them all he dropped the weight and fell down unconscious.

Agent Mackerel and Simon got to Hassan Al-Kareem’s house then agent mackerel scrutinized the place.
” is he the one that took my family?” Simon asked.
” I don’t know, I don’t if he has anything to do with him, I’m just following what mike told me” she said.
” don’t come out of the car” agent mackerel said.
” okay” he replied.
Agent mackerel came out of the car and walked towards the house then she knocked and the gate opened.
” How may I help you? ” the security said.
” I’m here to see Mr Hassan Al-Kareem?……i have a very important information for him” she said.
” Mr Hassan is not around, you should come back” the security said.
” ohh… Uhm, by when will he be back?” she asked.
” in two days time?” the security replied.
” where did he go? ” she asked.
” I don’t know ” the security said.
” okay…….. Thanks, I’ll just come back” she said then left the place and entered back the car.
” so how did it go? ” Simon asked.
” the man is not around but it’s possible he could be the one ” she said.
” why did you say that?” Simon asked.
” I mean it’s either a coincidence or he has something to do with the abduction cause it’s a very weird coincidence” agent mackerel said.
” if that’s it then we need to search the place ” Simon said.
” and what authority do we have to do that?” she said.
” then let’s go to the police, they can help us find them” he said.
” like I told you earlier, the police can never be trusted……especially in moment like this” she said.
” then what should we do…..cause I’m restless, I’m growing impatience” he said.
” we need to think of a better plan” she said.
” what should we do?” Simon asked.
” uhmm……..let’s go back to where they were abducted ” she said.
” back there?……. What for? ” he asked.
” I only know Mike for some days but I know exactly how he thinks and operate, I know something he would do” she said then Simon drove off.
They got back to the Da Silva residence and entered then agent mackerel started looking around everywhere.
” what are you looking for?” Simon asked.
” Mike would never leave his family unprotected” she said as she keeps looking around the place.
After a while looking around the compound hoping to see a camera but she found something else on the wall.
” at least now we know they were not injured when they were abducted ” she said.
” how do you know that?” he asked.
” you see this on the wall, it’s a super metallic magnetic device…….check this out” agent mackerel said then she pulled out her gun.
” what are you doing?” Simon said as agent shoot towards the door.
He was surprised when the bullet didn’t hit the door but instead it was pulled to the wall by the device.
” He used the device to protect them against any use of gun” she said.
” Okay…..but how’s that supposed to help us find them?” Simon asked.
” you’re right, it doesn’t but if they didn’t use guns it means they don’t want them dead, they are planning something ” she said.
” what do you think they are planning?” he asked.
” I don’t know but it gives us the chance to find them while we can” she said.
” so what do we do now?” Simon asked.
” I would’ve said we should track their phone but their phone is here in the house ” she said.
” I’m going to need the guy’s phone number, I have to track it” she said.
” I can find out from the hospital where he works” Simon said.
” Okay then……..do that and meet me here” she said then Simon left.

” what plan?……. What plan are you talking about?” Vickie said in fright as Hassan grin widely.
” whatever it is you’re planning it will never work” Grace said.
” oh darling, you’re not listening…….my plans always works maybe I should just tell you about my plans” he said.
” My plan is that I want him to watch as I kill you all, I want him to experience your death, I want everything to happen right in his presence ” he said.
” No….. Please don’t, you can’t do that….. Please take me, leave my children out of this ” Mrs Silva pleaded.
” that’s very motherly of you cause that’s what every parent would do for their children ” Hassan said.
” I would’ve listened to you but your son didn’t give my father the same privilege instead he killed them all” he continued.
” As I was saying about my plan, like I said I want everything to happen in his presence but how do I do that when he’s in prison ”
” So I need to get him out, I don’t have much power in Russia so I thought of a way to get him out”
” Not long ago a little birdie told me the colonel is requesting for his transfer back to Nigeria but the Russian authority denied it”
” so I make up a plan which will give the Russian no other choice but to release him to them but all you son needs to do is to survive”
” He is to fight with some inmate which I had someone arranged for him, I told them they can kill him but I know that will be very difficult cause I know who your son is”
” so he will have to survive for your sake, this attack will make the Russian have no other choice but to release him to the colonel and transfer him back to Nigeria”
” Immediately he got back here in Nigeria, he will be released and he will plan to come for you which is where the last phase is going to take place ” he concluded.
” so what do you think about my plan?” he asked.
” you’re ev1l” Grace shouted at him.
” we are all evil darling” he said then left them.
As he went out of the room his phone started ringing, he checked the caller ID then he picked.
? ” Hello boss” the security said.
? ” Yes Gafar, what is it?” He said.
? ” Boss, a young lady came to the house looking for you ” the security said.
? ” who is she?” he asked.
? ” I don’t know Sir……..I haven’t seen her before” the security said.
? ” what’s her name?” he asked.
? ” She didn’t give it” the security said.
? ” what did she want? ” he asked.
? ” she said she have a very important information for you” the security said then he think of who it could be.
? ” Sir, her face was caught on camera, should I send it to you?” the security said.
? ” That will be great ” he said.
? ” okay Sir, I will send it” the security said then the call ended.
‘ Who could it be?…… And what important information could she have, this can’t be a coincidence, I don’t have any female working for me’
Those are the thought running through his mind then his phone beep as a notification came to his phone.
He opened the message and saw the picture of the lady but she’s not someone he know.
Then he went to the room where the rest of his men were and as he got there they all stare at him.
” Bosar ” he called.
” Yes Boss ” Bosar answered.
” I want you to do a background check on this lady and do so quickly ” he said giving the phone to him.
” Yes boss” Bosar answered collecting the phone.

