Chapter 136
“Maybe when you guys will be in jail,” Martin asked, and he frowned, while the others stared at him, confused.
“What on earth, son? If you’re going to be rude, why invite them over for dinner?”
“Because I wanted to show you the type of family you want me to marry into,” he said.
He turned to Maria and suddenly grabbed hold of her hair, making her scream in pain.
“Let her go,” her father yelled.
“You tried to drug me to have sex with you when I came to your party,” he said, and her eyes widened.
“What on earth are you talking about?” she stuttered.
“You know exactly what I’m talking about. You tried to drug me when I came to the party, but ended up drugging my fiancée. Did you think I would let that slide?” Martin yelled.
“Son, stop it,” Mr. Parker yelled.
“Dad, remember you asked me to go to their party… that night they tried to drug me,”
“So… she was trying to win your heart,” Mr. Parker said, and Martin scoffed before letting go of Maria, who just smirked.
“Well, I’m sure you wouldn’t want me to marry a woman who is ready to kill for me,” he said, and everyone’s eyes widened.
“Grace, come in,” he yelled, and Grace walked in, along with Taylor.
“What are you doing here?” she asked fearfully.
“Who are these people, son?” Mr. Parker asked.
“They’re nobody,” Maria said, and Martin smirked.
“Dad, because she was so desperate to have me, she decided to pay someone to kll Evelyn, and the other was to fake a pregnancy for me,” Martin said, and everyone gasped.
“No, no. I didn’t do that,” she yelled.
“She paid me to kll her, but my sister told me not to,” Taylor said, and everyone gasped.
“How could you be so heartless?”
Mrs. Parker shouted.
“My daughter will never do that,” Mr. Eric said, and Martin scoffed.
“Drug dealer, huh?” Martin said, and Mr. Eric’s eyes widened.
“Oh, don’t be surprised. I know you are involved in illegal activities and you caused harm to your wife because she threatened to report you to the authorities,” Martin said.
“Oh my goodness,” Mr. Parker yelled, while Mr. Eric clenched his fist, glaring at Martin angrily.
“You harmed mom?” Maria asked, already in tears.
“Contact the authorities,” Mr. Parker yelled, and both of their eyes widened.
“There will be no need for that. The authorities are listening right now,” Martin said, and their eyes widened.
Almost immediately, the door burst open, revealing five men dressed in police uniforms.
“You are under arrest for drug trafficking and other criminal activities,” a police officer said, as they handcuffed both of them.
Taylor held his sister’s hand, staring at Maria with sadness.
He really liked her, and he was really scared that he was going to get arrested, but they didn’t even look at him.
“No… no, I am sorry, Martin,” Maria yelled, crying helplessly as they dragged her out.
