FINAL MISSION

They all gathered around and discuss how their plans will go.
” This is what we are going to do, we will split into two groups and rescue them” Agent Mackerel said.
” it’s not as easy as it sounds, you know very well if we attack any of the two places, we will be putting their life in danger ” the colonel said.
” You’re right, hassan gave a clear warning for Desmond to come alone, and with what we’ve seen, we can’t underestimate this man” DIG said.
” we can’t just let him go alone…….it’s dangerous ” agent mackerel said.
” Actually that’s what we are going to do” Desmond said.
” but you will be killed……you know very well he’s going to kill you” agent mackerel said.
” yeah I know……and I’m not afraid to die” Desmond said.
” Hassan is clever, going against what he said will put my family’s life in danger” Desmond said.
” He made sure that even if his plan failed today he will still win cause he still have my other family”
” How do we counter his plans?” Agent Mackerel asked.
” we can’t, there’s no way we can counter the plan but we can make use of our advantage ” Desmond said.
” The only advantage we have against him is that, we knew both their location which he doesn’t know we do” Desmond said.
” But the only problem there is that, if we attack both locations they can pass message to each other which might put the life of the hostages in danger” Desmond said.
” so if we are to do that, we need to make sure they can’t pass message to each other” agent mackerel said.
” how are we going to do that? ” the colonel asked then Desmond bring out a device from the bag.
” By using this ” he said showing them the device.
” What’s that? ” DIG asked.
” it’s a Signal Jammer, it will stop any connection around the vicinity which will prevent them from any communication ” Desmond said.
” Agent Mackerel and the DIG will be the one to do this” Desmond said.
” No, I’m going with you……..Going after Hassan on your own will be dangerous ” agent mackerel said.
” I’m not going alone, the colonel will follow me” Desmond said.
” then let him go with the DIG……you know I can help you on this ” agent mackerel said.
” you don’t get this, I’m not the one who needs help but my family…….if they are safe then I’m okay” Desmond said.
” Fine” agent mackerel muttered.
” they don’t know you will be coming, so you need to infiltrate them unaware ” Desmond said.
” I will meet up with Hassan as agreed and I will try to stall him and buy us some time” Desmond said.
” After you’ve rescued them you will have to informed the colonel about the progress ” Desmond explained.
” what about you? ” the DIG asked.
” I’ll go alone just as he wanted and unarmed and without any mode of communication cause I have a hunch that he might suspected it all” Desmond said.
” For someone as smart as that I’m sure he would suspect that but since we know the location, the colonel will follow but won’t get anyway near the place ” Desmond said.
” Sir, you will hide where you won’t be noticed and wait for a call from them before you act ”
” After you’ve gotten confirmation from them, you can go ahead and activate this” Desmond said bringing out an EMP.
” Electro magnetic pulse” the colonel said.
” yes Sir, thankfully it’s getting dark already so activating this will hopefully give us the chance we need” Desmond said.
” Sir, after activating it then you can attack from outside while I’ll take care of things from the inside” Desmond said.
” It’s a very nice plan…….let’s hope it work for us” colonel said.
” we still have one and half hour left, so let’s get prepared” Desmond said.
” We will be back, I need to gather the weapons we will be needing ” the colonel said then left.
” I’ll be back…..okay” the DIG said and he left as well remaining agent mackerel and Desmond.
” Are you sure about this?” agent mackerel asked.
” the reason I want you to go is because I want someone like me over there, someone who could handle things like that” Desmond said.
” I’ve seen what you can do and you’re exactly the one I need for that” Desmond said.
” I’m having a bad feeling concerning this” agent mackerel said.
” let’s hope it go as planned” Desmond said.
” then I guess you will be needing this, you will need it most if you’re going to do this” agent mackerel said handling him the bulletproof vest.
” Thank you agent ma……..”
” It’s Jane, My name is Maryjane Davies” agent mackerel correct and Desmond smiled.
” your real name or a disguise?” Desmond asked.
” Well unlike you, I don’t get to have so many name…….so that’s my real name” she said.
” and you will be the first person, i’ll be revealing that to after six years” Jane said.
” I guess there must be some story behind it” desmond said.
” Not exactly, I just realized that with the line of my work, I can’t expose my family” she said.
” thank you for confiding in me” Desmond said.
” you do the same ” she replied.

