Cab..

Claribel heaved a deep sigh in relief, her face looked so pale and swollen and of course her eyes were damn red.

They were quite lucky to get a cab after escaping from the yard

The cab driver drove on full speed, focusing totally on the road while Ann and Andrea sat at the passenger’s seat beside him

Deanna, Dylan and Claribel sat at the back seat, with Dylan in the middle

“Clarry..” Dylan suddenly called, taking her white palm in his

“Huh..?” She turned to him, diverting her gaze to him in the process

“Thank you.. thank you so much” he said in sincerity

“Even despite the circumstances and how my past kept haunting the present, putting us in more danger, you still stood by me..

I feel so terrible for causing you so much pains but much more than that you’re someone every man wishes to have.. a rare gem and someone of great values” he said without breaking the stare

Deanna breathed heavily, hoping Ryan would be so patient to understand and be considerate

Claribel flashed a smug smile

“It was a dangerous attraction and despite the fact that love is a risk,

I’m ready to take such risk if it means spending my whole life with you.

I don’t care of what situation or circumstance that may arise but all I care about is to be with the one I love” she said truthfully

“From a Babysitter to my daughter’s favorite then to to a bride for rent, and to Mariana’s sister and now…

To the love of my life” he said and she felt her cheeks heat up as she blushed

“From a jerky boss to an arrogant maniac..” the paused and they both laughed

“And to a cry baby then to my late sister’s husband and now to the love of my life” she added and he was about leaning in when they suddenly remembered their in a car

He stopped and pecked her forehead only

“Deanna..” he suddenly called, turning to her

“Words can’t express my gratitude cuz you are like a guardian angel.

You’ve always stood by me even when I was wrong, protected me when I was in danger and even caught me when I was stumbling..

You’re more than what I ever deserve, thanks for being a darling” he Said

She smiled broadly in response

“Its fine..” Her voice came in a whisper

His phone rang loudly as he gulped down the whole content in his cup, picking it up and swiped green after noting the caller’s ID

“What do you mean by the goods got seized by the government, aren’t they registered goods!!”

Chief Wilson yelled at the caller.. breathlessly after few minutes of conversing with the caller

“Sir, I really don’t know how and why they did that” his manager replied through the phone, sounding scared

“Shut the fk up and do something about it!!” Wilson yelled again

“I’ve tried my best possible but instead they threatened to seize your properties here in India” the manager replied

“What the h’ll!!!”

“I’m doomed..” he muttered as the phone slipped from his hands and slowly fell to the ground as he wished everything was a dream

All he had laboured for!!

His efforts!!!

His wife stared at him in ignorance

“What’s wrong..?” She furrowed her brows in curiosity

“My goods got seized and in fact the companies are being threatened to be seized” he said forgetting her ear issues

“What!! The president d!ed?! When? How? Why??!!” She screamed

Chief Wilson’s bad mood increased immediately as his rage and fury multiplied and without hesitation he picked up the glass cup and threw it on her in anger

“Shut the crap…”

And unfortunately..

It landed right on her forehead, shattering into pieces

“Wilson…” She muttered lowly and slowly… Fell unconscious..
