EPISODE FOURTEEN
I waited in the house for my father and Raymond.
They had both gone out to get evidences against chief Harry.
Raymond to Nightwalker and my father to chief Harry’s mansion.
I checked the window from time to time but I didn’t see any of them coming and it was getting dark.
Suddenly I saw a dark figure walking towards the house of chief Harry.
I craned and recognized him, it was chief Harry’s son.
The serial killer…
Why was my father taking so long?
I stepped out of the house.
My father had gone to chief Harry’s house to get some audio files from chief Harry’s study room.
He was not back and he wasn’t picking her call.
The serial killer will catch my father in the act if I didn’t interfere.
I had to distract him so that my father will be able to escape.
I walked to the building.
The security man opened the gate for me without asking what I wanted because he knew the bond my family shared with chief Harry.
Suddenly my phone began to ring.
It was Raymond Smith. “Hello Laura! Your family didn’t even know when you left the house. Where are you?”.
” I came to look for my father in chief Harry’s compound. His son just entered and I had to alert him. I have been calling his line since but he hasn’t been picking “.
” Your father? Your father had already gotten the audio files since and even met me at Nightwalker’s place. He has left that house since two hours now and we are back home. Come out right now”.
I rushed towards the locked compound gate but I stopped short at what I saw…
The security man that had allowed me in earlier was lying dead on the floor.
I heard footsteps from behind and I turned.
It was chief Harry’s son…
