FINAL MISSION

Hassan advanced towards Desmond as he has beaten him up and his nose is already bl.eeding.
” In your next life you’ll learn not to piece off the wrong person ” Hassan said then he pulled out a pistol gun and pointed it at him.
” Please don’t…….NOO” Grace cried.
” Just promise me one thing…….that you will let my family go” Desmond said.
” I don’t know…….maybe after I kill you and I feel satisfied then I’ll spare them” Hassan said.
He shot him four times on the chest and Desmond went down then the light went off, and everywhere became dark.
” what happened?……what’s going on?” Hassan shouted.
” we have no idea sir” one of the men answered then someone switched on the touch but Desmond is nowhere to be found.
” where is he?……..i shot him just now….. Where is he?” Hassan shouted as he started looking everywhere but couldn’t find him.
” Sir, the girl is missing as well” one of his men shouted.
” whaaat, how is this happening?……..where are they?” Hassan shouted then they heard gunshots from outside.
” How is this possible?……..how did they get out there?”
” Find him……i want them found right now, spread out” Hassan said then they all did as he commanded.
” And Get the light back on”

The colonel entered the premises and started shooting at the men, they also open fire at him.
The colonel used the cars as cover and he shoot back at them killing most of them.
He draw closer to them as he continue shooting at them, the men keeps coming out and started shooting.
Desmond ran away with his sister picking their step carefully cause the place is very dark and the only mean of light is the moonlight.
” hurry up Grace……they will be onto us in a minute ” Desmond said as they ran away.
” Brother, I saw you got shot…… How are you still standing?” grace asked as they run.
” Luckily, I got saved by the bulletproof……. If he had targeted my head then that’s it………….”
” c’mon hurry up”
As they were running one of the men appeared right before them but Desmond was quick enough to grab him.
Desmond punched him real hard and skillfully took the gun from him then shoot him dead.
” c’mon grace” Desmond said as he took his sister and they keep around the building.
Some men appeared right before them and Desmond shoot them down and they continue running.
” keep your step steady and stay behind me” Desmond said as they ran.
Hassan’s men keeps coming and Desmond continue shooting them down till they reached outside the building.
Desmond saw the men outside shooting at the colonel and Desmond shoot them from behind till they all went down.
” Run Grace ” Desmond shouted and they ran towards the colonel and the colonel took them to where he parked the car.
” Brother, what about mom and sister Vickie ?” Grace asked.
” Don’t worry they are safe” the colonel assured.
” Grace, you have to go with him” Desmond said as she entered the car.
” what are you talking about?…..aren’t you coming?” she asked.
” Desmond, we have to go” Col. Said.
” I can’t………i need to finish this” Desmond said.
” they are too many in there…….you can’t take on them on your own” the colonel said.
” Brother please let’s go ” Grace pleaded.
” I’m sorry but I can’t,……. I won’t be able to sleep knowing very well that he’s out there…………..”
“……..and I know very well that he won’t rest as well until he get to us, so I need to make sure it all ends here” Desmond said.
” Take her out of her” Desmond said then grab his gun.
” here you’ll need this ” the colonel said giving him a pistol and some cartridge and also four grenade.
” Thank you very much Sir ” desmond said collecting it from him then he turned to his sister.
” Be safe okay……i love you” Desmond said.
” I love you too……..be careful ” she said then Desmond ran back towards the house.
The colonel entered the car then ignited the engine and drove off.

Bosar and the remaining of his men are all out and about to enter the car in order to go after them.
” Bosar……..it’s not reachable ” one of the men said.
” Try it again…….i need to let the boss know of what happened here” Bosar said.
” Bosar….it’s the same……..it’s seems they jammed the signal” the man said.
” Then let’s get out of here” Bosar said.
” okay, but we have……………..” the man couldn’t complete his statement as a bullet hit his head.
” TAKE COVER ” Bosar shouted and they all ran to shield themselves in the process three more got shot.
The men returned fire then Bosar looked up and see Jane shooting at them then he fire at her.
” I’m so gonna kill this bitch” he said.

Jane continue shooting at them and she use the wall as cover then he noticed them hiding behind a car.
She stopped shooting then she bring out two grenade and threw it at the cars and before the men could run away the car blew up killing about seven of them.
She continue firing at them limiting the men to ten then he bring out her last grenade and threw it at the others.
The grenade went off killing two more then she came out openly and started firing at them.
She shoot them all till it was remaining just her, Bosar and one other man then the three of them ran out of bullets.
The three of them came out with dagger in their hands and about to face each other.
” it will be my pleasure taking your life ” Bosar said as they draw closer to her.
“.Enough talk boy, why don’t you prove it” Jane replied then they started fighting.
Jane tried to dodge their advances but Bosar draw the first blood, the other guy charged at her then she grabbed his hand and stab his back.
Bosar also charged at her then he released the other guy then dodge Bosar’s advances.
As Bosar charged at her she miscalculated which allow Bosar to land her a very heavy blow on the face which sent her to the ground.
It took her some seconds before she could get back on her feet, Bosar came and the other guy came at her.
She manage to dodge them and when she saw an open chance, she $tab the other guy on his chest and he went down.
Bosar saw this when made to kick her and she grabbed his leg and $tab him multiple times.
He screamed out loud then made to punch her and she caught his hand again and stab him multiple times on his hand causing him to yell louder.
She then went behind him, grabbed his head then slit his throat and she left the place.

