Goodness is in her room packing some clothes in the bag with intention to go look for her brother.
She’s not comfortable with the fact that her parents are not taking this seriously where was worried.
The fact that her parents don’t even bothered at all get her more angry so she decided to take thing in her own hand.
After she was done with the packing she grabbed her bag and went out of the room.
She gets to the parlour where others are and they saw her with the bag which got them confused.
” Baby, where are you going?, What’s with the bag?” Jane asked.
” I’m going Mom, I’m going to look for my brother…….if you’re not worried about him, I am” she said.
” I thought I told you your brother will be fine” Desmond said.
” Yes you did, but I can’t sit and wait anymore…….. it’s been four months and we haven’t heard from him”
” You didn’t even bother to search for him, I have a feeling something bad is going on” she added.
” You and I know very well your brother can look out for himself” Desmond said.
” Is he an alien?….. you’re making it sound like he’s immortal….. he’s a human being” she said back.
” You know what, this ………….” Desmond was saying then he was interrupted by the ringing of the home phone.
” I’ll get that” Jeff said then he went to answer the phone.
? ” Rolland residence” he said immediately he answered.
? ” Hey, little Man” the voice said and his eyes bulged out.
? ” Daddyyyyy…….. it’s Mike” he shouted happily then turned to Jeff.
” Connect him to the room” Desmond instructed and Jeff did as told.
? ” Hello guys” Mike said again and everyone could hear him.
? ” Mike?…are you crazy?….how could you not…..” Goodness was saying then was interrupted by Desmond.
” Ssshhhhh” Desmond shushed her and she stopped talking.
? ” Bright is the day” Desmond said.
? ” It never get dark” he replied.
? ” Hello son”
? ” Hi Dad”
? ” Mike, how could you do that?…….you don’t even bother calling, I was dead worried about you”
? ” I hate you…..you stupid boy” she said angrily and they all giggled.
? ” I’m sorry big sis, it wasn’t my intention…….trust me I never wanted to get you worried” Mike replied.
? ” I’m the only one worried in the house……you could’ve just call me you’re okay” she said again.
? ” Heyy…. Not you alone…..I’m worried too, Mikey, I’m glad you’re fine” Mercy also said.
? ” Heyy baby, what happened to you?……I was also worried about you, you should’ve called you know” Jane said.
” Seriously Mom, just stop the act already…… you’re fooling no one here” she said.
” Who says I’m fooling anyone…..I’m serious here” Jane replied.
” Yeah right” she replied sarcastically.
” Okay guys, can you all just be silent for a minute and let’s here him out” Desmond said to them.
? ” Don’t mind them son, you know how women behaves…….so tell me what happened?” Desmond asked.
? ” I was betrayed Dad” Mike replied.
? ” Betrayed?…….what are you talking about?” Desmond asked.
? ” I finally found out who Peruzad is” Mike said.
? ” You do?……who is he?” Mercy asked.
? ” It’s turned out he’s someone close to me, you will be surprised who that is” Mike said.
? ” Please, Surprise me” Desmond urged.
? ” It’s Tony” he said.
? ” Tony?” Desmond said.
? ” You mean Handsome Tony, the half-caste?” Mercy asked.
? ” Yeah, that’s him” Mike confirmed.
? ” No way, are you kidding me, I can’t believe that……I had a crush on that guy?” Mercy said.
? ” Hold on, who is Tony?” Jane asked.
? ” He’s one of his friends, the ones I told you about” Mercy said.
? ” How did it go?” Desmond asked.
? ” I was taken by surprise……I almost died or should I say I died, your bulletproof and the watch saved me”
? ” And Dad, I didn’t let that guy go……I made a deal with him….. infact he rescued me” Mike said.
? ” Wow, you surprised me son, Nicely done……turns out something good actually came out of your second chance” Desmond replied.
? ” Also turns out Peruzad father is the deputy chief at the agency and they’ve been working together” Mike said.
? ” Wow, you’ve been dining with your enemies for so long and you didn’t even know it” Jane said.
? ” But All those happened four Months ago……you could’ve just called and let us know you’re okay” Goodness said.
? ” Seriously sis?, Didn’t you hear all he went through in the hands of his trusted friend” Mercy said.
? ” I’m sorry I was unable to reach out, it was because I was in coma, I just woke up today” he said.
? ” Ohmygod, How are you feeling Now?” Goodness asked.
? ” I’m fine but I’m afraid I might be too late” Mike said.
? ” What do you mean?” Desmond asked.
? ” Peruzad has set out to his course, you heard about the military bombing, and the police station bombing?” Mike asked.
? ” You mean that was him?” Desmond asked.
? ” Yes, and he’s just getting started” Mike replied.
? ” What exactly is his aim?…..and why is he doing this?” Desmond asked.
? ” You won’t believe it if I tell you?” Mike said.
? ” Try me” Desmond replied.
? ” Some years ago, his mother was killed in the war between police officers and the soldiers”
? ” His Italian mother is the reason he’s doing all these, he’s taking vengeance on everyone for that”
? ” And I think he’s planning on going after the military and police but I don’t know his exact plans” Mike said.
? ” If you want to commit mass murder you should have a good reason, what kind of ridiculous reason is that” Desmond said.
? ” Right now, I don’t know his location, I have no clue about where to look, he wiped all his trace”
? ” So I decided to invite you back to the city, and help menl fight these people, Kill them all I don’t care” Mike said.
? ” Nah, I’m too old for that….. doctor told me not to move around too much” Desmond denied.
? ” Seriously?, Perhaps you didn’t hear me clearly, this is me asking for your help” Mike rejected.
? ” Nah…… I’m not interested” Desmond replied.
? ” he needs backup, If you’re not interested then let Mercy go to him…. I’m sure she’s willing.” She said.
? ” Why do you made it sound like I like trouble that much?” Mercy asked.
? ” No one is going anywhere, Don’t expect anyone Mike…….. you’re doing this by yourself” Desmond said.
? ” What do I do?” He asked.
? ” Now you know who the Peruzad is which is great because that’s the most important thing ” Desmond said.
? ” Know your enemy and their aim”
? ” To him the game is over because he thinks you’re out of the game ”
? ” You have the biggest advantage because he won’t be expecting you, now create your own game”
? ” Now it’s your turn, make him play your game, bend him according to your will because you alone know the rules”
? ” The reason you lost in the first place was because you don’t know the game or the rule”
? ” You’re just playing blindly, directing you as he wish, which enable him to take you out easily”
? ” Now you have the upper hand and now use this to your advantage, Make him play your game” he concluded.
? ” You understand?” Desmond asked.
? ” Yes Dad” he replied.
? ” Good, keep me informed” Desmond said.
? ” I will” he said then ended the call.

” Seriously Dad, how could you let him do this by himself………he almost died” Goodness said.
” He wasn’t ready then…..Now he is”
” Before a gold come out shining in its Glory…..it has to pass through fire…..”
” Now the fire is in him, He now have everything he needs to win…….. he’s now a new man”
