Chapter 83

She sat down on the chair crying while Martin and Haris just stood beside her staring at her.

“I’m sorry for this,” The teacher said as she enters the office.

Evelyn stood up and tried to sI.ap her, but Martin was quick enough to hold her.

“You are an awful teacher. Who gives a student to someone you don’t know as her family member?” Evelyn yells angrily.

“Hey, babe, calm down,” Martin said, trying to touch her, but she pushed him away.

“Don’t tell me to calm down.” She fired at him, and Martin sighed.

“I apologize…”

“Don’t say that. Right now, your only job should be finding a way to bring my sister back,” Evelyn said.

“We are doing our best,” the teacher said, and Evelyn burst into tears.

Martin moved towards her and quickly hugged her, while Haris stood there, tears streaming down his face.

She was so scared.

Her mind was in turmoil. All she wanted was to see her sister and ensure she was safe.

Her phone rang, and she picked it up, placing it to her ear.

?”Hello,” she said as she answered the call.

?”Hello, Evelyn,” she gasped as soon as she heard his voice.

How did he get her number, and why was he calling her? She looked at Martin, who was just staring at her.

She gulped and didn’t say anything.

She didn’t want Martin to think they were talking secretly.

“Why are you calling me?” she asked quietly.

“You know, Evelyn, when I said I wouldn’t allow you and Martin to be together, I wasn’t joking,” he said, and Evelyn scoffed.

“I guess you’re looking for your little sister right now… Just so you know, I took her, and I want you to do as I say, or else she’ll be dead in the next five hours,” Alexander said, and Evelyn gasped, tears flowing down her face.

“What the h’ll do you want, you despicable person?” Evelyn yelled, crying, and by now, Martin and Haris were by her side.

“I want you to meet me at the address I’m going to send you, or else I’m seriously going to kll your little sister,” he said, and the line went dead immediately.

“No… No… don’t hang up,” she yelled, but it was already too late.

“Hey, who was that?” Martin and Haris asked simultaneously.

“Alexander. He just messaged me, and… and he wants me to go to the address he’s about to send me, or else he’s going to kll my sister,” she said, crying, and Haris gasped while Martin just scoffed.

Her phone beeped, and she checked it, only to see the address, but there was a text message along with it.

“Don’t try to be clever. Come alone, or your sister will be dead,”

She gulped and stood up before they could read the text.

“Hmm, I need to go to the hospital,” she said, and Martin huffed, staring at her suspiciously.

“You’re not going to the hospital,” Martin said.

“Who do you think you’re fooling? I saw the text. He wants you to come alone, and you actually want to go alone,” Martin said.

“Seriously, Martin, what’s the big deal? I’m not going to put my sister’s life in danger, so I’m going alone,” she said, trying to walk away, but he dragged her back.

“This is dangerous, Evelyn. You don’t even know what he’s planning.

“I should accompany you and work with the police,” Haris suggested, agreeing with Martin’s opinion. “You don’t know what he’s planning, so it’s better to go with the police,” he added as Evelyn let out a sigh.

“I’m scared, Martin. I don’t want anything to happen to my sister,” she said, tears streaming down her face, her eyes filled with fear.

The safety of family members is paramount.

Losing them or having something bad happen to them is a terrifying thought.

Evelyn was overwhelmed with fear for her sister’s well-being at that moment.

She was willing to take the risk just to see her sister again.
