I and Ryan joined his friends at a table.
They had their dates together with them and Carl’s date turned out to be a friend and roomie of Diana.
I noticed her scrunch her nose upon my arrival at the table and rolled her eyeballs and I smrinked knowingly.
Tonight would surely be the worst valentine ever for Diana.

I marveled at the pretty ruby necklace Mason had gifted me.
It was silver and had a heart pendant totally made out of ruby stones.
I hugged him tightly in the middle of dancing students and I chuckled.
“I love you so much Denise.” He whispered into my ear and slightly bit my earlobe as I shivered hugging him tightly.
“Should we excuse ourselves?” He asked still hugging me and I nodded with a gulp.
“Sure.” I breathed and he chuckled breaking the hug as he took hold of my hand before we both made an exit.

I kept glancing at Diana smiling at her pretty smiles and laughter.
Her outfit was super outstanding tonight and I felt my body making a weird response whenever I lay my eyes on her.
She is just too pretty and a kind of friend I need by my side.
“Ryan!?” I felt a hard tap on my lap and I blinked repeatedly and faced Corriene who had a frown on.
“Are you really checking out girls when am right next to you?” She asked with a scoff and I cleared my throat.
“No darling. I was thinking about something.” I covered up and she rolled her eyeballs.
I chuckled and pulled her in for a distracting kss.
I needed to get my mind off Diana tonight.
“Go get a room.” I heard Nathan grouse when the kss had become too intense and I broke it with a smrink.
“What?. Am not the one holding you from asking her out.” I teased and he glared playfully at me as I and Carl had a good laugh.
My gaze unintentionally wandered to Diana and I saw her leaving the hall alone.
She had a puzzled look on her face and I suddenly developed a strong urge to go after her.
“I need to go grab a drink. Be right back.” I notified and briefly kssed Corriene before leaving.
