“And who’s she? Who’s she working for?” Jemima asked.

“Lina, your secretary. She works for Williams who’s jailed” chairman replied, and her eyes widened.

LINA’S PLACE**

Lina’s eyes widened immediately she saw the news about the survival on TV, and she spranged up instinctively.

Her eyes were wide as she ran into the room where Linda is still sitting in. She’s still crying too.

She began packing her bags after searching for their passports, and Linda stood slowly.

“Where are we going?” She asked with a sniff.

“We have to get outta this country now, like now” Lina replied.

“What! For what? I’m not leaving!” Linda said, and Lina grabbed her hand.

“Let’s go!” She insisted, but Linda broke free immediately.

“I said I’m not leaving! You should leave on your own I’m not moving a finger when Oliver is dying soon!” She shouted.

“Oliver will die one day even if you hadn’t poisoned him! We’re all bound to die anyways so let’s leave!” Lina pulled her hand again.

“I said no!!” Linda screamed, forcefully taking her hand from her.

Lina staggered roughly, falling so hard on the wall. Her head got badly h!t on it, and it made a loud sound as bI.ood erupted, washing down her face and the back of her head.

Her eyes were so wide as she went down, bI.eeding so much.

“Lina!” Linda quickly knelt beside her.

“Lina I swear I didn’t mean to push you! You should have left me when I told you to leave!!! Lina!!” She cried, and a small tear slipped out of Lina’s eyes as her neck went limp.

Linda’s eyes widened more, and tears rushed out of her eyes too.

“Lina no! Please don’t do this!… Lina!!!” She screamed madly, and she heard people come in in the living room immediately, but she kept crying, calling Lina’s name.

Cops rushed in, meeting her on the spot.

Their eyes widened when they saw what’s actually going on, and one of them quickly checked Lina’s jugular on her neck.

“She’s gone” he said, looking up at the others.

Linda smiled dementedly, looking up with her teary eyes.

She tendered her arms forward for arrest.

“I klled her” she muttered.