The DIG put a call through to his wife to inform her about what he’s going to do.
? ” MIA is the son of Abraham Silva?……your friend? ” his wife said in surprise.
? ” I just found out today” DIG said.
? ” what about the rest of his family?…..what about his mother? ” his wife asked.
? ” his mother and sisters are safe but not anymore cause they are on danger now” the DIG said.
? ” what do you mean?” she asked.
? ” they have been kidnapped by someone from the past, so we are going to save them” he said.
? ” you’re going with them?” she asked.
? ” yes I have to, Mike did so much for me and I think it’s right I repay him back” DIG said.
? ” it’s been so long you went to battle……..will you be okay?” she asked.
? ” I’ll be fine…….how’s my daughters?” he asked.
? ” they are in their rooms” she replied.
? ” Alright then…… I have to go now” he said.
? ” okay……please be careful and come back safe” she said.
? ” okay dear…….see you soon ” he said then ended the call.

The colonel also put a call through to his family to tell them about what he’s about to embark on.
? ” you haven’t been home for a while now and now you’re telling me you’re going for another one?” his wife said.
? ” I’m sorry but don’t worry…….i’ll be back, there’s nothing to worry about” he said.
? ” please be safe” she said.
? ” yeah….i will” he replied then ended the call.

Agent Mackerel also did the same as she put a call through to her family.
? ” where’s mom and dad?……. I called their phone but it’s not reachable ” she said to her sister.
? ” they are not in the country” her sister said.
? ” where?” Jane asked.
? ” Israel…….they left four days ago” her sister replied.
? ” I told them if they ever wanted to do something like that I should be informed” Jane said.
? ” c’mon sister Jane, you’ve been away for almost a year which is always what you always do” her sister said.
? ” I guess you’re right, hope all is well?” she asked.
? ” no problem………we are fine, so are you around now?, are you coming home now?” her sister asked.
? ” actually that’s the plan but something came up and I need to attend to it” Jane said.
? ” that’s always the reason” her sister said.
? ” but this one is different, I need to help a guy” Jane said.
? ” seems like this guy’s is important ” her sister said.
? ” something like that…….i just called to inform you” Jane said.
? ” okay sis….. Be careful ” her sister said.
? ” yeah…. Later” Jane said then ended the call.

They all gathered again as the colonel bring in weapons for them to use and they started gearing up except for Desmond.
” I’ll be on my way now, remember Sir……..you are to follow in the next fifteen minute ” Desmond said to the colonel.
” copy that ” the colonel replied.
” Thank you all for doing this…..please be safe……Godspeed ” Desmond said then went out to the car and drove off to the location.
Agent Mackerel and the DIG also finish gearing up then they took their weapons.
” Be safe brother……. Both of you ” the colonel said.
” Sure”
” Let’s go agent Mackerel” the DIG said then they also went out to the car and drove off.
About fifteen minutes later the colonel also entered his car and drove off to the location as planned.

Few minutes later Desmond reached the location and immediately Hassan’s men saw his car they all came out with weapons in their hands.
Desmond continue driving in until one of the men signalled for him to stop and he stopped.
He got down then they search him from head to toe looking for any hidden weapon.
When they found nothing on him they took him to meet Hassan in the building.
” Welcome back to Nigeria, Desmond Da Silva…….. It’s so good to see you again” Hassan said as they brought Desmond to him.
” I wish I could say the same” Desmond replied.
Hassan signaled to one of his men then the guy bring out an electronic device and started to hover it around Desmond searching for electric but found nothing.
” looks like you’re very obedient……no tracker, no weapons, no comms, totally unarmed ” Hassan said.
” you have my family…….do you think I’ll put them in danger by going against a psycho like you” Desmond said and he smiled.
” I like you….. If you and I had meet on a different circumstances I’m sure we going to be friends…….so unfortunate that you have to die today” Hassan said.
” Look I don’t care what you do to me……but please let my family go, it’s me you want” Desmond said.
” yeah I want you dead but I also want you to suffer ” Hassan said.
” where’s my family?” Desmond asked then Hassan signalled to one of his men then they bring out Grace.
” Brother…….Brother” Grace called as she see Desmond.
” It’s okay Grace…….everything is going to be fine ” Desmond said then turned to Hassan.
” where are the rest? ” Desmond asked.
” Actually…… They are not here” he said.
” what have you done them?” Desmond asked.
” oh calm down they are fine, I need to make sure you’re not followed or maybe if you tried to counter my plans” Hassan said.
” Be thankful you didn’t cause I’ve gave my assistant Bosar an order that…… If things didn’t go as planned that he should eliminate them both” Hassan said.
” you’re a very heartless person” Desmond said.
” Don’t blame me…….I’m sure you know how it all works” Hassan said.
” To cut the long story short………it’s time for my revenge ” Hassan said then give Desmond a hard punch which sent him on the ground.

