I knocked for the fifth time and got no answer.
I sighed opening the door and walked in.
The air condition in the room was so high and Ryan was staring out of the closed window with his headset on.
I walked up to him and touched his shoulder as he jerked lightly and turned to see me.
I reached and removed his headset as he stared into my eyes.
“They won’t be coming Ryan. My Dad just told me” I sadly notified and he scoffed.
“As expected. I barely see them every year simply because they are trying so hard to build an empire for me.” Ryan said with clenched jaws.
“Am sorry. Com’on, my Mum wants to see you. I guess this is the right time to tell my parents about us.” I grinned and he smiled.
“You are too forward Corriene” He sneered and I chuckled standing on tip toe before claiming his cold lips.

I and my family had a taste of almost all the snacks in the school and had an awesome ride throughout the parts of New York we could reach with the consent of the school authority.
I really had a fun filled day with them till it was time to depart.
Every parent had already began to make their way out by 5pm.
“See you soon D… I love you” Mum cooed and hugged me tightly.
I kssed Silvia and Dad a sad goodbye and watched them leave.
“Guess you had great fun”..
I turned to see Denise and Delia grinning faces and I chuckled.

We all did the cartwheel and teddy sit before rushing back to our corner still doing some low key moves.
The Elite had scored another goal against the Crackers team.
A team from the senior grade.
Right now, Elite was already beating ’em 40-15.
Somehow, a tiny smile played on my lips as I watched Ryan run around cleverly bouncing the ball away from his opponents.
No sooner, another shot followed directly into the net and we went into another round of cheering.

The game was finally over and the Elite emerged as winners again.
I and the cheerleaders were at the female change room getting cleaned up while some opted to head for their dorm and have a shower.
Corriene had left earlier to go and congratulate Ryan, not like she announced it buh it was obvious.
I had a quick shower at the change room cause am certain within myself that I would be lazy to use the dorm bathroom.

I zipped up my gown from behind and stepped out to meet two girls chattering while gathering their things.
I sighed opening my kit bag and took out a hair brush to fix my hair.
Once done, I gathered my things and took out Ryan jacket he had given me few weeks back.
I unknowingly let out a smile at the memory of our kss.
Ugh !
“Get off my head Ryan!”I muttered and exited the change room into the large court.
It was… empty.
No sound, no soul.
“Still here?”.
“Gaah!”I voiced turning in surprise to see Ryan.
I gulped staring at his straight face till his gaze moved to my arm where his jacket laid and I quickly stretched it out to him.
“Here.. I brought you back your jacket”I notified avoiding his gaze and he didn’t even move a limb.
I slowly dragged my gaze to his.
“I… brought..you.. back….your.. jacket” I picked my words.
He only stared at me for what felt like eternity then took the jacket from my hold and walked away without a single word.
I bit my lower lip shutting my eyelids tight and sucking in deep breaths.

“Have you seen the timetable yet?”I asked as I and Abigail carried out tray and headed for a booth for two.
“Nah. Heard it came out this morning” Abigail replied as we sat down.
“Just so you know, everyone has a peculiar time table” Abigail notified and I furrowed my brows.
“Just like the normal timetable?” I queried and she nodded.
“Yup!. You get a different time and class” She said and I got confused.
“Ok. If you have history on Monday ten anti meridian, I might be having biology at that same time. It is designed in a way that during exams, you don’t get fixed with anyone from any of the classes you attend. We both share history class meaning during history examination, we won’t be together” She explained.
“Oh! I see. What about the class?” I asked and she smiled.
“You might get lucky to be in any private class or with the school seniors or maybe unluckily, with the juniors” Abigail filed in with a shrug.
“Wow!” I muttered and chuckled.
“Well.. I can’t wait for the exams to start and be over. I miss my pet dog” Abigail groaned and I smiled with my thoughts wandering over to my family… Mummy, Daddy and Silvia.
After so many weeks, I would finally get to see them.

It’s been over a week since I and Abigail chat and well… it’s Monday, the start to my examination and I had history as a welcome.
I got fixed in grade 11 c, Denise class building.
Luckily for me, I was fixed into the private class.
Heard only few regular students get fixed in private classes.
I can only imagine a private class student being mixed with the regular studs.
I soon got seated in my class in wait for the examiner which is so cool!.
It had only twenty sitting capacity unlike the regular class which had forty-nine.
Well…it all felt weird as I quickly made a guess that l might be the only regular student and it turned out right.
Can’t wait to get this over with.

I groaned joining Delia and Denise at the snack booth.
“How was your paper hunni?” Denise asked and Delia laughed as I frowned.
“Horrible! I felt like a total stranger that l was and can you believe it!?… The students came along with malpra.ctice items”I said whispering the last part.
“Not surprised” Denise said.
“Me neither” Delia shrugged.
“Tell me it isn’t normal” I deadpanned and they chuckled.
“Believe me babe” Delia laughed.

“Where would you be having your next paper?” Nathan asked.
“Lab. Got practical paper”I replied and drank from my coke.
“Oh! Here comes the only girl great enough to steal Ryan’s heart” Carl teased.

“Hey guys!” I heard Corriene hail and sat next to me.
“Hey babe..” She cooed and planted a light kss on my cheek as I let out a smile facing her.
“Why avoiding the lips darling”I grinned and she arched a brow.
“We are at the canteen Ryan” Corriene blurted and I chuckled darkly.
“S¢r.ew it”I muttered and claimed her lips.
“Aww man!” Nathan groaned as he cheered along with Carl.
I broke the kss as Corriene fought hard to gain her breath.
“Really did the magic there bruh” CA teased.
“Shut the fk up Carl”I groaned with a smile pulling Corriene closer to me as I planted a kss on her hair and forehead.
