Kyle sat quietly beside Odette on the bed, she was sweating profusely. Anel haven’t woke up yet, kyle has laid them beside each other as he kept caressing their faces, examining their bodies temperature as he placed his hand on their foreheads.
His phone rung, he glanced at his phone before picking up.
? Hello son. ?
? Hi mom, what’s wrong? ?
? Is Anel with you? And you, where are you? ?
? sorry about that mom, she’s with me right now. Are you back? ?
? Ah, what a relief. Yeah your dad and I are back. Would you come to the mansion now? Please?
? Not today mom, bye ? He hung up and dropped the phone on top of the drawer.
Odette moved her body leisurely with her eyes closed.
“Hey Odette, are you okay? Do you want something? Kyle asked and held her hands. She slowly opened her eyes, staring at kyle.
“It’s nothing, I’m fine.” She replied, she sat up and kyle adjusted the pillows for her.
“You’re sure about that? He planted his right palm on her face.

“Yeah I’m good.” Since Anel is awake now maybe I should erase her memory.
I glimpse at kyle before moving my hand under the duvet, I placed it on her shoulder and steek my eyes.
“What’s wrong? What happened?
It took me second to do it, I opened my eyes and stood away from the bed.
“I want to use the bathroom.” I said and walked into the bathroom. I washed my face with water while staring at my reflection in the mirror. My red lips is getting light even my face looked pale.
I stepped out and went over to Anel on the bed.
“Should I call my doctor now? It seems like she’s not going to wake up anytime soon.” Kyle uttered with a worried expression.
“She has to wake up first before taking her to the hospital.”
“What if she doesn’t?
“Then I’m going to use my power on her, I want to make sure that she’s able to talk again or else I’ll never forgive myself.”
Anel groaned silently all of a sudden. Kyle claimed the bed and kneed on it.
“Hey Anel are you okay? I asked. She sat up and kyle made her rest her back on the pillows. She blinked her eyes severally.
“Are you listening Anel, please say something.” Kyle uttered as he helped with a strand of her hair and tugged it behind her ear. “Uh…huh, just say something.”
“How did I get here in the first place, is everything okay? She inquired with a confuse expression. I couldn’t help but smiled and cried at the same time.
“You said something just now? Oh my goodness! Anel you can speak…like really? Kyle uttered and hugged her at once.
“Omo! Kyle I can talk now? Oh my goodness how did you do it? Mummy, Daddy. How did you do it?
Kyle arched his left brow. “You don’t remember anything? She nodded. “And how you got here?
“No I don’t remember anything. What is really happening? I don’t seem to understand anything, first I can talk, second I know you asked me to come over here today right? Odette.”
“Yeah, forget about it Anel. What matters now is that you’re fine. I’m glad you’re okay, do you want anything?
“Nope, thank you. Kyle I want to go home.”
“No it’s already late. Let me get your room ready. Odette follow me.” Kyle said. I tagged behind him and we walked out of the room.
We headed to another room facing Kyle’s room, he pressed a button and the door opened.
“Odette she didn’t remember anything that happened four hours ago, I don’t understand what happened.” He shrugged his shoulders.
“I erased her memory, I don’t want her to know that I help. Now Kyle, what are you going to tell parent? Would they suspect anything?
“I don’t know really. Trust me, I’m gonna come up with something. And you are okay?
“I’m fine, I want to go home kyle… Lest I forgot, I’ll be away for few days and I don’t know when I’ll be back.” I blinked my eyes waiting for his reply.
“Really? Where are you going? On a vacation? He asked and pressed a button on the wall.
“Nope.” I pouted. “I’m going to Samar with my mom or you wanna come with me? I asked but he didn’t said anything. His face was expressionless. “Oh my gosh! Kyle it’s not like I’m not gonna come back, I want to help my mom with something so I will be back soon.” I moved to him and ran my fingers through his face. I tiptoed and kssed him on the lips lightly. “I love you and always remember that no matter what it takes or how long it gonna take I’ll surely come back to you.”
