” OMG!!” Larina exclaimed and fell to the ground.. luckily, she didn’t faint this time
” I wanna see my daughter, I wanna see Alora..” Larina said, crawling on her butt to Mary..
Mary sighed and helped her up..
” Where’s she? Take me to her ” Larina inhaled and Mary exhaled deeply before taking her to where Alora’s body was kept..
Larina’s eyes dilated the more, her steps faltered and tears rush down nonstop when she beheld the body
” Lora ” She sniffled, touching her pale skin
” My baby! ” she cried more
” Why did you leave me huh? How do you want your parents to look at me from up there?” She
The memory of how Alora’s parents died in a fire accident in their home when Lora was just 12 is still vivid in her memory
After that incident, she decided to take Alora in since she also had a daughter.
She didn’t want Alora to feel lonely or sulk over her parents dismiss but now, the little girl, she took care of is dead..
Larina held Alora’s face in her hands and cried even more
” You’re so selfish Lora, why didn’t you think of me? Why didn’t you think of your parents?
Cause if you did, you wouldn’t give up..” She cried again and this time, she fainted..
Mary quickly asked the nurses to take her to a ward where she received treatment

” Barbie..” Raphael callled from his sleep
Godiva immediately lifted her head from the bed when she heard her name
” Knight? ” She touched his cheeks and gently, he opened his eyes
” Are you okay? Is our baby fine?” He asked and she nodded with tears-filled eyes before hugging him to herself
” Thank goodness you’re safe ” came Alston’s voice.
Raphael disengage from the hug and looked at the person
” Dad.. ” He smiled shortly and Alston return the smile..
” you should get well soon and let’s go home, I hate the scent of hospitals..” Alston said and Raphael smiled at his words.
Vespertine walked in that moment and saw Raphael awake.. he rushed to him and hugged him very tight that he had to wince
” Do you wanna kll him?” Godiva scolded, pulling him off Raphael’s body
” I got shot because of you, aren’t you grateful?” He rolled his eyes
” Alora.. where’s she? Is she okay?” Raphael asked and the ward became silent
Alston turned his face away, trying not to tear up.