Agent Mackerel and the DIG reached the other location and they set out to work.
Agent Mackerel bring out the signal jammer then she activate it.
” are you ready sir?” Agent Mackerel asked.
” Yeah……let’s go” DIG said then they walked stealthily into the compound.
They continue moving towards the house and they met with no one till they got the house.
” Looks like they are not too many here” DIG said.
” that’s because they aren’t expecting us” Jane replied.
” let’s look for a way in” she said then looked for a way in.
They got to the stairs and met some men at the entrance and they move carefully behind them and snapped their neck.
They put them away and continue moving in then they reached the door to the main room.
They signalled to each other and kick down the door, the action startled Hassan’s men in the room.
Since they are unprepared it gave Jane and the DIG a open chance to shoot them.
Before the men got to their weapons they shoot them dead then DIG be on the lookout as Jane went to the only room.
She got the door and unlocked it and see two women in the room with one with a protruding belly.
Mrs Dasilva and Vickie were surprised to the woman Hassan showed to them and wondered who she is.
” Mom…… She’s the one” Vickie said to her mother.
” Mrs Dasilva?……we need to go now ” Jane said as she untied them.
” who are you? ” Vickie asked.
” A friend of your son…… Desmond sent me” Jane answered.
” Desmond?…..he told you?” Mrs Silva said surprised.
” it’s a long story ma’am…. But we have to go” Jane said as she untied Vickie also.
” we have to save my sister……..hassan took her” Vickie said as they head to the door.
” don’t worry about that…….Desmond is working on it” Jane replied and they went out and they saw the DIG.
” Mr Martins? ” Vickie said as they saw him.
” John?” Mrs Dasilva said surprised.
” Hy Hannah ” DIG said.
” what are you doing here?” Mrs Silva said.
” how about we do all of this later but now we need to get out of here before the rest of them come back” Vickie said.
” what do you mean the rest of them? ” Jane asked.
” There’s a man named Bosar, he and some men went out a while ago ” Vickie said just immediately they heard tires screeching outside.
” They are here,……we need to go” DIG said then they move out of the house.
Just as they get outside the house Bosar and the rest open fire at them then DIG and Jane shoot back at them.
” Stay down” Jane shouted as she shoot back at them.
Bosar hid behind the cars and put a call through to Hassan but unfortunately there’s no signal.
He tried for few more times but couldn’t connect then joined the men in shooting.

” we need to get out of here” Jane said.
” Go….. I’ll cover you” DIG said.
” No Sir……you go I’ll cover” Jane said.
” it’s not a request Agent……..Now go” DIG said then Jane turned to the Dasilva.
” on the count of three we run, okay?” Jane said and they nodded.
” One……..Two …..” she counted then bring out a grenade.
” Three ” she completed and throw the grenade towards their direction and they run away.
The grenade exploded killing two people and injured one then the DIG alone fire at them as Jane took the family away.
The DIG was able to kill four of them then his bullet finished, he dropped the gun and bring out a grenade then throw it at them.
Immediately he threw it he stood up and also ran away, Bosar and few of his men ran after him.
He ran as fast as he could then he was hit by a bullet which cause him to fall down.
He groan out in pain then manage to stand up and continue running away from the place.
Immediately Jane took the family to the car she turned back waiting for the DIG then saw him staggering towards her.
She quickly ran towards him then another bullet hit him then he fall t9 the ground , Jane saw Bosar and his men and she open fire at them.
They quickly took cover behind a wall, Jane helped the DIG to the car as she continue shooting at them.
She took him to the car and told Vicky to take off and she drove away from the place.
” I’m so happy…..t..that you’re safe Hanna, a..at least I owe…… that to your……… husband and son” the DIG stuttered in pain.
” please save your strength John……you will be okay, we just need to get you to the hospital ” Mrs Silva said.
” I’m…. I’m so… Sorryyyy” he said then stopped breathing.
” NOOOOO” Jane shouted and Mrs Silva wept.
” Stop the car ” Jane said.
” whaaat? ” Vickie said.
” please stop the car” Jane repeated and Vickie pulled over then Jane got down.
She bring out her phone and dialled the Colonel’s number which he picked immediately.
? ” status?” Col. Said.
? ” Done ” she replied then ended then call.
” Get out of here now and don’t look back……..Go to this location and stay there” Jane said showing them the location on phone.
” what about you?” Vickie asked.
” I need to put an end to this…… now go” she said then ran back to the direction of the house.