A maid rushed inside the room.
“Sir did you need something? She interrupted. I tried to move away from kyle but he held me back. “Stay still.”
“Yeah, arrange Anel rooms, she’ll be sleeping over.”
“Okay sir.” She nodded before existing the room.
“Odette what are you?
“Am I strange?
“Kind of. Your look, your hair…just everything about you is strange. Each days I always detect new thing about you.” I sighed and puffed out air.
“Guess I didn’t tell you who you are.” I stretched my right hand and light beam in my palm, I used my power to control a book on top of the drawer, I blinked severally until my eyes changed.
“My hair can heal wound, my eyes colors indicate my feelings, my voice my power and hands. Kyle you think I’m gonna hurt you with my powers? He shook his head vigorously.
“I don’t think you can do that to me.” I planted my right palm on his cheek.
“My powers doesn’t work on you, you’re someone I cannot hurt. You’re my soulmate, the only one that can light up my life, I belong to you Kyle. I don’t want to tell you this but I just cant keep it in anymore, if you think I’m gonna leave you one day then rethink that because we destiny to be together. You don’t understand how much you really mean to me, no you don’t. I love you…as in I really do love you.” I hugged him and rest my head on his chest. “Promise me you won’t get tired of me, promise me that you’re going to love me even when I’m mad. I never want this to happen but I guess I can’t help it, even if I try to stay away from you I can’t do it.” I remembered what mother once said to me. *the bond you’re gonna share would be Strong try to stay away from him and avoid your fate or else you’re going to be inseparable* right now I don’t care about what might happen in the future, even if one of us is gonna end up dying then that would be me. I won’t let anything happen to him. I don’t care about my fate all I want is him.
“I promise you. I love very much.”
“Mom…
“It’s already late Odette, remember DS is hosting a party tonight? Do you want to come along?
“Yeah but what about Anel?
“She’ll be fine. Let’s get going others are waiting.”
“Okay.” We headed to his room. Anel wasn’t inside, kyle unbuttoned his shirt and I turned abruptly, he laughed out.
“Seriously? Do you have to turn? He said and went to the bathroom. I sat on the couch wating for him.
He came out after few minutes with a white bathrobe.
“What are you waiting for?
“Me?
“Yeah, you have to change your dresses.” He rolled his eyes.
“Oh that, I’m gonna take a shower first.” I said nervously before heading to the bathroom. I did that because I don’t want him to dress in front of me or else I’m gonna go crazy, drool with dirty thoughts running in my mind.
I had a quick shower and came out with a white towel at the same time kyle came out from his closet. There was a red bandage dress and three set of purses on the bed.
He ran his eyes through my body and grinned to himself.
“I got you a new dress if you don’t mind.” He said and turned back.
I grabbed the new dress and quickly changed into it. “Hmm, I’m done you can turn now. One more thing, I can’t let my hair down so I’m gonna pack it.”
“It’s okay. Let me get you someone to help you.” He said and turned on the intercom. Shortly Clara stepped in with a box.
“Please have a seat ma’am.” She uttered, I sat on the stool facing the mirror. She combed my hair and braided it into one, she packed it in a french style. She used some gold pins to held it together and tugged the last flower pin in my hair.
“Check it out! You love it? Wow escaped my mouth, it’s really awesome.
“Fantastic! I love it thank you.”
“You’re welcome ma’am, she grabbed the opera heel kyle has bought. “Here.” She help me wore it. “Hum, I think golden purse is a perfect match right ma’am? She rest her jaw on her fingers like someone who’s thinking.
Kyle one purse and handed it over to me. “There you go.”
“You’re beautiful so I don’t have to apply any make up right?
“I hate it, don’t worry I love it this way.” I said and stood up.
“Shall we?
“Sure, let’s go then.” I held unto his arm as we walked out of the room.
Kyle and I hopped in the car and the driver drove in a speed and some cars followed. Through out the ride I rest my head on his shoulder.