” Boss…….they’ve escaped ” one of his men said.
” how is this possible?……….how did he manage to escape?” he shouted then punched the man on the face.
” you’re all useless…… Worthless, how can one man get past all of you, what’s the use of having so many of you around” Hassan said.
” He made a very bad choice with what he just did…………”
” Call Bosar right away….and have them eliminate the two women ” Hassan said.
” yes boss ” the man said then dialled Bosar’s phone.
” Boss, it’s not reachable ” the man said.
” what do you mean it’s not reachable?……..dial it again ” hassan said then he did again.
” boss, it’s still the same” the man said.
” what’s happening?……..Contact someone else over there” Hassan said then the man did so.
” Boss……Negative ” he said.
” NOO, no no no,…… It can’t be, this can’t be HAPPENING ” he screamed then they heard gunshots from outside.
” Boss, he’s back” One of the men said.
” Then now is the time for payback…………let’s make his death confirm this time around ” he said as they all grab their weapon and went after him.

Desmond ran into the compound and started firing at them as they keep coming out.
He being out a grenade and threw it at their position which blew up the place, killing some in the process.
Desmond advances towards them and continue shooting at them, hassan and his men also fires back at him.
Then Desmond came out of hiding and fire at them, killing them at the process.
They also shoot back at him but the bulletproof prevented him from getting hurt but he tried to cover his head.
Desmond bring out grenade and threw it at their position and the place blew up, the rest of return fire.
The men are surprised of him not going down and they tried harder but Desmond got to them first.
When Hassan see that his men are remaining just four he entered one of the cars and drove off.
When Desmond noticed this he finish off the four men and ran after Hassan, he started shooting at the car till the bullet hit the tire which cause the car to tumble.
Desmond ran to the car and pulled out Hassan from the car then punch him to the ground.
” you can’t do this?…….you can’t have the blood of a whole family on your hand” Hassan said spurting out blood.
” I don’t care about your Maniac family……..you all got what you deserve ” Desmond said punching him again.
” you dare go after my family?” Desmond said as he gave him a hard punch on the face.
” I’ll make sure in your next life…….you won’t dare come after my family again” Desmond said then bring out a grenade.
” you know why i keep this last grenade for you?……… To make sure you never get to come back” desmond said then unclip the grenade string and forced it in his mouth.
Desmond ran away from the place and the grenade went off, he entered one of the cars then drove off.

They all meet back at the rendezvous point and Desmond his family were reunited.
Desmond and the colonel find out about the DIG’s death and they wept.

The DIG funeral took place Three weeks later, which lots of dignitaries came to pay their last respect.
After the end of the service Desmond and his family went to meet Mrs martins and her children.
” My condolences, Sarah” Mrs Silva said as she went to hug Mrs Martins.
” I’m sorry ma’am, I can’t help but think I’m the reason this happened……. I shouldn’t have allowed him” Desmond said.
” No Desmond, My husband had always wanted to do the right thing……he’s very much like you but he felt he will put us in danger………… ”
” ………I know my husband was a hero and he died a hero” Mrs martins said.
” Please whatever it is that you need don’t dally to call on me…… I’ll always be there” Desmond said.
” thank you so much for everything ” Mrs martins said then hugged him, Desmond left her and went to meet her daughters.
” MIA” they both said then went to hug him.
” Hy…….how are you feeling?” Desmond asked.
” Sad….. But we will get past it” Eliza the first daughter said.
” please be strong okay…….whatever it is you need, you can always count on me” Desmond said.
” thank you” they both said then he hugged them, they disengaged then he left them.
He stood then the colonel came to where he is.
” Sir” Desmond said.
” Thank you for everything ” col. Said.
” No Sir…..thank YOU for everything…….if not for all of you I don’t what would’ve happen” Desmond said.
” I’m just glad the ba$tard his dead” Col. said and he nodded.
” See you around, Blackbird ” col. Said.
” There’s no blackbird anymore, No MIA as well…….it’s David now……David Rolland ” Desmond said.
” See you around David ” col. Said.
” see you sir ” Desmond replied the he left, just as he left someone tapped Desmond on the shoulder and he turned to see Jane with a girl beside her.
” Maryjane……you came” Desmond said as they hugged.
” Of course…….Mr Martins was a great man” she said.
” Yeah…….. And who is this?” Desmond said referring to the young lady beside her.
” This is my sister Josette, Josette meet David the friend I told you about ” Jane introduced.
” Hy josette……Nice to finally meet you” Desmond said shooking hands with her.
” same here……My sister told me alot about you” she said and Desmond stair at Jane.
” really?……unfortunately she didn’t tell me much about you” Desmond said smiling.
” yeah I know that…….she’s always like that infact you’re the first man she told me about ” she said.
” woww…..that’s impressive” Desmond said grinning.
” shut up you two” Jane said smiling also then Vickie, grace and goodness came to where they are.
” I don’t think we’ve formally introduced……..My name is Victoria, thanks for saving our lives ” Vickie said shooking hands with her.
” you’re welcome ” Jane replied.
” this are my sisters, Grace and goodness” Desmond introduced.
” hy” Jane said then Mrs Silva came to them as well holding Mercy with her.
” Good morning ma” Jane and her sister greeted.
” morning…..my daughter, thank you so much for what you did for our family” Mrs Silva said.
” it’s nothing” Jane said.
” What’s your name again?” Mrs Silva asked.
” Maryjane” she answered.
” how’s your family?” Mrs Silva asked.
” they are fine ma” she replied.
” Are you married?” Mrs Silva asked and Jane stared at Desmond.
” No ma” Jane replied.
” Then you two shouldn’t waste anymore time and get married” Mrs Silva said and they all burst into laughter.
” Mooomm” Desmond whined.
