Chapter 15
“How dare she?” He yelled and ran out of the office. Evelyn didn’t waste time and ran after him. Whatever he was up to, it was no good.
Grace was walking through the corridor, making a call.
“Hey,” she heard someone yell, and when she turned around, a slap landed on her face, causing her phone to fall to the ground.
“What the h’ll!” Her eyes widened in surprise. She looked up only to meet the gaze of an angry Martin.
“Why did you sI.ap Evelyn?” He asked, and Grace gulped, looking at him fearfully.
In her four years of working in his company, she had never seen Martin this angry.
“I hate repeating myself, so answer me,” he yelled.
“You were being too close to her. I had sx with you, and you have never been close to me. You always ignore me like I’m trash,” she yelled.
Martin chuckled darkly, making the young girl flinch in fear.
“You seduced me, you were too cheap for liking, and I only slept with you once, so I don’t see why you feel so special about it,” he said rudely, and she scoffed.
“So, what is so special about the bitch?” she couldn’t complete her words when a punch landed on her face, and she groaned weakly.
“Do not compare yourself with her,” he yelled and punched her again, creating a cut on her face.
The corridor was already filled with some staff, and they were taking pictures of him.
She punched him again, and this time she fell to the floor, gasping for breath. But he didn’t stop there; instead, he grabbed her by the hair and punched her.
Evelyn, who stood a few meters away from them, saw what was happening and quickly rushed towards him, trying to pull him away, but he was stronger.
“Security, come hold him, please,” she yelled, and almost immediately, three hefty men came towards him and held him. Grace didn’t waste time and ran away from the scene.
“Let go of me, you bstards,” he yelled, struggling to move away from them.
Some people call this love, and others call it obsession, but whatever it is, it’s dangerous and toxic.
“I don’t ever want to see you in my company. You are fired,” he yelled and pushed them away.
He turned to look at Evelyn, who stood staring at him, and he gently grabbed hold of her hand before walking away.
“Geez, what just happened?”
“Oh my gosh, he just fired Grace.”
“Wait! Is something going on between the new secretary and the boss?”
These were the comments made by the employees. They were surprised; they knew their boss was wicked, but they never knew he could beat up a woman like that.

“Martin, I’m really fine,” Evelyn said, trying to pull away from him, but he grabbed hold of her waist and made her sit on the table.
“I don’t like the black spot on your face,” he said gently, and Evelyn’s eyes widened with surprise.
He moved towards the office freezer and took an ice block before moving back towards her.
He smiled lightly at her before placing the block on the black spot.
Evelyn tried hard not to stare at him because she didn’t want to be trapped in his captivating gold eyes.
He held her cheek and made her look at him.
“I hate it when you’re hurt,” he said gently, his face inches away from hers, their lips longing for a kss.
He kssed her forehead softly before hugging her tightly, leaving her in surprise.
“You didn’t have to fire her, you know. Besides, you slept with her.