Desmond’s POV
(Few hours later)
.
I woke up and found myself in a different location, different place, this is definitely not the prison.
I can’t open my eyes fully due to my swollen face, there’s a drip attached to my hand.
Then I remembered my family and the situation on ground then I tried to move but I couldn’t as my left hand has been cuffed to the bed.
I groan in pain as everywhere is aching me then someone entered who looks like a nurse.
” Ohh…..you’re awake” the lady said.
” who are you? ” I asked.
” I’m nurse Olga…..and you my hero needs to rest” she said.
” your hero? ” I asked confused.
” yeah……i heard you killed the evil that cause my family so much trouble, so I’m grateful for that ” she said in whisper.
” how long have I been out ” I asked.
” just for a couple of hours” she replied.
” I need to get out of here” I said.
” of course that’s what you want but you’re still under arrest, I wish there’s a way I could help” she said.
” can I use your phone?……even just for a minute ” Desmond asked and the nurse think about it.
” promise it won’t exceed one minute ” she said.
” I promise” Desmond said then she look around before giving the phone to him quickly.
” thanks” Desmond said then dialled his mother’s number and wait for it to connect.
Then the phone started ringing but no one picked up, the phone rang for few more times until someone picked.
The person said nothing which means it’s not my mom, I waited for the person to speak up but nothing.
? ” Hello” I said.
? ” Mike?…….is that you?” I heard female voice.
? ” who are you?” I asked.
? ” it’s me, agent mackerel ” she said and I was confused.
? ” agent mackerel?……..why are you the one answering this?” I asked.
? ” I’m at your house Mike, the place you gave me the address ” she said.
? ” where are the occupants?” I asked.
? ” I’m sorry Mike I was too late, by the time I got here they were gone, they were kidnapped ” she said and I feel like I was stabbed with a knife in my heart.
? ” Y..yo..you said whattt?” I said.
? ” I’m sorry Mike, I really am” she said.
? ” No….No….it can’t be, it can’t be possible ” I said breathing heavily trying to control myself.
? ” don’t worry Mike, we will find them……I’m working on a way ” she said.
? ” Please do everything you can” I said.
? ” I promise ” she replied then I ended the call and give it back to the nurse.
” is everything okay?” the nurse asked but I didn’t respond which I know she got the meaning.
” I’ll take my leave ” she said then left the room.
Nothing must happen to them, My dream must not come to pass, I can’t lose anyone of them.
I’d rather die than to let anyone of them die, I’m the cause of all this, I should be the one to take the fall.
I heard footsteps coming towards the door then the door opened and the colonel and his brother came in.
” Oh Mike, how are you feeling?,…and why are you crying?” the DIG asked and I touched my face and see tears.
” it’s nothing Sir……I’m fine” I replied cleaning my tears.
” do you need anything?” the colonel asked.
” yes sir, I need to get out” I said.
” well, I have goodnews…….you will be transferred to the Nigerian tomorrow ” he said.
” How did the Russian agreed to that?” I asked.
” The fight that happened at the gym made it possible for us to have full reason for the transfer ” the colonel said.
” That’s a very nice trick you pulled in there but it almost took your life” the DIG said.
” what are you talking about? ” I asked.
” is it not your plan to fight with your fellow inmate, so you can be transferred ” he said.
” No Sir…….that wasn’t my plan” I said.
” oh, then what happened?” he asked then I remembered what Hassan said about getting me out.
” this is someone else’s plan…….I know who’s behind this” I said.
” what are you talking about? ” colonel asked.
” someone is punishing me, he wants revenge badly and he’s gonna get by any means necessary ” I said.
” who is this person?” he asked.
” I’ll tell you when we get to Nigeria ” I said.

Hassan is still in the building making out his final plan against Desmond then Bosar came to him.
” Boss” Bosar said.
” yes Bosar ” he replied.
” we found nothing on the girl” Bosar said.
” nothing?……not even school certificate?….or social media?” he asked.
” Nothing Sir, it’s like she never exist” Bosar said.
” then she’s definitely hiding something……just like MIA ” he said.
” you’re right Sir ” Bosar said.
” in the CCTV footage, she came with a car trace the car and find her whereabouts ” he said.
” what should we do to her?” Bosar asked.
” I have a bad feeling concerning her…..bring her to me and if she fight back………. KILL HER”
