I have to rushed to Queens residence because of my pin. Almost everyone has left, Melina choose to spend the break with her parents in Thailand while Corinne and Delancy decided to tour around the city. Luna and Darlene doesn’t have a plan for now.
We kept searching everywhere but we haven’t found it, I’ve messed up my room because of the pin. Kyle and I’d be leaving tomorrow. I’m really excited.
“Hey Odette did you search the drawer beside you? Darlene asked as she searched my luggage. Luna closed the wardrobes and sighed.
“Yes it isn’t there, I guess I must have kept somewhere after the concert. Where could it be now? I removed the pen I used to hold my hair and it fell down.
“I need to find it even if I’m not going to take it along.”
“How about your mansion? I’m pretty sure it’s there if you can’t find it here? Luna suggested.
“Oh my! What a dimwit, I’m going there right way.” I picked my handbag and headed out. “Please tell maids to clean up everything, bye.” I rushed my words and stepped out.
“Okay, take care honey, have fun.” They yelled. My phone beeped, I dipped my hand inside the pocket and brought it, I unlocked it and read the message kyle sent.
I didn’t bother to reply since he’s awaiting for me outside the mansion. I stalked out and walked toward the car. I hopped in and sat quietly beside kyle.
“Did you find it? He asked, I shook my head as a reply.
“No, probably I kept it somewhere in my room. Drake could you please take me home?
“Yeah ma’am.” He answered and ignited the engine.
“It’s a must you take it along? Why don’t you leave it since you’re sure about where you kept it.” Kyle mumbled.
“But I still have to confirm it first, I just can’t conclude like that. You know how much the pearl really mean to me. I have to find it and that’s final.” He rolled his eyes and twisted his lips in a cute way before looking away from me.
“It’s OK if that is what you want. We might not get the chance tomorrow because we’ll be leaving early.”
“That’s one of the reason why I choose to look for it now. Moreover there must be something I’ll need for the trip.” I uttered and glanced through the glass. Suddenly the car came to a halt and I alighted from the car while kyle also did the same.
“Where are you going? I arched my brow confusedly.
“I want to accompany you in and please don’t argue further because I won’t let you go in alone.” Kyle said firmly and I burst into delighted laughter.
“Like seriously? You’re talking as if something bad is going to happen to me if I go in alone, don’t worry about me Kyle… Don’t worry let me just rush in alone and rush back immediately. Uh…huh.”
“It would be very hard to change my mind Odette.” He moved closer.
“I’m not trying to change your mind, I’m just telling you that you’re over protective.” I tiptoed and whispered in his ear. “Perhaps you have something in your mind? I pointed my finger on his chest.
“Tsk! Dirty minded… Ok, I give up and you won.”
“You don’t really have a choice honey.” I said with a smirk of mischief. I opened the gate and walked inside.
I climbed up the stairs, heading to my room just about to twist the doorknob I heard some footstep.
“Hey Kendra are you back? I asked moving toward her room. “Is anyone home? Mom? I called out but I didn’t get a respond.
Maybe they ain’t around. I concluded and moved toward the door. I twisted the doorknob and it unlocked instantly. I rushed toward my bed, I checked under the pillows but the pin wasn’t there. I drew the drawer beside the bed side, the beautiful sight appeared. I picked up the pearl pin and grinned.
I was about to turn back when someone hit my head with something hard. I lose my balance, resting on my right knee. I glanced at the person who turned out to be Kennedy. She has a dev1lish smirk on. I shook my head vigorously when my vision became blur.
“Hello Odette. Surprise to see me? Oops don’t be honey… Remember when I told you that you’re going to pay for your sins with you life.” My head was spinning and tried hard to stand up but I couldn’t.
“Wha… What do you want Kennedy? I asked feebly.
“I’m here to kill you and end everything at once.” She curled her finger around the trigger.
“You don’t have to do this Kennedy, get out now, I don’t want to hurt you please.” I appealed to her.
“You think I’m afraid of you empty threat? Don’t be absurd Odette, remember I’m not kendra.” He smirk grew bigger.
“I guess you left me with no choice.” I shrugged my shoulders.
I hold unto my bed and stood on my feet. I opened my palm just about to use my power then I remembered about what mom told me. I shouldn’t use my power on her rather I should fight back.
“You b@stard! You never improve.” I yelled and I charged toward her and used my fist to kicked the gun off her hand and stepped on her feet.
“She grabbed my hair harshly and pulled it with force, I groaned in pain and fight to break free.
“Let go of me Kennedy, you’re hurting me.” I winced in pain and kicked her on her abdomen with my ankle.
“Ah! You btch.” She groaned as she fell on the floor. I rushed toward the door just about to open the door she spoke up.
“Freeze or I’m gonna pull the trigger now.” She ordered and I stopped walking.
Kyle please where are you, can you hear me… I need you. I glimpsed around and saw a flower vase beside me. I moved leisurely to it and grabbed it before throwing it at her in order to distracted her focus.
“My g©sh! She was bl.eeding and nursed her arm. I twisted the doorknob and rushed out.
“Kyle… Kyle.” I called out.
I hit my right leg with something hard and slumped on the floor heavily. “Ah.” I cried out in pain. Kennedy scuffed down the stairs, I forced myself up. I tried to move my leg but it hurts.
Kennedy grabbed me by my hair and pulled my back. “Do you want me to teach you some lesson btch? Huh? She yelled still holding the gun. I abruptly turned to her and tried to have the gun, she fought back as we kept kicking ourselves.
“Let it go! She yelled as we fought for the gun then the next thing I felt was pain, she pulled the trigger.

