Chapter 69
“Boss, we are here,” the driver said as he parked the car. Two guards quickly came and opened the door for them.
“Thank God they didn’t do anything,” the driver said in relief. ?
“Wow, this place is really beautiful,” Evelyn said as they stood at the entrance, holding each other’s hands tightly.
“Well, you should know I don’t settle for anything less,” Martin said with pride filling him, and Evelyn just rolled her eyes.
They both walked towards the table, and they both sat down.
The restaurant was fancy and beautifully decorated.
One could tell it was expensive just by looking at it.
Many people were sitting in groups or pairs, laughing, eating, and chatting.
“Good day, ma’am, sir,” a young girl wearing a uniform greeted as she walked towards their table.
She was wearing a short gown, exposing her cI.eavage, and Evelyn just scoffed, staring at her angrily.
It was obvious she was jealous, and Martin chuckled when he noticed her.
He wasn’t moved by whatever the girl was wearing.
He was only attracted to Evelyn.
“Isn’t that Martin Parker?” someone said, pointing at them, and everyone turned their attention towards them.
?Oh my goodness, it’s him.
?He is with the same girl.
?I wish I could touch him.
?They are perfect for each other.
They all tried to move closer to him but were blocked by the guards who came with him.
Martin rolled his eyes and waved at them with a polite smile.
He didn’t want to appear rude.
?Aww, he is so cute.
?His smile is beautiful.
Some quickly took out their phones and started taking pictures of them, while others simply admired them.
“Please, what would you like to have?” the waitress asked, smiling politely and biting her lips at the same time.
It was obvious she was doing it for Martin, who just huffed.
Evelyn looked at the menu and let out a sigh.
Everything here was so expensive, and she didn’t even know what to choose.
“I’ll just go for a glass of juice,” Evelyn said, and Martin frowned.
“Get her fried rice with salad, chicken, and orange juice,” Martin said, and the waitress wrote it down.
“What would you like to have, sir?” she asked in a $eductive voice, slowly biting her lips. Martin scoffed before picking up the menu.
Nothing seemed to interest him except when he was with Evelyn.
“Just give me bacon and eggs with wine,” he replied, and she nodded, jotting it down.
“Anything else?” she asked $eductively, while Evelyn just glared at her.
She was so jealous and annoyed.
“No…get your bchy self out of my face. If you want to get fucked, go to a fking club,” he said rudely, and the waitress frowned angrily before walking out.
Meanwhile, Evelyn couldn’t stop smiling.
“You don’t have to be rude like that,” she said.
“Seriously, Eve? I’m sure you’re happy I said those words to her,” Martin said, and Evelyn rolled her eyes.
“Hmm, weren’t you attracted to her?” she raised her eyebrows in a questioning manner, and Martin laughed softly.
“Come on, babe, you should know by now that I’m only attracted to you,” he said, and Evelyn couldn’t help but blush.
She couldn’t even count how many times he had made her blush.
Martin wasn’t perfect, but she knew he was perfect for her.
A few moments later, the waitress brought their food.
Evelyn took the spoon and immediately dug into the food.
“Geez, this is delicious,” Evelyn said as she took a bite, and Martin just smiled.
She sipped on her juice while Martin folded his hands, gazing at her… her lips, actually.
“What?” she asked.
“There’s something on your face,” he said, and Evelyn tried to clean her face, but Martin gently held her hand.
“Let me do it,” he stood up from his chair and walked towards Evelyn.
A smirk formed on his lips as she turned to look at him, expecting him to remove whatever was on her face.
But her eyes widened when he slowly claimed her lips, making everyone scream in the restaurant.
