CHAPTER 43
My nightmares have gotten worse these days but it’s not Ariel it’s Nyx.
Everytime I close my eyes I see Nyx’s body lying lifeless on the floor just like Ariel.
I wake up feeling scared and the first thing I go to check is my bedroom if she’s still alive or there.
I’m scared of losing her or her leaving me.
Everytime I think about her leaving me my heart feels uneasy.
I’m trying to even move on from my past. I had to change my password from Ariel to her name.
I changed it the day she told Stella I’m her boyfriend.
I’ve been trying so damn hard to move on , I even deleted Ariel’s picture from my phone but I just kept a few as a reminder that I once loved someone.
Everything that made me remember her I either throw it away or give it out to homeless people.
I want to be better not just for me but for Nyx too.
But everytime she shuts me out it feels like I’m not giving my best.
I know it will take a lot of time but I’m still trying.
I sat in my office in my company lost in my thoughts not hearing a knock on my door.
“Boss”
I snapped out of my thought as I looked up and saw daisy anger immediately rushed through me.
Lately, I’ve been getting pissed up for little things.
“Why are you here?” I yelled.
She flinched a little bus said while stuttering.
“Y..you ha..ve a meeting sir”
I sigh knowing that it’s wrong to take it out on her but I just can’t control it.
“Just cancel everything and reschedule it for another day”
“But sir you..”
“Do as I say”.
With that I stood up , walking to my private elevator.
Entering my car , I told my driver to take me home. I needed to see Nyx if she was alright.
I haven’t been able to think of anything but her even while I’ve been rescheduling all of them for the past one week now.
She’s everything I think of now, in my sleep, in the shower, while I’m eating, and at work.
When I needed Seth the most be now he’s out of town

Nyx lothario
It’s been a week now and I haven’t spoken to Eric and I’m running out of time.
In two days to come the meeting will be taking place and I don’t know how I’ll ask Eric to go with me.
I haven’t spoken to Ryder after I called him once.
I noticed this week Eric has been trying to talk to me but I’ll just Ignore him.
He took my innocence from me and I’ll never forgive that murderer.
