MRS DAMIEN’S
“Asher, hurry up and drive faster, I am getting late for my award function already “Mrs Damien complained to her drivers .
She had been attending a lot of functions all day ,they were either awards ceremony , Charity organization , business party …..and so on .
She was heading to the last and most important one ,she was being granted an award for her good works in the city of New York , after all she was the mother of the city and a beauty goddess .
She had a rough past which explains why she cared so much for poor people , especially young lost girls ,most especially The pregnant one’s ,she had took it as a responsibility to make sure no girl ever gets maltreated , like she was which led to the birth of her only son ,’Jerald’ .
He was presently in France , where he chose to study, after all she had the money to meet his needs .
“Asher ,why is the road these crowed ,Mrs Damien asked annoyed ,she was getting really late and now the road had been completely blocked ,”looks like God doesn’t want me at that party ,she muttered completely tired of everything .
“Ma’am I think an accident occurred that’s why there is so huge crowd, Asher finally replied after staring at the crowd for couple of minutes .
“That’s really bad , Mrs Damien replied. Just then a policeman walked up to them ,he was surprised to see who it was ,he bowed with respect since she was someone of high status.
“Sorry ma’am but ,an accident occurred earlier ,so the road will be blocked till we are done with our investigation ,once again we are very sorry ,the policeman stated .
“It’s fine , you can go back to your duty I will manage , Mrs Damien replied and waved him off to leave .
“Ma’am I think I know another route we could follow ,just that it might be a little bumpy , Asher said .
“Then what are you waiting for come on let’s go already , Mrs Damien replied immediately .
Asher then reversed the car and started driving to the other route he talked about .
Not to forget , Mrs Damien had some of her gaurds tailing behind her ,she sure has a lot of enemy .
“STOP” she suddenly screamed , Asher was beyond surprised at why she screamed that loud ,he stoped the car and turned to look at with confusion clearly written on his face .
Mrs Damien ,not having time for any explanation jumped out of , and of course with her guards tailing behind her.
What she saw brought old memories ,how she was rapped by group of boys ,just like what she was seeing .
“Get them ,she yelled at her guards who immediately set out to chase the boys that were trying to rappe an unconscious girl .
She rushed up to the young lady on the floor looking almost lifeless with her knees bIeeding .
“Hurry up get her into the car we need to get her to the hospital immediately ,she yelled at Asher ,who immediately took the girl in his hand and rushed to the car with Mrs Damien running after him.

AT THE HOSPITAL ?
“Doctor how is she , Mrs Damien asked ,she was so worried turns out she had no idea things like that still happens ,she had placed securities at every part of New York to prevent such but it was clear she missed a place ,but that was sure to be taken care of .
The girl in question was beautiful, must have been the reason they tried to ralpe her ,thank God Asher took her to that place if not something bad might have happened to the poor girl.
“She is fine , and responding well to treatment,she will soon be awake, oh least I forget there should enough nutritious food waiting for her by the time she wakes up ,he replied.
“Thank you doctor ,is there any other reason why she was unconscious apart from the injury , anything like internal bleeding ,Mrs Damien asked .
“No ,she was unconscious because of the fact that she starved herself too much and the excess bIeeding ,she really is a strong girl not everyone will survive that type of crisis. I will be in my office, if you need anything send the nurses to me ,the doctor replied and left.
‘Wow! She’s such a very strong poor girl.
Ma! She is now awake. A nurse said bringing her out of her deep thoughts.
“Oh thank you , she replied and quickly signaled Asher to come .
“Yes ma’am you called ,he said getting to where she stood .
“Yes go get some food for the girl immediately and be very fast okay ,she ordered .
Yes ma’am ,he replied and left .
She quickly walked in to the ward to see the girl eyes wide open but something was wrong ,she was looking at a complete different direction which was weird ,why wasn’t she looking at her , maybe she was still scared about what happened .
“Hello , Young girl ,how are you doing ? She asked concerned .
“Am fine , replied the lady in question , looking around trying to face the right direction .
That was when it dawned on Mrs Damien ,the young lady was blind ,a tear slipped from her eyes ,she couldn’t imagine the pain she had been through coupled with the fact that she was blind and couldn’t see anything .
“What’s your name ,she asked shedding tears she couldn’t hold back her emotions .
“My name is ARIEL ma’am , but you can call me” BLIND ARIEL ” ,she replied smiling .
“BLIND ARIEL” ,she repeated crying profusely .
Mrs Damien was the owner of the female voice , how great .
It sure isn’t a good thing to be blind ,I feel for Ariel.
