Deanna’s Home
“Ryan, this is the fourth time you’re refusing to eat your food, why are you doing this” Deanna said leaning weakly on the wall
Her forehead was full of beads of her sweat despite being under the air conditioner
Ryan scoffed, adjusting his tie
“I never told you I was gonna eat” he said simply and bluntly..
Princeton watched from the dining table, shoving a spoonful of omelette in his mouth
Deanna sighed
“But I made your food already..” she winced
“Fine… Feed the dogs”
“Huh..?!” She scrunched up her brows
“You heard me, at least I’ve been living fine with my son ever since you left” he said.. frankly and almost yelling
“But…”
“Are you even a responsible wife?! Talkless of being a responsible mother, you fking left your son and husband for days.. days Deanna!
And now you’re expecting me to embrace your actions and speech.. never! Just stay on your own” he said furiously
Deanna flinched with a stagger, breathing heavily
“I’ve apologized a million times already, Ryan, I made a promise to Mariana in her grave, I promised to protect her family and you know it..
I’m sorry for going against your words but I just had to..” she said sincerely with teary eyes
Ryan wasn’t moved
“I don’t care okay, you’re free to protect whoever you wanna protect.
Infact, you may decide to live with them, you’re free but just stay on your own.
But don’t cross your boundaries!” He said, glaring daggers at her
“Ryan why are you doing this to me..?” She sniffed, as her tears began pouring freely from her eyes
“You should be asking yourself that question” he scoffed and headed towards door but suddenly remembered something and stopped on his tracks, turning back to her, he pointed his fore finger at her
“Now listen Deanna, if anything happens to my baby in your womb, I swear to all that exists, you’ll rot in jail” he threatened and her tears kept falling
“Princeton, lets go” he said to his son and the little boy stood up, gulping down the whole content in his cup
He picked his backpack and waved secretly at his mum before leaving with Ryan..
Deanna fell heavily on the couch
“Can someone wake me up from this dream..” she yelled amidst tears

Dwayne’s Mansion
“Are you still not gonna go home, it’s been four days already” Dwayne said, descending the stairs
Cindy heaved a deep sigh
“Are you chasing me away now” she furrowed her brows, pouting her lips as she spoke
He scoffed
“Of course not.. I’m just being so considerate, your mum is in a critical condition.
Your brother’s surgery is three days away and your sister will definitely be worried.. you really need to go home” he said
Cindy sighed again..
“Dwayne please… Say something else okay” she said bluntly and he breathed heavily before proceeding to sit beside her, pulling her closer to him self
“Tara.. you know I’ll always want the best for you, your home is still your home and no place can be your home.
I’ll be such a bad person if I don’t tell you the truth, even if it’s just this once, you really need to go home and see your family” He said
“And I said no!! Ion have a family okay..! My parents are irresponsible, they only returned home because of what happened.
They give us no attention and to worsen it all, my sister is carrying my own brother’s child!.
And now all you keep saying is that they need me, of course not!” She yelled.. breathlessly, moving away from him
“Listen.. if you don’t want me in your house, then fine..!! I’ll lodge an hotel” she added with a Frank expression
“Com’on Tara, we both know it’s my delight to see you around me.. but at the same time, your family needs you best.
Please Tara” he said with a pleading look in sincerity
“Staying away from them won’t solve the situation, it’s only when you unite with each other and fight against every problem.
You really have to go see them Tara” He added, hoping she will change her mind.