Kyle glanced at his wristwatch and sighed, it’s almost one hour she has left.
“What’s taking her for too long? He asked himself. He would have went in but he respected her decision.
His heart was beating fast like someone who’s panic. He made up his mind to go in.
“Hey Drake, I will be right back.” He opened the car door and alighted. He opened the gate, everywhere was isolated. He walked inside just about to take another step then he heart a gun shot.
“What’s that? He asked himself. Drake who asked heard the gun shot by chance quickly brought his gun out and rushed in the gate.
“Odette?… Oh my goodness Odette.” He panicked and ran inside. Drake tagged behind as he surveyed the environment if there would be any suspicious. When they reached the main living room Kennedy was about to ascend the stairs but Drake shot her leg and she slumped to the floor in pain.
Kyle took a step forward that was when he saw Odette in a cold bl©©d, fighting to breath. He rushed to her and rest her on his l.aps.
“O… Odette? Tears was steaming down his face as he clothes was already stained with her bl©©d. He used his to stopped the bl©©d that kept gushing out from her tummy.
“Ky… Kyle. Kyle… It hurts, it’s painful.” She cried in pain, she raised her hand and used it to caressed his face. “I didn’t… Know… It would be this early.”
“Ma’… Ma’am.” Drake squatted down, he was able to collected the gun from Kennedy.
“What the h.ell are you doing Drake? Call the ambulance now.” Kyle yelled.
“Please stay with me Odette… Please just wait a little more, please Odette… You promised me right… Just hang on.” He carried her up.
“I’m in pain Kyle, my heart is weak… I never wanted this to happen… It… I… Can’t breath… I love you… Always… Remember…th… That I do.” Her hand was still on his cheek.
“I love you too, you hold on a little more… He couldn’t finish his statement when her hand fell. “Odette… O… Ode… Odette? Are you listening? Hey Odette.” He squatted down and laid her on his laps rest her back in her arm. “Hey open your eyes, Odette… No… No please don’t do this to me… Please… Odette? This can’t be… No.. No oo oo oo! He yelled like something just pierced through his heart.

Daisy told me Odette has left and her sister chose to stay. I came to the castle to report something to Daisy base on the assignment she gave to me. After strolling around the palace I decided to check the dark room.
I opened the door and lights on, the huge box in the middle glittering as the fairies inside sways around. I walked over it.
“Like how long are you going to keep the big secret? I mumbled and touched it. Suddenly a strange wind blew in and sway the book which later stopped after ten seconds.
? she shouldn’t avoid her fate because there is something awaiting for her in the future. I turned to the next page.

“What’s happening? I panicked as I watched everything getting erase.
Thunder strikes, wind was howling blowing the curtain. She left home never knew there’s death waiting for… “Oh my g©sh! Odette?