The car suddenly came to a halt, we alighted from the car and I glanced around the building. So huge! Diamond stars were writing on it, bodyguards surrounded the building and they kept bowing as we walked inside.
We took the elevator to the last floor, walked toward a door, bodyguards were at the entrance. He paved way.
“This belongs to DS right?
“Yeah.” We walked inside. Kyle and I kept walking in the room until I sighted Luna, she waved, gestured us to come over.
“There kyle let’s go.” I said as we walked over. Both Queens band and kings band were sitting on different sofa.
“See who later decided to show up.” Tim teased as we joined ’em.
“Oh my baby! I missed you Odette.” She hugged me since I was sitting beside her.
“Me too.”
“I guess we are late, the party is almost over but it isn’t a bad idea if we play some games right? Raymond suggested.
“Yeah, I’m in.” Luna and Melina exclaimed.
“Me too.” Almost everyone chorused but I kept mute.
“And you Odette?
“Maybe.” I shrugged.
“Don’t worry she’s in. So truth or dare. Before I forgot Davis has something to tell us since he’s not here today maybe tomorrow.”
“Okay. Truth or dare?
“We are all in, my favorite game.” Harry said with excitement.
“I start the game, Raymond truth or dare? Owen asked and took a sip of his drink.
“Truth.”
“You’ve fked with how many ladies? Owen asked, Tim and Scott widened their eyes.
“Just twenty one ladies.” He said and Harry split out his drink.
“Bad boy.” Owen said.
“Truth or dare? Luna.”
“Dare.” Luna replied.
“I dare you to give Harry five minutes l@p dance.”
“Whoa! That’s good.”
“Go go girl, go go girl.” Melina, Corinne and Darlene sang and rolled my eyes. This is really cra.zy, I can’t fit in.
Luna stood and walked over to harry.
“Don’t worry I’m not gonna turn you on, I’ll be gentle.” Luna winked at him and proceed with her dare. Truly she’s an expert, she kept move on his laps and almost everyone roared.
“Done.” She said and walked back to her seat.
“Sht! What a bad girl, I think I need…never mind” Harry stopped what he’s about say.
“Darlene truth or dare?
“Truth.” She replied.
“Who’s your long crush?
She looked around the room then her eyes landed on kyle.
“K…kyle.” She sighed.
“Oh, poor child but he belongs to someone else now.” Scott muttered.
“I’m getting over him already.” She said. Kyle glanced over but I looked away.
“Delancy truth or dare? Scott asked.
“Dare.”
“I dare you to kss Melina.”
“Fk! I’m not a le.zbian men.” She grabbed a cup glass cup of vodka and gulped it at once.
“You’re next Odette, truth or dare? Delancy asked and my eyes almost pumped out.
“Huh? Me?
“Yeah.”
“Uh…huh.” I gulped for air. “Truth.”
“What’s the detect behind your voice? I was taken back for few seconds.
“I don’t know really.”
“What? She’s cheating, Luna you babe is cheating.”
“Then she should drink.” Corinne smirked.
“What? Kyle exclaimed.
“I got this.” I said and grabbed a glass cup of vodka, I couldn’t gulped it at once. It tasted sore and almost burnt my throat.
“Sorry.” I looked at kyle who has a concern look on.
“I’m okay.” I said.
“Truth or dare? Tim.”
“Truth.”
“You’re afraid of what? Corinne asked.
“Flies.” He said and we burst into delighted laughter.
“Like seriously?
“Yeah, I almost fell off from a cliff become of a fly but angel saved me.”
“Who? Raymond asked.
“That’s not part of the game. So I’m not gonna tell you.”
“Guess what? He’s talking about his girlfriend, angel. What a cr.azy dude.” Harry laughed.
“Cra.zy! Harry?
“Come on guys, so Kyle truth or dare? Luna asked and sat properly.
“Dare.” He replied and my heart skipped a beat, first kyle doesn’t drink anything alcoholic. Luna looked at me and smirked.
