Chapter 70
The sound of cameras could be heard from different angles.
“Martin,” Eve called between the kss and quickly pvshed him away.
“There was nothing on your face. I just wanted to create a scene and kss those lollipop lips of yours,” he winked at her and went back to his seat while Evelyn looked down, trying to hide her red cheeks.
“I think this dress is perfect,” Evelyn said as she picked up a blue dress.
Martin took her shopping after they had eaten at the restaurant, although it was against her wishes.
But like the stubborn boyfriend he is, he had forced her to go shopping.
“But it’s so expensive,” she muttered to herself and tried to put it back, but someone dragged the clothes off her hand.
“I never complained,” Martin said, and Evelyn just rolled her eyes.
“Martin, you should not have bothered to buy me clothes. The ones you brought for me, I haven’t even worn them,” she said.
“You don’t get it, do you? Evelyn, no matter what, I want to spend all of my money on you.
I want to spend everything on you so that money will no longer have value in your eyes,” he said, gently holding her hand.
She laughed softly and playfully pvnched his chest.
His phone rang, and he sighed.
“My dad is calling. I’ll be back in 2 minutes,” he said, and Evelyn nodded, smiling. He kssed her forehead before walking out.
“This is beautiful,” she picked up a white skirt and almost immediately felt someone holding her waist, making her flinch.
She turned around, and her eyes widened when she saw Alexander.
“Alexander?” she called in surprise, and he just smirked.
“What the h’ll are you doing here? If Martin sees you here, he is going to do something crazy,” Evelyn said panickedly, but Alexander didn’t seem to be moved.
“I don’t fking care… tell me, Eve, why do you need to date him after all he did to you?” Alexander said, and Evelyn frowned.
“He did nothing to me, Alex. He is changing, and he is the perfect man I could ever ask for.
So, I suggest you mind your fking business before you get beaten again,” she said and pvshed him off slightly.
He frowned as he stared at her, and a smirk suddenly formed on his lips as he spotted Martin coming from a distance.
“You don’t get it, Eve. I’m not going to allow you to be with Martin,” he said, and Evelyn frowned, turning to look at him, confused and not understanding what he meant.
“What the h’ll are you saying, Alex?” she asked, confused.
He forcefully dragged her to him and immediately attacked her lips, kssing her harshly while Evelyn struggled to move away.
But she couldn’t; instead, Alexander grabbed her hand and placed her hands on her shoulders.
“What the fk?” Martin yelled, and that was when Alexander let her go.
Martin stood, staring at them, not knowing what to say. Confusion, anger, hatred, betrayal were all shown on his face.
“Ma… Martin, it’s not what you think. He kssed me forcefully,” Evelyn said, but Martin just stared at her, not knowing what to say.
He didn’t know whether to believe her or not.
“No… you kssed me,” Alexander said, and Evelyn’s eyes widened in shock.
“How can you say that?” Evelyn yelled angrily at Alexander, who just smirked, watching the drama.

Tears were already flowing down from Eve’s eyes. She was so scared to lose him.
“Martin, please do not believe him,” she said, trying to walk closer to him, but Martin moved back.
“Why didn’t you push him away? You were probably enjoying the kss,” he said, and Evelyn just burst into tears.

“Please, Martin, don’t believe him,” she pleaded, kneeling down.
Martin started walking away from her while Evelyn just knelt on the ground crying.
Martin suddenly stopped and turned towards Alexander.

“You know, you should think twice before trying to frame my fiancée for cheating,” he yelled, and a heavy pvnch landed on Alexander’s face, causing him to spit out bI.ood.
Alexander’s eyes widened in surprise, including Evelyn’s.
He thought he believed him.
